through the years we have stayed in some lovely homes (with the exception of one),this was the best. The owners did a wonderful job of thinking and providing the needs of renters.Forexample, every bedroom had its own TV.The whole house was exceptionally clean. The location (for us) was perfect! My daughter and granddaughterwalked to town every day.Nice viewsfrom upper decks. At 88 I was very careful on the multitude of stairs, but I decided it was good exercize.It would not be acceptable for someonewho needed a walker for instance. We would definitely come back!!

When arriving at the Breen Real Estate office, the checking process was super easy and the staff extremely helpful. They made sure we were aware of how to contact them should we need anything and let us know about the area.
The house was great. Nice, clean, great view from the multiple decks. All as advertised. Plenty of room and multiple areas to hang out. Kitchen was very nice and had all that we needed. Beds were super comfortable. Looking forward to staying there again.

We (mom, dad, 19yo daughter, 2 dogs) had a fantastic end-of-year getaway at the Hartford House! We've been coming to Cambria for 25 years and always stay in a vacation rental. We had never stayed in this part of town before. We loved the location! It was so great to be able to walk down the hill to coffee, shops, and restaurants. We even walked to Moonstone Beach and the boardwalk one morning and it was fantastic! Plus you could see the ocean from the great decks they have on the town-side of the house. There are A LOT of stairs in the house - especially if you're using the guest loft above the garage. Also, taking the dogs outside was always a bit of an adventure - especially for our older dog who kept slipping on the hardwood floors. She spent the whole vacation on the main level because she couldn't manage the stairs without falling. The fireplaces in the living room and main bedroom are great. Plus having TVs in the living room and both bedrooms was a nice touch. Kitchen was well equipped though we didn't do much cooking with all the great restaurants Cambria has to offer. (Especially Linn's for breakfast, lunch, and baked treats!) Couches and beds were comfortable - though the display on the sleep number bed remote in the main bedroom was broken so it took a little guesswork to get it adjusted. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed the vacation rental. Home nicely cleaned, plenty of room, kitchen well stocked. Played ping pong, took walks along Moonstone Beach, shopping and great restaurants. The home has many stairs so be prepared to go up and down stairs. We will rent again in the future.

This is a great house if you want to be very close to Main Street. We enjoyed that aspect -- a minute to Moonstone Beach, a couple minutes to the north bluff trail at Fiscalini Ranch Preserve. If you want to be on the ocean this is not the place as it is above town a couple of blocks. I thought the home coffee set up could be a little better, maybe a french press; and some condiments like sugar could have been useful. Finally they have a wonderful refrigerator but no ice maker. My brother and I enjoyed our stay very much.

Breen House was spacious and decorated very nicely. Everything was very clean. Four gals shared house so 4 beds were perfect. Didn't know "Guest house" was thru garage door and up steep flight of stairs but wasn't a problem. Nice surprise to find it had it's own kitchen as well as bathroom and the 2 of us who shared it loved the skylight. Didn't mind reusing towels but 2 per guest would have been nice (stay wasn't lng enough to do laundry) Overall, we were very pleased with Breen House and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Kitchen could have had a more varied selection of dinnerware ( some smaller glasses and stemware) Linen supplies n kitchen were just adequate. Dishwasher soap was inadequate. Some areas in kitchen needed more cleaning( corner lazy Susan cabinet) Bedrooms/bathrooms were well supplied and comfortable. Living spaces also comfortable and enjoyable.

It was clean and the Breen staff was very responsive and professional. The house decor and finishes were a little “tired”, and the location too near rte1, so we had car noise. Next time, we will select something a little closer to woods and beach.

Hartford House is really nice, particularly the guest house for the young adults. The kitchen is well appointed and the furniture is comfortable. The ping pong table was a treat as were the views from the balconies. It was simple to pop down to the Village and explore all the shops and eateries. We, and our dog had a great time!

We chose this house so that our extended family could have space to spread out and be together. There were beautiful views of the sunset toward the ocean and birds landing in the tops of trees. It was also in a perfect location to explore the surrounding area. On walks In the neighborhood we found deer, turkeys and foxes. We would return.

Cambria Long Weekend Rental
Great location on the hills, house was bright in a very quiet neighborhood. Walking distance to Main Street, made it very convenient. House has a lot of stairs, so may not be suitable for the elderly or families with small children. Garage door is standard height for sedans & SUVs, but too low for tall vans. Plenty of parking on the car port in front of house. Property Management top notch in customer service, providing updates on billing, house availability & check in. We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely come back.

Everyone was very happy with the home
We were all 100% satisfied with the home. Nothing is ever completely perfect, so there were a couple of notables that could be improved. The coffee maker needs to be replaced - doesn't really work unless you don't mind waiting 4 - 6 hours for a cup of coffee - we substituted hot water via the provided tea kettle pour over and that worked just fine. The guest room accessed through the garage would be better with at least one queen in the room instead of the two twins. Other than that - lots of laughter, super comfortable, kitchen is awesome, and lastly our "ping pong" competition was a big highlight for us.

Three bedrooms each on a different floor. Lots of privacy. Good location close to town up a hill. The hill gave our legs a good workout but also an enhanced view. Good kitchen and living area. Thanks
