Enjoyed the house

Our first trip to Destin and we were very happy. Proximity to public beach access is within 10-15 minute walk. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out and have their own space. Pool was awesome to have when it was too hot to stay at the beach. Plenty of items like beach chairs and toys provided for us to use. Community pool and tennis courts were also vet nice. Great communication from owners and property manager. Would stay here again!

Villa Patron is everything as advertised and more! My boyfriend and I along with a couple of our friends just spent a wonderful 9 days there and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The private pool and spa were wonderful to come home to after days spent at the golf course. Michelle is a wonderful host and incredibly easy to get ahold of. The house and pool are very nice and clean and the neighborhood is in a great location. We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Patron in Destin!

We had a great stay at this house! It was spotlessly clean, the pool was nice and clean, and the management was easy to contact. The only downside was that it was a little bit of a walk to the beach. But overall, we had a great time and would definitely recommend this house to others. One thing to note is that the loft pullout couch and bunk beds are not very comfortable for adults or teens. The mattresses are thin and made of foam board and they don't provide much support. Our 16 year old daughter was very uncomfortable sleeping on either one, so we ended up purchasing an air mattress for her to sleep on. Other than that, we had no complaints. The house was well-equipped and had everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet and clean, and we felt safe walking around. The tennis courts and community pool are nice as well. We would definitely stay here again.

Villa Patron was the most perfect getaway for our family! From the welcoming gated neighborhood, to the roomy, beautiful house with the MOST AMAZING pool and hot tub, and the PERFECT location just a short walk to the beach, and minutes away from many fabulous restaurants and shops, we couldn’t have picked a better home to stay in. Brad and Michelle, along with the property manager Shannon, were so helpful from our first questions, to prompt responses during our stay, and through our departure. The house was decorated and so well kept. We had access to everything we could need—including a great amount of beach items and towels—and a fully stocked kitchen and grill, which we utilized! The house layout was perfect for kids to have some time away for video games, for the adults to have some low-key relaxation time, and a large dining room space, perfect for many hours of cards, dominos, and board games…of course that’s just in between all of the pool time! We also loved to take short walks to the beach to enjoy the sand, ocean, or amazing sunsets. This truly was a retreat for our family and we were blown away by this rental. We look forward to coming back again and for more magical time in Destin! Thank you so much, Brad and Michelle!

