Had a wonderful time in Cambria. House is in a great location. Love Shamel and moonstone beach. Enjoyed wine tasting around the area.

Single level home was important to us and the house was very clean showcasing the owners delightful paintings. Its location was great for hikes on the beach and Fiscalini Ranch and close to the quaint town of Cambria. Our ten day stay was just not enough. We will definitely return

What a great few days in Cambria! My kids did not want to go home! The house was great, loved the layout and enjoyed the amazing ocean view from the front deck. Great selections of movies to pick from for movie nights and great walks down to the park or beach. We will definitely book this place again!

Stayed at tge house while replacing floors in my nearby house. Conveniently located around the corner.
My 80+ year old mother and my two dogs were comfortable there. Wonderful Sunset viewing and even a rain storm.

This place had all the amenities of home with a stunning ocean view.
We were treated to wild deer, turkeys and a huge flock of pelicans almost daily.we will definitely come back.

The home is very comfortable and has a great layout. Not only does it have an amazing ocean view from the front deck (perfect sunset location) but a gorgeous, private backyard area that is protected from the wind. Walking out the front door, you can be on the meadow trail within just a few blocks, or down at the ocean within a few blocks. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. It's a very short drive down to Main St. to all the shops and restaurants. Honestly couldn't have picked a better spot.

What can I say!? Perfect spot for us…family of four plus pup. We loved this house with amazing views of ocean, backyard lounging, deck, and nice bedrooms. We were impressed by the peaceful neighborhood, proximity to the beach, and comfort of house. Highly recommend.

What a wonderful Christmas week in Cambria.
Staying in this beautiful, cozy, clean home was perfect! It had an absolutely stunning view of the ocean vistas from the kitchen and living room.
A great location-- walking distance to Shamel Park and Fiscalini Ranch with great hiking and biking trails.
We enjoyed playing pickleball on the courts in town, walks on the beach, sitting on the balcony and watching the sunsets while sipping wine. It truly was a perfect week! . Check in process was easy. The owner was very gracious and helpful. Definitely recommend this rental.

Amazing home over the holiday weekend. We happened to be there during the worst rainstorm we had to stay in. The house was perfect to wait out the storm. We’ll definitely be back.

The house was perfect, everything we needed For a stress free Family vacation was there,
From bicycles to Binoculars to board games. We grilled on the deck with the awesome views and even saw deer in the street.

Oven was not clean and trash barrels were overflowing when we arrived so storage of a weeks worth of trash was an issue. Also no facial tissue was provided so you’ll need to bring your own. We come to Cambria 3-4 times a year and all the other homes which were less expensive provided some sort of welcome basket with wine and/or chocolates but not the case with this home. We’re on the fence if we would stay again.

We loved the location and the house was mostly great. It needs some updating, for sure. The BBQ needs to go to the dump and get a new one. We had planned to BBQ, but it was not an option. Everything stated in the listing is spot on. Perfect location, great views, 3 bedrooms 2 baths, WIFI, etc. It was very clean and well stocked. We stayed for 2 weeks and would have appreciated more "unpacking" room. Most of the drawers were filled with extra blankets and/or towels. The closet was wide open so most of stuff just got hung up. Hard to hang underwear and shorts however.
All the beds squeaked and creaked. If you are a light sleeper, you will resent your partners tossing and turning. There is not a single smart device in the house. Hundreds of DVD's but if you want to stream anything, bring something to connect to.
The absolute worst is the couch. It is the most uncomfortable piece of furniture I have ever sat on. We called it Ouch the Couch. We eventually had to bring the two chairs in from the master bedroom to sit on. We didn't need to pull out the couch mattress, but I cannot imagine that it would be comfortable to sleep on.
All in all it is a nice place. If the owner put a little money into the place it "could" be a great place. I think with a short term rental of 2 or 3 days none of that stuff would have mattered, but for two weeks, they made it less than comfortable.
Last word of advise...the bungee cords on the trash cans... make sure you leave them on. Otherwise the critters get in them and make a giant mess.
