Great location, the views are exceptional, and Tropea is a short drive - you need a car if staying here. The apartment suited us well for a short stay, myself and my wife with two young kids, any longer and I would want a larger place, although ideal for a couple for longer. The apartment has all the facilities you would expect and need, is decorated well and the are also grounds are kept in good order.

Only issues were, the shower isn’t great - it isn’t not very powerful and is a struggle to get the right temperature. Additionally the complex as a whole feels a bit dated, we stayed there 14 years ago (in a different apartment) and it feels like the pool area and buildings haven’t been touched since.

The apartment is located in the hotel complex, you can use the local swimming pool. We liked the view as it is located on a hill. The equipment is sufficient, clothes dryer, grill and outdoor seating are nice

We chose the apartment because of the offered wifi, we were disappointed as it was absolutely non-functional. The owner lives in Austria, there is a relative of hers who only communicates in Italian. Bad communication. We visited 5 accommodations in Italy, only in this one they didn't ask for our passports and we didn't get a confirmation of paying the tourist tax. Cleaning could be more careful.

Location stupenda

it’s a nice concept on a hill overlooking Tropea.

There were many hurdles and what was posted on Booking.com sadly did not match the experience. the name of the apartment has nothing to do with the property. the contact number is Austrian and none answered the phone. the address is spelled incorrectly so we couldn’t locate it on the GPS. The supposed wifi everywhere was no where not I. the room or at the pool. It said daily housekeeping. that did t happen. the phone reception was poor so wit no internet it was hard to use any form of communication. just getting in the property was difficult, when we eventually stumble on it. if it hadn’t been for a guest walking down the drive to the locked gates, she made phone calls and got us in via the groundsman who then handed us the key. we had no communications as to how we would get it. all in all a very poor experience on a place that has so much going for it.

We really enjoyed the view, it was very beautiful! This is a place to book when you're looking for a place for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle.

Taking a shower was difficult, because it was hard to regulate the water temperature. It was either too hot or too cold. In addition the water perssure was also very low.

Accommodation was ok, location is amazing, full view over Tropea, in a private community up on the hill (car is a must here). The apartment is small but cozy and it has everything that you may need, fully equipped small kitchen and a small washing machine. Pool of complex is a nice addition, same for the gardens.

There were a few small cleaning issues when we arrived and no soap was provided but we managed. Host offered to fix it next day.

The property has one of the best sunset views as it is a higher up in de mountains. The kitchen is well equiped and the outside area is nice. We had some issues with dogs following us around and barking in the morning, but the owner fixed it for us on the second day.

Note that the appartment is part of the hotel Marasusa. We travelled in october 2020, and the hotel itself was closed and completely empty. Maybe because of low season or Covid 19. We were the only ones there, so it felt a little strange. Also the appartment is not as clean as in the pictures.

The interior design, facilities and cosiness of this apartment are far beyond what is normally offered in holiday homes in Italy, and particularly at this very fair price! Instead of minimalistic oldish furniture and equipment, we were surprised to find extremely well equipped and fully functioning kitchen, TV in each room, air condition, fridge, washing machine, wifi, DVD and books etc, litteraly everything that you might ever need for a great and relaxing vacation. Definitely to recommend to people who love cooking. Every detail in this cosy place is made with a great taste and care from the side of the owners: a nice young couple with whom we have communicated easily and with pleasure. And this is not all! What makes this house a very particular and not-to-miss location is the breathtaking panoramic view which you can enjoy all day long looking at Tropea and its multiple beaches, Ginostra and the Eaolic islands. In the evening you can enjoy the picturesque sunsets over the sea right from the terrace and if you are early morning bird, the sunrise over the hills from the living room. During our stay we could also see rainbows and a waterfall at that very location! This, coupled with the excellent beaches (a lot of options available) and cristal clear waters of the sea, make this place unforgettable. We will definitely return.
