It was a wonderful place to stay. Trish was so very helpful. So comfortable and just what we were hoping for. Not far to walk to public transport, which takes you straight into Edinburgh City centre. We would definitely recommend Daiches Braes and come back again. Just perfect 👌
There wasn't anything I didn't like. It was just lovely.

It is a great location near Brunstane train station and a twenty minute walk to Portobello beach. The flat had everything I needed. Trish was very helpful answering any questions I had.

The location is near the railway station and near to the main road for good bus services I would not attempt to drive into Edinburgh but the buses are very good service as is the train. The property was a 5 minute bus ride to the beach and about 15 minutes into the centre of Edinburgh

Amazing location in quiet neighborhood, on nature path to manor house and North Sea. Comfy bed, well decorated, cozy cooking and dining.
A small mix up with leaving the key. Be sure to communicate clearly the date, day, and time of your arrival. Once we were in, our stay was perfect!

A compact but comfortable apartment in a pleasant and peaceful location with easy access to Edinburgh. Ideal for two people.
The water pressure in the shower could have been better.

Location was great!
Whole place smelt like dog, had dog hairs everywhere(I understand it said pets allowed but it could of done with a good clean/hoovering) , cutlery, pots, mugs etc were dirty, the place was someone's house with a converted garage, place could be set out a bit better with more space also not sure how it is disable accessible as it had a step into the place and very narrow inside when trying to get to the kitchen area, steps for shower and step before going into bathroom area. Will not be staying again and definitly would not recommend.

Great location for both the beach and for getting into Edinburgh easily on the train. Very Friendly and helpful host who was always on hand if I needed anything. Would stay again.
Full control over the central heating in the apartment would be ideal as it was chilly late at night sometimes.

This property is ideally located for attractions, it's very close to direct links to the city 10 mins away the A1 is less then 2 minutes.. Lots of places to eat locally or a full kitchen set up to cook at home. The location is very peaceful with a nice walk to the beach front. Lots of roadside parking available. Host is very welcoming and knowledgeable.
Pet friendly and prefect for disabled travelers that are able to walk short distances, there is 2 steps in to the shower but plenty of hand rails. In my opinion it's extrwamly clean and Covid safe.

The property was a stone's throw from the train station which was ideal. The keys were easy to find on arrival & the studio apartment had all I could need. It was a twenty-minute walk or so from Portobello main street. Trish was very helpful with making recommendations.
There is also a cosy electric fire so I think it would be suitable in summer and the colder months for this reason.
I am a writer and I was mainly in the area to get some writing done, while taking breaks down at the beach/shops in Portobello. At times, I found noise from surrounding neighbours a bit disruptive. To be honest, writers aren't happy unless they're on a mountanside on the middle of nowhere so it all depends on your reason for going!

It is only 15 mins walk from the beach
Host was miserable as sin and quite rude. Its a converted garage in a town house in the middle of a residential street -not what i was expecting from the photos at all, although it was cheap so my own fault really
