The location is excellent. Shops and restaurants on your door step, Finikoudes and Mackenzie within walkable distance too, and car hire available close to apartment. Such a fantastic location for me as a young family and with a disabled mum. The bedding was fresh. We had juice, milk, bread and basic cleaning items provided upon arrival which was really nice. The management team are very helpful and are quick to respond when f you have a question or an issue. I will absolutely use this apartment again.

This is my second stay at the apartment and I’m sad to see it in a bit of disrepair. Upon arrival the dishwasher was unbalanced and leaning back making it unusable and unsafe. They came and repaired it straight away but this should have been dealt with before arrival. The apartment was not clean. Under the beds was full of dust and fluff. The shower was full of hair and dirt from previous guests. The couch could do with a deep clean and the actual pillow covers are showing signs of wear with black/greying patches from use, the blinds have squashed bugs or some sort of dirt all over them. Allot of cobwebs and dead bugs in corners by windows. The bathroom could do with a new bin as it’s a bit grim. And overall the shower really needs a deep clean as mold is appearing in the grout and is very orange from use. By the fridge you can see clumps of hair, fluff and dirt. Also certain walls are showing damp in the dining kitchen area and kids room as the plaster is bubbled and coming away from the wall. In the main bedroom there seems to have a water leak as there is a pink/orange water stain coming through on the head side of the bed on the ceiling above. For such a lovely apartment I don’t feel it’s been maintained very well which is such a shame. We will be booking a third trip next year to the apartment and hope that improvements have been made. Due to the location the cost of the apartment is on the high end, so I would expect the apartments aesthetics to also meet high standards of expected guest, all be it even basic cleaning standards. It wouldn't cost much to replace the blinds, couch covers or bin in bathroom.

Lack of sunbeds

Before arrival, there was plenty of communication and everything went well. There was a welcome pack with some bread, water, tea and coffee and a nice bottle of wine. Nice touch. The apartment is wonderfully located right by the beach with plenty of mini markets, restaurants, coffee places and ice cream parlours nearby. The beds were hard, which I happen to like, so I slept well. The bathroom was clean and there were toiletries free of charge. There were plenty of extra towels and bedding. I asked if they could install a safe as there wasn’t one, and that was done almost immediately. The sofa was comfortable, as were the chairs around the dining table. However, the plastic patio furniture was old and the table broken in a couple of places. There were no cushions for the plastic chairs. It would also have been nice to have some sun loungers and a parasol. It was not very comfortable sitting out there, which is a shame as the terrace was large with amazing views of the beach. The kitchen had all the appliances you might need, but it wasn’t very well equipped. It didn’t have a chopping board for one thing. I’m sure if I’d asked they would have brought one over though. There were only two place mats which was a bit strange in an accommodation that can take 4 people. All in all it was a great place. You really can’t beat the location! I loved my stay and I felt that it was easy to get quick response to any queries. That’s a big plus in my book. I would absolutely recommend staying there, and I may well return if I go to Larnaca again.

I want to be really fair and detailed with my review. I hope more people will do it, so when looking for a new vacation spot, we all have a confident choice to make. First off, I really appreciated that although someone at their office said the prepayment had to be made, the owner has made an exception for us because our credit card issuer had an online security measure prevention implemented. That was really helpful. We were allowed to early check in with no asking or additional charge. Also we were given a cot for the baby at no charge, although the ad specified 10E per night. Really nice touch. Directions from the airport immaculate- distance under 15minutes. I really liked that it was truly renovated, clean, had every small and large appliance needed. We were welcomed with the arrival stocked fridge necessities so that we wouldn’t go hungry. That was really nice. Bath - new (I’m very anal about baths, they need to be spotless). Toiletries free. A/C in most of the areas. Location perfect! Just at the beach and nice cream shop. Quiet building. Nice tenants. View of spectacular beach.

We arrived to see that our designated parking space was underneath a devastated roof. So it was inaccessible. We notified the owner, parked in a different spot, however, had to move the car quite frequently. The alternative options from the owner at first convenient turned out to be unavailable when we needed it. Later parking options were across the street at a public day parking lot, where with 4 kids crossing the street few times a day, was a bit risky and greatly inconvenient. The owner promised the repair on the 2nd day of our stay. But it did not happen until the day before our departure, thus we never got park in our spot. But we were able to figure this out on our own. However - we wish this was never an issue. Second thing - I wish we had access to our apartment from the front not only from the back. It was a long run each time. We never got the key to the front door of the building. Third, we didn’t get the key to the beach gate, although other tenants had it, it would also make the beach trip faster and safer for the kids. Additional- I heard and read numerous reviews on infestations in Cyprus. There were ants in the patio and by the front door. But nothing that we couldn’t deal with. On the third day, my husband found a big cockroach in the bathroom. Only one. Happily he didn’t share this news with me until we left. It was a Lone Ranger. ☺️ So my overall score would have been a 10 even with the lack of the keys, if it weren’t for the parking spot.