Viva Villa Patron! Our family of 5 (all adults), from Chicago, stayed at Villa Patron from 3/4/23-3/11/23. The reservation process with VRBO and the owners was spot-on. Owners were very prompt to answer any questions I had. This was our first VRBO rental and the process was very smooth. Upon arrival at Villa Patron, the outside and inside of the house exceeded our expectations. The house was very clean, had everything we needed, and the kitchen was well-stocked with dishes, glasses, and all things needed to cook. Everything we could think of was there. The outdoor pool and hot tub were amazing!!! This was one of the main reasons we picked Villa Patron. Our family spent most nights enjoying the hot tub and due to the time of year in Florida, in our opinion, the heater was needed. There was a little glitch with the heater for the last two days of our stay, through no fault of the owner or the property manager, Shannon, (who, by the way, was absolutely spot-on with recommendations for dinners, and to our every text and need! She's a gem!), so our 5+ stars still stands. Due to the glitch, the owner made it right by offering money back. It did not, in any way, affect our trip at all, other than us just being disappointed we couldn't have heat in the hot tub/pool the last two days. Without it, we couldn't really use the hot tub which we thoroughly enjoyed the earlier part of the week. The back yard is beautiful. Landscaping is well-kept, and in looking around at other back yards in close proximity, Villa Patron was the best in our opinion. The beach is within walking distance, around 10 minutes, and is one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever been on. Our family elected not to rent a golf cart and it was not a problem for us. The exercise did us good! We used the beach cart that was provided, as well as the towels, along with the umbrella each time we went to the beach. The bedrooms were large with comfy beds, the bathrooms spotless, and there was lots of room for us to enjoy. There was no problem at all with air conditioning in the house. What a blessing to have been able to find a place like this. There were clear instructions in the house about check-in information, as well as check-out information. Very organized and very well-managed in our opinion! Would highly recommend this property to anyone with adult kids or younger kids as well. THANK YOU, Brad, Michelle, & Shannon for your hospitality! We stayed at this property last year - the changes: price went up $200/night BUT last year golf cart/ garage were included. The owner does provide details for a local golf cart rental (add $1,000 to your vacation budget). The hot tub can be heated for an additional $200/week but the hot tub twice can only be heated 2x day for 15 minutes. The actual cost of heating a hot tub is about $1.40/day…you do the math on that one. I have no problems with cameras at the front of a property…however, when you have a camera with audio feed over the back yard, private pool area…that’s extreme. We were traveling with small children and to have them (and us) recorded during our entire vacation. Don’t try to cover the cameras either, the owners apparently want a recorded birds eye view over you and your family while on vacation at all times. The property manager is sweet but will text 7am to remind you to take out the trash when there are tons of instructions given already….we didn’t put the trash out one day because there was only one bag; we then get a text that the owner was viewing their video cameras and the trash cans weren’t out.Also make sure you have your phone on you at all times, because if they are texting/calling you, it will be relentless until they get a response from you. I’m on vacation to take a break from my phone.If you do decide to stay here, bring a radio that you can turn way up so the owners can’t hear any private conversations that you may want to have while on your vacation. The 3rd floor window unit doesn’t work right and turns on/off at random times/changes modes - sometimes in the middle of the night, while beeping and waking everyone up until someone gets up and turns it off. The 2nd floor guest bathtub was out of order… we were informed of that the day we arrived and told…sorry for the inconvenience. We won’t be back - spend your money elsewhere.

It's a great house located in a great part of Destin. The house was extremely nice and clean. There are quite a few rules within the private Home Owners Association as far as trash pickup, not parking on the street overnight, etc but to be expected for a very nice house in a nice neighborhood. We would stay there again for sure. I do suggest a golf cart rental to access the beach as it was a little bit more of a walk than we wanted to do with children. Communication from the property owners and managers was excellent. The owners are highly invested in their property.

Good time

The house was beautiful and the perfect location!! Having beach towels provided was a blessing. Wish there would have been some basic essentials: toilet paper, trash bags, detergent. Pictures showed a golf cart that was not available and was hoping to use the hot tub without being charged a weekly fee. We know for next time though :)

The property was beautiful and well-maintained. Great location for us as it was less then 10 minute walk to the beach and a few minutes drive to a local Entertainment and shopping. The house Owners and the management company were very responsive.

The house was great especially the backyard with the pool and hot tub! The upstairs loft area was great for the kids. They had their own space. We didn’t have a golf cart which in my opinion is necessary. While the beach is in walking distance, if you have kids and have a lot of stuff (ice chest, boogie boards,etc) there is a cart provided, but it is a walk. I would recommend getting the golf cart, but you will want to budget for that as the prices are high during the peak summer months.

Everything was better than we expected. Owner/Property Manager were engaged and helpful. The location is within easy walking distance to the beach. The area is quiet, very quiet, despite being so close to the beach. The pool and hot tub were squeaky clean. We all had a great time but most importantly our awesomely autistic son was living his best life in “the Green House”.

We utilized the beach toys that the owner had provided on the back porch. We loved going right down the road to the beach, returning for naps (for children and sometimes adults) and hanging out poolside through the afternoon and evening. We utilized the grill onsite for hamburgers, hot dogs and steak. Enjoyed some good music in a private backyard with a beautiful pool. The home had great WiFi, TV’s in any room we needed, working washer/dryer and had a cool 3rd floor where the kids enjoyed hanging out and watching cartoons. We had some minor issues during our stay that the property manager and the owner corrected in a very prompt manner. It’s great to know they have your back while you are on vacation having a good time. Would definitely come back so we can deal with the friendly owners again and sit by the pool in the beautiful Destin sun again!

