Small rustic cottage with garden
Questo cottage in legno è stato costruito nel 1914. Fu una delle prime case costruite sulla collina sopra Stinson Beach. È una costruzione a parete singola (significato, non isolata) ma ha un buon riscaldamento ad aria forzata e un camino autoportante.
Ci sono due stanze. Una camera da letto con un letto matrimoniale e l'altra camera una cucina open space, sala da pranzo e soggiorno. Tutta la casa è piuttosto piccola ma ha un'atmosfera spaziosa. È un posto accogliente con mobili confortevoli. Perfetto per due persone.

Ha un negozio di alimentari, una libreria, un negozio di surf che noleggia tavole da surf e mute, un'attività di noleggio di kayak. e ci sono alcune boutique, una galleria, tre ristoranti e una biblioteca. Si prega di essere consapevoli del fatto che non ci sono stazioni di servizio per dieci miglia, quindi assicurarsi di fare il pieno prima di venire sopra la collina.

This was our second stay at the cottage and we enjoyed it again. It is very comfortable and well appointed with an artist’s decor. The walk to Stinson is easy (though a hill) and we took many walks. It is a very peaceful place to stay and unwind. We loved it.

The property was beautiful and artistically decorated. We really appreciated that the home maintains it 1914 roots, but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Tess is a gracious hostess with interesting historic knowledge of the area as her family has a long history in Stinson. The art kept us talking and continually discovering new details. Everything was perfect and first time not staying directly on the beach, but we didn’t miss the wind and cold that comes with that. The garden was stunning and the bonus was Emma and Oliver. Short walk to beach and restaurants. Hope to come back soon.

We loved everyone about our stay. The house is beautifully decorated, the town and area is naturally beautiful and quirky. Tess was a sweet host and easily reached if needed. The hot tub is perfect as that fog rolls in. Honestly didn’t want to review because we want to keep it a secret.

We found this light-filled cottage with its lovely courtyard garden and hot tub a relaxing and enchantung retreat. Great access to beach and trails and a convenient hub for jaunts into the city or up to Napa/Sonoma so long as you are good with driving the winding mountain roads.

I had such a lovely stay at Tess’ cottage, easily my favorite stay anywhere. Just a short walk down to town (5-7 min), and the most beautiful garden and peaceful setting inside and outside of the cottage. The decor, furnishings and especially the bed were amazing! I had everything I needed. My daughters were staying nearby and we read and cooked meals at the cottage and had a wonderful time.

This property is perfect for a solo or couples trip. There is a lovely garden and trees to greet you and as you step inside the gate. The house has a long outside porch the run of the house perfect for having morning coffee at the little table or laying on the daybed and reading. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated with layers of art. Great TV set up with cozy blankets. The bed was a cloud and the blankets were perfect. My favorite part was the hot tub. Located under a tree with a view of the mountains it was so relaxing night or day. The owner was communicative and checked in without being intrusive. I had the most magical stay.

My partner and I loved the wonderful eclectic and cozy spot. It was unusually cold and windy in Stinson, so we pretty much just enjoyed the sweet nest. Cooked in, watched movies, and used the hot tub once. Very clean, comfortable and central to the local store and also park side. Will plan to retiren … so much character!

I loved it I look forward to going back. The cleanliness could be a little better. Kitchen could be a little better equipped. Fire pit outside is a nice idea there just isn't any working furniture to sit on. The on-site contact phone was never working. Host was readily available to us through messaging. Absolutely loved the property and the cottage.

The decor and amenities were wonderful. Bed was super comfy, hot tub is perfect for two. It was an overall amazing experience and I would love to rebook here in the future. Very close to the beach. Fire pit outside and wood stove inside.

The cottage is charming and we'll equipped. It is, as promised, "rustic" but in the best way imaginable. Location is great, if you don't mind huffing up a hill (we didn't) and the garden is wonderful. Highly recommended.

Beautiful cottage right in the heart of Stinson Beach! Location was perfect - just a short walk to town/beach. The cottage is magical, not only did it have everything we needed but was so charmingly adorned - everything from the fixtures to silverware and art made you feel like you were escaping to a whimsical and inspiring place. I don’t feel like the listing or this review does the place justice. We would love to come back!

My stay was dreamy and magical with the fog in the morning and light filled afternoons. It was a quiet beautiful cottage filled with personality. Not like most rentals, this one had a personal touch. There were small mementos, sculptures, iittle paintings in every corner. It was well curated, not overwhelming -and after 2 nights I would still see something I had missed. The garden was lovely too, filled with flowers and hummingbirds. The bed was comfortable and I had everything I needed for a perfect stay.

Cute- Welcoming beach cabin. Had a lovely time in this OH so Cute diggs, decorated tastefully, comfy bed, great small kitchen and lovely garden and Hot Tub. Stayed 6 days 5 nights, had many beach walks and enjoyed doing BBQ on grill and relaxing.

This was a perfect retreat for a short stay or a long retreat. Theresa’s place was cosy, extremely comfortable and inspiring. There was plenty of room indoors and out. The accommodations were as pictured, perhaps more expansive. The gardens were lush. Access to town, market, beach and simple necessities within easy walking distance. It was a joy to stay in this dreamlike home.

This is the kind of cottage that makes you yearn for the simpler, slower lifestyle. It’s beautifully decorated, completely stocked, perfectly landscaped, and located up on a hill in beautiful Stinson Beach. It’s a scenic 10 minute walk down to the beach with some of the most beautiful coastal flora California has to offer. Theresa was very responsive and sweet. We enjoyed the hot tub during the cool coastal evenings. I hope to return frequently to this beautiful little cottage.

The ambiance of the cabin was wonderful, and felt very natural and welcoming. The garden is well-kept and beautiful. The location is convenient for hiking, walks, or just relaxing. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a weekend getaway.

I was concerned the property would feel tiny but the two rooms are very comfortable. Decor is charming and interesting but uncluttered. Garden is fantastic.

This little cottage is a slice of Heaven on earth. Leave everything behind, shut the gate, and you will find yourself in another world where time slows down (or you will!) and cutting carrots or getting tea becomes magical! The hostess thinks of every detail for your comfort and calm. Immaculate. High quality linens, towels and all - the best! Fun and interesting art everywhere, including the interesting and creative furniture. Indoor bed is SUPER comfortable. There is even a “sleeping porch” for listening to nature. This is a true “retreat spot.” Visiting is a feast for the eyes and your soul! Enjoy! And if you like to be inspired, you surely will be!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay. The cottage is cozy and close to great hiking, beach strolling, and ice cream! The hot tub is perfect after a long hike. The artwork in the cottage is awesome - you could spends hours just admiring all the wonderful pieces.

This was our second time staying at the cottage. We love it here! Owner is very friendly and hospitable, and the artist’s cottage is adorable and eclectic. The gardens are beautiful. The hot tub was just what we needed after a full day of cycling Marin County. A short walk up down the hill to the beach and restaurants — we will be back!

Our stay at this property was delightful—the garden and indoor spaces were even nicer than anticipated from the already attractive photos. The furnishings, amenities, and layout were aesthetically pleasing and thoughtful...everything felt easy in terms of moving around and using the space. Location was quiet yet accessible to town, the beach, the mountain. Would happily return, and highly recommend.
