clean bed. enough space in the room

it’s a house where other people live that you share the toilet and bathroom with. they don’t like airbnb people, so you’re actually not very welcome. I got a very long description of the rules of the house. including being very quiet in the night (which isn’t weird) but also using the normal shower which didn’t have any water pressure.

The bedroom had basic amenities. The bed in my room was right beside the toilet which meant that when fellow guests used the toilet it would wake me up with loud noises as the bed should not be this close to the toilet. I was unable to shower as the amenities where far from hygienic. The worst part here was the property was not willing to change my room or offer me anything in regards to a refund. I was suppose to stay 3 nights but could only stick it out two nights before booking a proper hotel, again I got zero refund and the owner will not will not pick up their phone. The final nail in the coffin was when the owner changed my booking to a cancellation/ no show which is evidently false only to stop me being able to do a review however after calling booking.com support they got this changed. I am not one to normally leave reviews however I would not he doing a duty of service to fellow travellers if I allowed you to consider staying here so under no circumstance even consider staying or supporting this place or you will regret it!

It was a perfect city break stay for a group of friends. We took 2 out of 3 rooms at the property. One bedroom and one toilet to share. Rooms were clean and descent size. We were able to use kitchen and a fridge so breakfast was not a problem ( local shops 3 mins walk and Tesco 5 mi utes walk). 3 minutes walk to Underground and short distance to the citu centre. We were able to leave our bags in the morning before check in which was great. Communication with the host was excellent! Great value for the price.

Perfect location for tourists. Room was of good size with all basic amenities. Having a kitchen was very useful.

very comfortable and clean, they provided us with everything we needed. lovely room, quiet area and very close to the tower bridge (about 10 minutes walk). I would stay again!

Little apartment very close to underground. Easy to find, easy to check-in and leave. There is a Sainsberry not far from apartment. so no problem with breakfast or some shopping. Apartment is clean, there is Wi-Fi, shower and towels.

The house is quite old so very noisy. Sounds from toilet and other rooms could bother you.

The room was ok as it was a last minute booking.

Really upset with the staff who gave us bad directions to get to the room, including the wrong name of the underground station. We had hoped for clearer step-by-step directions getting from Heathrow Airport to the room but we were given a short answer, just the name of the station and it was wrong. Such incompetence costs the guests money and is unacceptable. On top of that, we had read about transport strikes on our day of arrival and the staff who responded to our request for alternative transport route was unhelpful. All of the communications are traceable if you need verification.

Good location and pleasant owners, comfortable beds.

Decor in need of attention and cleaning. Bathroom and toilet separate.

The facilities were not good in the bathroom and not clean. Security is an issue here- the policy of not locking the outer door was not good. No communication other than whatsapp messages. Overall this was disappointing and not recommended if travelling alone.

the house was a bit old but I guess it’s normal for London especially when you stay central.

The location was great. Shops, bus and metro station were close by. The host was really nice and helpful.

The bathroom could have been a cleaner.

For me the location was just right. To be able to come and go was very good. Not to noisy both in and out. The shower was good lots of hot water. Kitchen facility good.

I think that it could be a little cleaner, just a little grubby.

The owner was very helpful and welcoming and provided all necessary instructions. the room is exactly like the photos and as the comments describe it.

there seems to be other people living there which makes it awkward and a little uncomfortable because we were afraid of being too noisy.

I wasn’t aware it was a room in a shared property with shared bathroom and toilet. Although it was clean it was in need of work, the shower was nosey and not very good. we felt we weren’t really suppose to be there. the host was very good at messaging and keeping us up to date.

mold and stains in bathroom. felt like we were staying in a spare room at someones house. smelt on entry (strong cooking smells and toilet smells). Bathroom was not at a standard expected for paying guests. hard bed. had to send photo of ID to property owner. would not accept PIN from Bookings.

Good location with Bermondsey tube station.

The place was quite outdated and worn. Worn laminate and carpet, creaky floors and shared bathroom.

they completely ignore you and won’t tell you the address until you send a photo of your ID. this is a bedroom in someone’s house… you have to share the kitchen and toilet and a mouldy broken shower with an unknown number of other guests which isn’t covid safe and is not mentioned in the listing, which claims you have a microwave, kettle etc in the room…
