I absolutely loved the attention to details in the room. Modern yet traditional.
The bed and pillows were comfy and you had the option to change the pillows if they were too soft or hard.
I loved that the W.C was separate from the shower and the towels were actually in a cabinet under the sink.
Every detail in regards to accommodation was there, for example if you forgot your phone charger the front desk had you covered. Room service 24/7. The wait staff at the Bistro Richard were all so friendly and attentive. The bar tender in the lounge...and the lounge itself...the decor...fantastic and uplifting .
The walk from parking to reception ...needs to be a bit more clearly marked.

Het was een verrassing voor mij moeder, ze was enorm enthousiast en heeft er echt van genoten. Kamer, ligging, personeel, alles vond ze voortreffelijk.

Das Schloss für sich ist wunderbar,romantisch! Das Zimmer war sehr stilvoll,gemütlich. Das Dinner im Bistro war qualitativ sehr gut.
Da das Restaurant So-Mo-Di geschlossen ist,bleibt das Bistro zum Essen. Ich finde das Bistro von der Räumlichkeit,von der Einrichtung wenig einladend.Während des Abendessens störte der Lärm im vollbesetzten Raum.Zu einem Weihnachtsmenu hätte ich mir doch auch eine Tischdecke statt Plastik Sets gewünscht.

Fantastic little castle stay. We enjoyed the private spa facilities and the rooms were great and comfy. Staff were all very friendly.
The glass door for the bathroom lacked privacy.

De bistro Richard is iedere keer opnieuw een voltreffer. Zeer aangename uitbater, zeer lekker eten, top !
Mss belangrijk bij het boeken van de kamer aangeven of het in de commandeurswoning is of op het kasteel

Zeer comfortabele kamers in een echt kasteel, uitstekend ontbijt, supervriendelijk personeel. Zeer vlot bereikbaar.
Hopelijk komt er snel een veilige fietsenstalling, want ik zou graag eens terugkomen voor een fietsweekend als de bloesems in bloei staan!

Perfect setting for a romantic getaway. Amazing food at Aurum and great breakfast in the bistro. Friendly staff, very comfortable beds. Nice "instagramable" chapels to visit nearby.

the bed is very comfortable, beautiful room and environment
there is open bottle of beer and used shampoo in our room, need to pay more attention to the detail of cleaning.

We liked the ambience. We liked the possibility to enjoy a meal at the 1* restaurant and we enjoyed meeting the chef Gary Kirchens. We liked the quiet, well decorated room. In all we stayed 3 days longer than originally planned.
Access to the Internet was below our expectation. Speed was slow and the over all streaming was poor considered the standard of the hotel.

The breakfast was lovely. Very nice service and good selection. Complementary champagne on the buffet! The castle is gorgeous! Everything was beautiful and new. The bistro’s food was fabulous.
We only came for Sunday night and had wanted to have a drink in the bar but it wasn’t open because the staff of the restaurant, which wasn’t open for Sunday dinner, also ran the bar and they were off duty. I think they should have additional personnel to keep the bar open, even if just to pour a glass of wine or beer.

Michelin Star restaurant was apparently closed post Christmas.

The renovated castle is amazing. The restaurant (bistro) has very tasty dishes. You can also rent an e-bike to see the area around the property. There is also a private wellness but better to book it well ahead.
The wellness facility is private (which is good), but it was almost fully booked upon our arrival. Therefore we could only use it for only one late slot in the last evening before we leave (during our three night stay). The system should be organised so that there are at least a few slots available when guests arrive.
