The chalet was just what we needed, clean, comfy and quiet. The location is perfect for a quick walk the the most dog friendly beach on the island and it's a perfect location for a walk on the Culver Downs. There are amazing views from the park. Very comfortable bed, and sofa. The decked area was great for the dog, she felt safe and secure and spent most of her time there. Very concise welcome pack, about the chalet with local information. It was very clean and had everything we needed, plates and glasses, basic cooking equipment, not that we used it much. It has a washing machine, but again, we did not need it. We would definitely rebook. We have used a lot of the chalets on the same park and this was one of the best.
There is a bath, but you can only fill it by running the shower into it due to the smaller water tank.
No hoover, luckily we had just had our dog groomed and is short haired but I do like to hoover on our check out, but the weather was good so the dog was almost always outside anyway!
Just to be aware of, the outside sleepers between the chalets have an oily covering which was made soft by the sun (I think) and got on the side of our dog as she spent most of her time on the decking, it was only on the last morning we noticed it.

Lovely site, always stay around this site everytime we stay on the isle of wight.. we like everything about this chalet.. very well decorated.
Only thing was there was no curtains so was very bright in early hours of the mornings. There were no towels but that wasn't a problem as we brought our own..

Location for walking dogs and having a walk. Easy to walk into Sandown. Nice pubs and restaurants there as well.

This is a lovely chalet, it’s nicely decorated with a beach theme, it’s dog friendly & really comfortable. I love the location & have stayed on this site many times.

Not enough hot water to have a relaxing bath, I always try to book a property with a bath on holiday, so this was disappointing for me, there is a shower though!
Between the 2 adjoining chalet’s, old railway sleepers have been used as a divide, in theory they are great, but in the heat the old tar that is still on them melts, it was on my dog & my dress before I realised the problem!

They need scraping & coating in some way, or it will be brought indoors & on the furnishings

What’s not to like, the chalet was clean, comfortable, quiet & close to the sea, plus it’s dog friendly!
All in all, it was a fabulous, relaxing holiday… Thanks

The Railway sleepers used outside the front door to separate the chalet boundary, were a mess in the heat. The heat made the old tar sticky, it marked one of my nice dresses & got on the dog.
***IWVacations need to take note & do something with them, or it is going to end up inside on the soft furnishings!

The little extras like the cookies in the basket left in the kitchen, the attention to detail of the decor in the property.

Both myself and husband work for the NHS so was nice to have a few days away (even though I was working in the background)
Great location for walking and clearing heads and relaxing of the few days we had off together.
Quiet site (but that was probably down to the time of year). Fresh and very clean. Small and quaint and has everything you need. Very close to the beach, short walk into the town and amusements. own parking space.
Be aware there is no WIFI at this chalet
