Wonderful house!! Suited our needs perfectly, the house was roomy and gave everyone enough space. The beach items in the garage were perfect and made the trip so much easier. If I could make one suggestion maybe up tick the temperature on the hot water tank so we could take a hotter baths. But overall 10/10!!

Very clean and very quiet. great location. Accommodated 8 people with no issues. Communication with the host was excellent. Very nice layout. The pool and hot tub is only a 2 min walk from the house. The private beach was excellent with great snorkeling. Garage had all the snorkel gear we needed. We highly recommend and would stay here again if/when we come back to the big island.

We had a very relaxing and fun family get-away at this amazing property! The kitchen was well-equipped and the entire place was furnished to comfortably accommodate 10 of us! We especially loved the open kitchen and only wished there were more chairs to accommodate more of us around the kitchen island. We enjoyed the 3 bicycles, gas grill, and entrance to the special beach. In addition, the owner was very responsive to our questions. It was a weekend to remember!!

This was a very nice and spacious home. The gated community made it feel very safe for me and my daughters. Everything was very clean which was important to us. Very convenient that some condiments already in kitchen: sugar, salt & pepper, cooking oil, etc. One suggestion to owner is to either use white towels that can be bleached or use color safe bleach. Towels had a bit of a smell to them.

We brought our daughters to Hawaii for their high school graduation celebration. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed every aspect of the home and island. This house was conveniently located to all major activities and we couldn’t be happier. The house was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed to have a wonderful vacation. We would stay here again.

Property was pretty much as advertised. Some furniture showed some wear, especially the outdoor chairs. There was no closet available in the upstairs bedroom. The community pool was spacious but in need of some maintenance. The neighborhood was quiet.

The accommodations were excellent and we throughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful artwork in the home. Quiet backyard with barbeque and large table that accommodated the whole family. Beautiful landscape. Beach chairs, sand toys and biggie boards were available and much appreciated. Access to lovely swimming pools nearby.

I have stayed with friends in this gated community before and loved it, so rented this house. Well laid out for our family of 8: 5months old, 8,11 year olds and adults up to 70's. Fully equipped and labeled kitchen, and swimming/snorkerling shade gear. Even a port a crib! Owner responded quickly to questions, of which there were few.Walks and beach club gorgeous. Near surf beach Hapuna. Grocery store and breakfast easy walk and delicious (but super expensive !) Would definitely stay there again if I had my whole family with me.

This place was perfect for us! The layout was great for our 6 adult 2 kid family. They had a great little set up of beach/activity toys. The check in process and property management was easy to communicate with throughout our stay. Its conveniently located to a grocery store and shops. The beach club wasnt too conveniently located but very nice one there. Its a bit of a drive to most happening things on the island but we had a great stay! Much appreciated it.

This was a great stay for the whole family, 4 of us plus 6 grandparents. We used the pool and hot tub almost every day. The private beach access was clutch with young kids who wouldn’t tolerate a long drive or walk, it was also very safe and clean, perfect for our 3 year old with great snorkeling right there too. Very walkable and quiet resort community, driving distance to shops and other recreation.

The home was clean and well appointed. Nice pool area for the kids. Close to restaurants and shopping. Couldn’t be better.

Well equipped home with a great community pool and fitness area, lots of water toys. Outdoor bbq was perfect for easy family grilled dinners. Bikes were fun to ride around and renting golf carts is definitely recommended. This is our second time staying in the Mauna Lani area but first time in this development. Lots of space for the whole family. Would definitely come back!

This is an amazing property in Ka Milo - beautiful grounds, great pools and hot tubs, access to private beach club. The hosts are super responsive and cared deeply about the renters' experience. Mahalo!

This property was perfect for our family group of 9 adults and one 1.5 year old! Communication with the owner was great. Very responsive and so accommodating for us and our little one- even providing a new playpen and booster seat so babe could have a comfortable stay. There were toys and books for her, as well. The home was beautiful, comfortable, very clean, and worked out wonderfully for our family. We had everything we needed. The property is located in a gated community in Mauna Lani resort. It’s a bit of a drive to hot destinations on the island like Kona, Hilo, Volcano- but the resort offers several great beaches and the community has an excellent pool area (two pools and a hot tub!). Hiking trails and good snorkeling within the resort, plenty of shops and dining. We had some trouble as a large group eating out; most restaurants did not have capacity for our group of 10– we were told people make reservations far in advance, but I don’t think this would be an issue for smaller groups. We remained flexible and enjoyed cooking together at the house; we grilled fresh-caught Mahi Mahi two nights in a row! The market just a short walk/drive away is well-stocked and offers bountiful fresh produce, bakery items, and prepared foods including various poke! We recommend renting a golf cart- fun, reasonable price, and made getting around the resort easy with the little one and older parent. The property is well-stocked for the beach with snorkel gear, boogie boards, beach towels, sand toys, pool noodles, and more! We really appreciated all the nice touches around the house like the fully-stocked kitchen, board and children’s games, outdoor BBQ grill, coffee pot and French press, and toiletry items. We loved sitting on the patio together for morning coffee and breakfast and dad practically lived on the lanai. The colorful birds with their songs outside and the breeze rustling the tropical trees was so peaceful. The bathtubs in the two master bedrooms are such a treat! We had such a fun and relaxing trip. We really appreciate the owner’s thoughtfulness and responsiveness. We did have a little trouble checking in because of the code, but James was very responsive and overall the process was easy using a lockbox to get the house key. Home is a townhouse but we never heard the neighbors at all. Great stay and would recommend this property to other families and groups looking for a relaxing Big Island RESORT STYLE vacation.