Great great property in a quiet neighborhood just steps from the beach or a short golf cart ride. Was exactly as advertised. All new finishes and furnishings. Pool and Hot Tub a great addition. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large and the loft is a great extra. Kitchen and community areas great. Would definitely stay here again.

Very nice house with the backyard pool/hot tub stealing the show. The property manager and owners were very proactive and responsive to any questions. I highly recommend this house!

Villa Patron was beautiful! Our grand-daughters loved the heated pool during the day, because it was a bit chilly this week. The adults enjoyed the pool and hot tub in the evening after dinner. The property was very clean and there was adequate bedroom space for our family. We rented a golf cart and went to the beach almost every day. The neighborhood is upscale, private, friendly, and very relaxing.

We rented this property for our spring break- this was our second year! It works great for our family of 5. The pool is great- pay for it to be heated in early March! We did miss the golf cart this year!

Loved staying at this property. The owners really care about your experience. The private pool is amazing and the community amenities are great. Highly recommend.

Cleanliness, location and amenities are a five star!! The backyard is an oasis. The property manager Shannon was amazing. The microwave quit working and within a couple hours Shannon brought us one. I had no idea how much I would enjoy the golf cart. In four minutes we were on the beach. We will definitely be back to this property!!

We loved the house, location, and proximity to the beach. The backyard was amazing with the pool and jacuzzi, very pretty. Our only complaint about this house, aside from the strict HOA, were the beds. None of us slept well.

This property was everything we expected and more. It is very clean and well maintained. Check in was a breeze. All communication was very prompt. Short ride on the golf cart to the beach that the kids loved. The beach is absolutely beautiful, lots of people but still plenty of room to have your own space. The pool in the back yard was a huge hit with everyone, loved it!! Overall this house was exactly as listed and had more than enough space for 4 adults and 4 kiddos. I would absolutely recommend this property.

We absolutely loved staying at this house. We were welcomed with a sand Pail gift basket, which was so incredibly sweet. The kids loved the candy! Our group included 4 adults, a 7 year old, a 4 year old and a 1 year old. The house easily accommodated us all. The older kids loved the loft space that had a bunk bed and tv. We enjoyed the pool daily. It was nice to have pool floats and noodles as well as pool towels provided by the house. There’s a bunch of items offered to guest in the garage. Beach chairs, umbrellas, a beach wagon, tennis rackets etc. We also really loved having the golf cart. It was a quick 3 min drive to the beach. Golf cart parking was a lot easier to find than car parking at the ‘crab trap’ beach access point. Shannon, the property manager, was super attentive to anything we needed. We appreciate all of her help! We truly enjoyed our stay and would gladly rent again!

Michelle & Brad are wonderful hosts, very responsive and pleasant interactions every step of the way. Their property manager is great too. The house is lovely and well-maintained. It is an easy location for beach access, especially with the golf cart. They had all the beach gear you need so no need to bring your own. Kids loved their pool in the backyard, a nice feature we particularly liked to keep socially-distanced.

We had a wonderful time at this Destin Villa. With 5 adults and 2 kids, there was plenty of space for our family. The location is great whether you want to walk or take a quick ride in the golf cart to the beach. Plenty of beach chairs and accessories for the beach. Relaxing by the pool was refreshing and very private. Communication between the property owner and property manager was excellent. The property manager, Shannon, was beyond exceptional! She went out of her way to answer questions and even made an evening stop to the house to assist with a question. Highly recommend this beach house!

Villa Patron quickly became one of our favorites! The living arrangement provided more than enough room for our family of 6 (4 adults and 2 young children). The kitchen had everything we needed and more. We brought our own beach gear but were pleasantly surprised to find the garage fully stocked with chairs, toys, etc. The pool/spa was enjoyed by all. We couldn’t ask for more!
