the aircon was at the dining area, which wasn’t ideal as it can get quite warm at night since the AC was blowing against the direction of where the beds were.

The place is nice, not as crammed as other rooms in Japan hotels. Automated check-in is easy. Location is great, close to important streets and public transportation. Easy to get in and out. Reasonably well equipped.

No personalization of the stay whatsoever, made it difficult to manage routine tasks. Appliances are all in Japanese. Stays longer than 5 days deserve a little basic housekeeping and replacing of basic things. They sent me what appeared to be important communication for the check-in and the stay in Japanese, requesting me to translate and making me responsible for correctly interpreting their demands. There is a hidden charge related to an accomodation tax, despite Booking says taxes are included in the price, and only cash is allowed to pay for it. Unclear information about handling of garbage and recycling. Check-out is unreasonably early and there is no asking them for a late check-out. Far too many rules for very few amenities and comforts.

I had a wonderful stay, My room was big and very clean and looked amazing inside. Lounge was soft and comfortable very easy to relax and watch movies on. Location is great. It’s a small walk to a big shopping centre and close to everything.

The bed and pillows are very hard.

We liked many aspects of GRAND BASE Haruyoshi. The room was spacious, much more than usual for Japanese hotels, particularly at this price point. We also appreciated the living room, kitchen, cooking utensils, and laundry machine. The ample electricity outlets were a great convenience. The hotel's location was a major highlight - it's ideally positioned in the city center, a short 15-minute walk to Hakata station, and just a 5-minute walk to Canal City, with a plethora of restaurants and convenience stores nearby.

There was no on-site staff, which means room service was not available during our stay. Some guests might find this lack of direct staff interaction challenging. However, the self-check-in system via a tablet was straightforward to use with the instructions provided via email.

Spacious, clean, good location

The hotel is pretty new and modern with comfortable beds and a nice bathroom. We had a shower and it was completely okay for us. The small kitchen area with microwave and kettle is practical and the tv is large.

There is no real closet, just a few hangers, so it's hard to store clothes when you're staying a bit longer. Also, we had the room directly across from the check-in counter, so it was pretty loud.

It's located in a good area where most of the city sights are within walking distance (e.g. Yatai stalls, department shops etc) with lots of restaurants around. It is a bit further from the station but only took about 15-20 mins to get there. Check in is easy through an online service. There is no luggage storage before or after check-in/check-out. The room itself was spacious with a big bathroom.

Near the yatai stalls, hakata station os just 15 minutes walk. Near canal city and kawabata shopping arcade too. Contactless check in is fast too. Check out took less than a minute. The staff also gave us umbrellas to use because it was raining when we checked out.

Large space. Everything is new and clean. The bathroom has gas heating function, which is very suitable in winter. Online staff is very helpful.

Only one garbage bag is provided for long stay. This may cause hygiene problems.

Room is big, with kitchen, and comfortable beds. Location is great and 5mn walk to downtown.

There is no free parking, but you can find many around. During weekends, it's difficult to find an empty place to park.

Location was perfect (10 mins walk from Tenjin). Room was very clean and spacious with the space to cook. very good place to stay with your family or friends for a week vacation in Fukuoka. Highly recommend this place.

Brand new and completely updated. In room laundry and kitchen. Location is great, lots of restaurants and ¥parking nearby.

Beds are a little hard.

Location, location, location. Epicenter of what ever tickle your fancy. From shopping to bars hopping. Kinda feel like not sharing this rear GEM. The more I writes a review. The harder it is for me to book this place.

The four walls are solid. Just the ceiling, your upstairs neighbor floor, can use some insulation.

Quiet place.

Booked out quick. Can’t have to much of a good thing.
