Die Unterkunft an sich ist bereits etwas wirklich besonderes: Eine historische Villa mit ursprünglichem historischem Mobiliar und Dekoration inmitten einem wunderschönen Garten. Die ausgesprochen großen Zimmer sind antik möbliert und lassen dennoch keine Wünsche nach moderner Annehmlichkeit offen. Die Gastgeber sind ausdrücklich bemüht, freundlich und sehr persönlich. Gerne wird einem eine kleine Führung durch das Haus gegeben mit dem die Gastgeberin familiär verbunden ist. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich und reichhaltig. Schließlich ist der Preis auch ausgesprochen fair!

Il colazione era benissimo! La sala, il cibo, e la musica ! In particolarmente facendo la pizza con le ragazze e suoi mama. E una sorpresa, bella sorpresa! E i cani dappertutto!

Das Appartement hat viel Platz geboten und war authentisch eingerichtet. Das gesamte Anwesen ist schön angelegt und gepflegt. Die Hausherrin hat uns persönlich eine Hausführung gegeben. Am Abend konnten wir bei einem vorab reservierten Abendessen wie die "Hohe Herrschaft" essen.

Der Speiseraum war beim Frühstück etwas kalt (wir waren im Dezember dort). Beim Abendessen wurde dafür mit einem großen Kamin stimmmungsvoll geheizt.

- location suggestiva - la Suite é enorme, con 4 letti, un corridoione e 1 bagno con vasca idromassaggio e cabina doccia doppia. - c’è un percorso per bambini, il Bosco degli Elfi, finemente piantumato, con archi, passaggi incantevoli e giochi divertenti - staff accogliente ed attenta alle richieste - buona colazione con gestione intelligente e antispreco (personalmente preferisco chiedere tutto ciò che è finito ed avere fresco invece di cumuli di cibo al buffet che poi non viene consumato e finisce ad essere buttato)

- la strada dal parcheggio è buio - 5 Euro per la visita guidata della fattoria didattica - il bosco degli elfi dopo la pioggia diventa pericoloso in alcuni punti, percorso con rischio di scivolate sui sassi e tronchi per grandi e piccini. - armadi con della roba a caso della proprietà, buttati dentro, articoli vari per la colazione e per le pulizie, un materasso avanzato da chi sa dove

Gute Lage, ca 10 Autominuten vom Zentrum von Bassano entfernt (dort gibt es einen kostenlosen Parkplatz!) Die Villa ist ein beeindruckendes historisches Gebäude, jedes authentische Detail ist liebevoll platziert, man spürt die Geschichte des Hauses! Wunderschöner Hof und Garten, die Locanda/Gasthaus im Keller mit offenem Kamin sehr gemütlich. Hier gibt's Frühstück und Dinner mit Weinverkostung. Carlotta, die Gastgeberin, ist super freundlich - alles in allem ein Erlebnis!

Villa Stecchini is a fantastic example of combining the feeling of being in old world Italy with being in a botique hotel. We enjoyed a glass of prosecco at check-in and took in the antique artwork and furniture that are all over the villa (and really make it special). There are horses, dogs, goats, ducks, and even a pig on the property which add to the feeling of being in a country Villa. There is also a restaurant on the property which shows off the massive wine cellar. It was extremely charming and we had a great 4-course dinner there. Carlotta, the proprietor, is amazing. She's extremely warm and welcoming and was helpful in recommending good hikes in the area and just general local knowledge. You can tell she really cares about the guests and the Villa and does everything with care and attention. Bonus: best wifi I had of all the places I stayed in Italy.

Nothing to complain about. We enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely come back on our next trip to Bassano del Grappa.

Our stay at Villa Stecchini exceeded our expectations. This beautiful villa is located on stunning grounds and run with great love by Carlotta, the most helpful and friendly host we have ever had the pleasure to meet. No request was too much and she really ensured that we had the best possible stay. Our room was very spacious and stylish and had an incredible view of the picturesque pool and garden. Breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the homemade dinner served on the terrace overlooking the magnificent grounds. We look back to two unforgettable days in this fantastic idyll with a delightful host and already look forward to returning next year.

Facinating history of the villa and the oweners' family, lovely host Carlotta, beautiful garden, nice breakfast. The property is trully dog friendly.

Guest rooms are situated on the second floor. There is no elevator, so it might be inconvenient for those with bulky or/and heavy luggage.

Breakfast was made up of local ingredients in an idyllic setting. Glororious faded antiquity. Staff were all charming.

The historical villa is very pretty and well conserved, close to the city and a lot of tourist attractions. The owner is very nice, always available to help you out. The breakfast was very good and we also had a good wine from the locanda. The room we stayed in was absolutely stunning, with view over the huge yard, quiet and comfortable.

It was an authentic, friendly, warm ambiente. The villa is full of old art and furniture, we felt like living in a museum! Everyone did everything to make us as happy as possible! We had exquisite wine and best dishes. there was absolutely nothing missing at all. Thanx Carlotta and everyone working there, for the fabulous time we had at the villa Stecchini! looking forward to come back again! Matt and Katja
