I loved everything! From Claudia who had been super accommodating, nice and helpful till the location and nice balcony. Not to mention the breakfast, which you may take to your balcony - everything fresh, nicely served and variety (eggs, omelette, fruits and every day fresh pastries cooked by the owner. It was very sad to leave this beautiful sunsets and Tropea

American couple in our 60's visiting Tropea for the first time.
First of all, Claudia the manager is super helpful and always presented her fresh baked goodies every morning to us. The staff was very nice and it was clean. Great location in town and the seaview was a vision from heaven. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Also they helped us arrange a Taxi to the airport.
Also there was a beach umbrella and beach towels for us to use in our room.
Only thing to know is that there are steps to get into the B&B rooms (no elevator). However, Claudia helped us get our bags in and our of the B&B, very hospitable.

This was one of my favorite places to stay in Italy. The location is perfect, close to the beach and all the restaurants. It is walking distance to the train station. Claudia, the host is so helpful and accommodating. Breakfasts are simple yet delicious and as a celiac, I was made a special cake daily and offered extra treats/fruit etc. The rooms are large, clean and well equipped, they even provide an umbrella and beach towels! We really loved this accomodation.

Location was amazing and view from the room was great. Accommodation had working aircon and the room was very clean - they also provided beach towels and umbrella.

The location of the property was amazing, walking distance to the beach and all the restaurants were very close by. View was insane. Staff were very friendly and happy to help. Room was comfortable and cleaning services were offered each day.
Maybe access to a washing machine/dryer and ironing board would’ve been helpful for a longer stay.

Il Duca was an amazing place to stay. Claudia was so helpful and lovely my whole stay. The room was spacious and clean and modern. The location is unbelievable and had an amazing view of the water/town. The owner also owns a restaurant which they offered a discount which was beautiful. Couldn’t recommend this place enough!
The only thing I didn’t like was the stairs to take my luggage up but I was pre-warned and wasn’t too high.

Perfect location, great aircon and sunset drinks on the balcony was a highlight! Lovely and accomodating staff. I highly recommend this apartment for your Tropea stay.

The view from the balcony is beautiful. The proximity to restaurants and bars was fantastic. The staff was helpful with all requests and pleasant with all communication. Breakfast was amazing too.

Our balcony was amazing with views of both the water and the town below! Claudia was a fantastic host and really went out of her way to ensure our stay was memorable! the train was also just a 9 minute walk away.

Great location right at the entrance of the historic city Center. Probably one of the best views of Tropea where you can have your breakfast with the view on the sea and the famous chiesa. Although very central it was not loud at the evening, night or morning.
Claudia who manages the B&B was very very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast includes real homemade italian cakes and cookies from the owner of the B&B.
100% recommended.

Having the room across from breakfast room made mornings noisy. The stairs were difficult to transverse several times daily. Bathroom had sewer smell.

The location can’t be beat. The room is super clean, really well maintained and Claudia is amazing. She is so genuinely friendly and helpful that you feel right at home. We can’t recommend Il Duca enough.

Claudia went above and beyond - she didn’t know what else to do to please you. Very helpful and nice! helped me with suitcase going up stairs. Breakfast was generous and delicious! the mattress and pillows were fantastic!

Claudia was very welcoming, super responsive and helped us with everything we needed. The size of the rooms, the cleanliness, the view from the balcony... everything was great! The location was perfect too - 5 min from the beach and right in the heart of the city.

Claudia was so helpful to begin with! The location was incredible- right at the steps to the beach and with a fabulous view. The room itself was clean, with all facilities required, and had a very comfortable bed. Ee were provided with a cool box and umbrella to take to the beach which was also very helpful.

Wow, what a beautiful room with an unbeatable view! In the heart of stunning Tropea (but not at all noisy) we enjoyed the most wonderful stay and will certainly return. Claudia and Signora Franca made us very welcome with a lovely home made breakfast and assistance with whatever we needed. Our room was absolutely lovely and spotlessly clean plus an excellent shower. The terrace view…..morning or evening…..stunning!

amazing view from our terrace and excellent location right in the centre! the staff are all so lovely and the breakfast in the morning thats included is incredible!! freshly made croissants and sweets were some of the best we’ve had!
the stairs were a bit tricky with heavy luggage but the staff were very helpful!
