Lovely weather while we were there.

Location was good and being dog friendly and fenced well was very good. The lounge area got nice afternoon sun.

Seemed pretty tired with wall paper splitting and peeling in bedrooms.

Might stay again if little improvements are made.

Easy Access. Just be careful not to lock yourself out when leaving the property. Back door might required maintenance. Appears to be damaged. Owners provided firewood which help on the cold nights.

Shower drain got blocked during stay. But owners were quick to get it fixed. Netflix account did not work. Barbeque caused a lot of flare ups as it was very dirty. Wood burner might need updating.

Overall, great value for money and would recommend.

Great location, very clean and tidy. Plenty of heating options available and cottage was quick to warm up. Hosts very helpful and quick to reply to message prior to stay. Great base for a weekend in Twizel with the family.

No major problems or dislikes, just a couple of things we noticed. There didn’t appear to be any microwave safe dishes to use in the provided microwave when cooking. Was a little surprised at no electric blankets on the beds considering how cold it gets there in winter but as previously stated, plenty of heating options available to take the chill off the rooms so not a big deal.

what a great little house. a real feeling of comfort and home. loved the fact that there was tea coffee and sugar and laundry if needed.

Superb

The cottage is a bit old but super comfy and with the heat pump and fire place you can stay super warm. It was the perfect place for us to stay after spending the day in Mount Cook. Perfect for a family. Good equipement and really good communication for a self check-in.

There were some bugs in the room, but I think it's natural and inevitable. This does not affect the overall quality of stay.

Would not recommend this property as it needs some basic attention to improve it to just an acceptable standard.

spacious for us as a couple

Carpets, dining room chairs, cloth on lamp table dirty. Generally the whole house was old and grubby. Windows dirty, washing machine filter black and machine very grubby. House had an unpleasant odour when we walked in. Pet friendly ? No contact type check in so we did not meet the owner. “description under photos irrelevant.”

good stay if this is your last option, not value for money though

the location was perfect and the owners were very nice. check in check out wasnt a hassle and fresh towels and hot water was available.

the property was very old and the toilet and bathroom wasn’t super clean. the property advert on booking.com did not have any pictures of the bathroom and toilet and hence it was deceiving.

Cosy, everything you need!

Lovely little cottage with everything you need. The owners have thought of everything. We cooked our own meal and needed nothing. Great water pressure in the bathroom which was large and perfectly clean. Free Netflix was a bonus!

Nothing. But I think if I were the owner I would celebrate the retro feel of this lovely little home and do it up with a little retro 1950s or 1960s interior to match the age of the little cottage, whilst retaining the existing modern facilities like TV and kitchen stuff.

I would never recommend anyone to stay at this property as it is very dirty and unhygienic for young families

sorry, we did not like the property at all. we ended up cancelling the property once we entered it, however the property owner did not return the money neither did booking.com.

unhygienic utensils, dirty, ripped wall papers, strained carpets and sofas, so much rubbish around the garage and backyard, weeds everywhere , moreover there are a lot of fake reviews on the website, which are very deceiving.

I think can find a lot of better accommodation in the area.

The beds are very comfy and clean. There is washing machine in the house. Good wifi and Netflix

The sofa and the dining chairs have stains on them. The house looks old and the lights in the living room are very dim.