This Hawaiian home was perfect for our family of four generations! Having everything except one bedroom on one level was perfect. My dad was recovering from a broken femur so not having stairs to get into the unit was great. The owners provided three bikes that really enhanced our ability to enjoy the Mauna Lani area. One of the highlights for us was a wonderful breakfast at the Fairmont Orchid provided by the owner. A special treat for sure. The owner was great to work with and very responsive with his property manager. Mahalo for sharing your piece of Hawaii!

It was a perfect and comfortable place for my family to stay in. Very roomy and comfortable beds.

Our stay in KaMilo was picture perfect! Truly a home away from home. The property was exquisitely clean when we arrived and we were thrilled that had more than enough space for 6 adults and 2 infants. A perfect home to enjoy each other’s company in the communal spaces but also enjoy privacy and quiet time in our rooms, when needed. The location was great! The pool was only a hop skip and a jump away and the beaches and grocery store were just a short drive. Check-in was a breeze and Deisell was very responsive and helpful when we had questions. We would happily stay here again in the future.

The property is somewhat dated. While it is advertised as a "villa," it is really a townhouse - one wall of the house is shared with the neighboring house, without windows, which makes the property rather dark. Also, the closet in the upstairs bedroom was locked (labeled as "owner's closet"), so cannot be used by guests, which is very inconvenient. In addition, the shower in the upstairs bedroom was leaking for several days. The leak eventually travelled down the vent of the downstairs master bath, and also pushed through the ceiling. We collected several buckets of water in both bathrooms before the property manager was able to fix the leak. The constant dripping in both bathrooms day and night was annoying. Furthermore, the water pressure in the house is very low, so forget about taking a nice shower and rinse out your hair. Too many problems with this property that made our vacation less enjoyable than we had hoped for!

Property is as described-roomy enough for our 8 guests to have some privacy or socialize as they wished. We appreciated the nearby beach club and ample beach equipment at the house.

We just returned from a 2-week stay at this wonderful home located in Ka Milo gated community. The house was spacious and well appointed for two families staying together. The back lanai was wonderful and we used it daily to eat breakfasts and some dinners. The kitchen was well stocked and house very clean. We also appreciated the abundance of beach accessories as we love the beach and spent most of our vacation beach hopping. The house is in close proximity to some of the best beaches on the island (Hapuna, Beach 69, Kua Bay, Mauna Kea Resort beach, A-Bay, and Mauna Lani private beach club). All beaches have something different to offer. The hosts were very attentive and responded to any questions during our stay timely and thoroughly. Overall, it is a great property in a great safe gated community. We didn't really spend much time in the community pool, but it looked beautiful. I would definitely recommend staying here.

We enjoyed our stay in this spacious townhome. Backyard lanai is large and private, with large sliding glass doors opening up to the living room. Beds were comfortable, kitchen was well appointed and the unit came with great beach/pool toys. Pool/gym facilities are the best in the Mauna Lani complex.

We really enjoyed our time at the property. The location was great and we loved the gated community and amenities. We did have some hiccups at check-in, but the host was very communicative and quickly took care of our issues.

The house is located in a great community near Mauna Kea beach. The owners were very attentive and the house was perfect!

We had a great stay at this house-- the layout was good for our family of 5 during our spring break trip to Hawaii. Beautiful area, very nice house, responsive owner and property manager. We recommend it! Nice shopping center very close with grocery store and restaurants. Although we didn't swim at the pool, it looked nice and there were people swimming and having fun. We did go to the beach club and enjoyed that as well. We enjoyed the lanai/patio on the back of the house. The landscaping in the neighborhood and the area is beautiful. Some fun things that we did were drive to the top of Mauna Kea to watch the sunset and on another day we drove north and hiked down to the Kapauaa beach.
