Clean and quirky loved the wood touches throughout had everything we needed

Location was handy to town, able to walk from there. Quiet with lovely outlook.

Milk supplied for breakfast was only enough for 1 day or so, had to ask for extra on 2x. Also the same with yogurt. Would be nice to have fruit with breakfast. No microwave or tv. Chairs weren't that comfortable to sit on for breakfast. Towel on floor at entrance instead of an mat. No where to put bags except on the floor. Cold concrete floor.

Great play to stay. Everything was fabulous.

Everything was great, maybe just the roller doors for the bathrooms need to be slightly more secure.

Everything. Beautiful inside and out with everything you could need. Everything that the other reviews say is true, but none of those things are a big deal and are completely forgotten in this beautiful place.

The unit was well equipped, clean and very comfortable

It was clean. Nice bathroom.

Low ceiling. Cramped. Felt cell or cave like. No TV. No microwave. No dining table or chairs. No kitchen sink or proper dish & cutlery washing up facilities except for a plastic bucket. No carpet. Plunger coffee only...no instant. The grapefruit marmalade on offer lethal to one of us. No jams on offer. Very average views. Lack of lighting in parking area. Severe trip hazard at top of steps leading to rooms. Road access/egress difficult/dangerous. Parking area most likely should have guard rail at retaining wall. Never saw a hint of host during entire stay. Online booking advertisement didn't indicate what manner of accommodation it was.

Great location, Very clean and comfy accommodation. Wonderful breakfast. Staff really lovely with good communication. Great bathroom too.

Great location to visit Abel Tasman by boat. Clean room, very comfy bed and good shower. We also appreciated the breakfast supplies, including plunger coffee!

The bed was comfortable and the shower was great. The modern design & furnishings are appealing (although not always practical).

The room itself is quite small and was very hot. The fan which was provided helped, but we kept the windows closed to avoid hearing our neighbours. The breakfast which was provided was disappointing: prepacked slices of white bread, cheap jam and no butter. There are no kitchen facilities except for a kettle, toaster and fridge. We had to use the sink in the bathroom to wash our breakfast dishes (or we could have used a bucket which was provided?).

This isn't really dislike as such but need for some practical improvements. Most people staying tend to be walking, or visiting the park. Therefore want to cook, or at the very least prep a sandwich. There is no cooking facilities, nor easy access to space and kitchenware to make food! Whilst a bbq is available, there is no cleaning equipment. A bbq brush or something similar to clean is essential. Perhaps also have some tinfoil or trays to cook with, maybe a bit more option around food prep. The bedroom is big enough to have somewhere to place bags, the floor and only a door hanger isn't ideal, causing trip hazard especially at night. No bed side lights in a small room with bags on floor, when trying to negotiate a dark room to the bathroom, is not great! Whilst the tree trunk bedside tables look fantastic, watch your clothes on these! A few extra kitchen utensils, serving plate and extra bowls for salad/fruit would be a bonus. Washing up in a plastic bowl is fine, but some bench space to do so would be beneficial. This place has such potential, would suggest the owners spend a few nights with a suitcase and travel meals to work out how they might make a few valued changes.

Our hosts allowed us to bring our small dog and crate as we couldn't book her into our usual kennels it was much aappreciated by us and the dog. We enjoyed meeting the owners who were very welcoming.

Shame there wasn’t a sink to wash dishes or anywhere to put clothes or suitcase. Walls are very thin.

Loved the modern space, great shower and bathroom. Comfortable bed. There was no T.V but this was not a bad thing! Breakfast was great - just the right amount for two. Loved hearing the birds and seeing a Weka in the yard.

There is some upstairs noise and walls are thin between units.

Clean room in a lovely, peaceful location. Nice deck to sit outside in the sun. 10 minutes walk to the beach, shop and eateries of Kaiteriteri. Breakfast items provided. Didn’t encounter any staff but clear instructions were provided for check-in.

Quite minimalist in terms of furnishings e.g. no lamps or tv. Also no cooking facilities which is something to bear in mind given Kaiteriteri’s limited options for dinner. Wi-Fi is also quite slow.

TV would be a good addition

Superb location 5 minutes walk (steepish) to beach activities and water taxis. Lovely view from patio. we really appreciated the supplied breakfast items (cereal, milk, bread, and selection of spreads)

It was very hot when we were there and there was a fan, but no air con.

Close to beach area but away from crowds.

Having a TV would be nice
