Pros: Clean, lots of space, lots of amenities including dedicated parking lot and washer/dryer. Cons: No central air and not super private with shared court yard. Appliances are old.

Safe quiet neighborhood close to grocery stores, shops and restaurants. The guest house was exactly as advertised. It was a plus having a designated parking spot. Everything was in working order, place was clean and the bed was comfortable. Want to come back with my husband next year! Owner was very nice and easy to work with.

Exactly as presented on the web site. Great little quiet neighborhood close to everything. Michael lives right there too and is VERY responsive and helpful. If you like what you see on their site you will love this rental as we did.

This was my first time renting a VRBO. Honestly, I was really hesitant and unsure of the whole process. However was an amazing location with wonderful hosts. The unit was very clean, friendly atmosphere and a wonderful garden, it was dog friendly which was a huge plus. We would absolutely stay here again. Other VRBO‘s have hard shoes to fill after staying at this location.

I absolutely loved this house and location very well-maintained very clean very beautiful. As a single mom of a daughter, we felt extremely safe in this neighborhood. We had everything we needed. It was very accommodating and we felt extremely comfortable. I will save this to tell all my friends.

The property is near the Pacific Coast Highway with short drives to Huntington, Seal and Laguna beaches. The apartment is spacious, full of natural light and has many amenities - fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, TV. One of the best VRBOs of the many that I rented.

Very convenient & walkable location. Stores & restaurants very convenient, less than a mile from the coast.Place was clean & plenty of room. Had a courtyard patio with BBQ & fire pit which we didn’t use. Good to note this patio is SHARED, not private.
We used kitchen to cook breakfasts, salt, pepper, oil provided. Plenty of cookware, glasses, etc were provided.

Apartment was clean and comfortable with all the amenities you would need. Kitchen was clean and had all the cookware, plates, coffe makers and utensils. The landlords were great to work with. Just one great place!

Just right for my daughter and me, two retired ladies. The house was well equipped, comfortable and in a quiet neighborhood, with a pleasant patio. We would stay there again.

We really enjoyed our stay and Micheal is an excellent host. The apartment was spacious clean and had every amenity we needed. It is in a great location, near shops, but in a quiet and pretty neighborhood. Parking was easy we loved having the outdoor space and use the grill. The living and dining area allowed us to have nice family dinners. We would love to stay here again when in the area.

Felt like I was at a B&B! Lovely property. Clean, quiet, comfortable, and safe. ONLY downside was I was visiting family, so didn't spend much time at this gorgeous apartment! Very convenient to get to other areas.
Short walk to Sprouts and an amazingly delicious organic plant-based cafe called Vibe. I know there was much more to explore. Would love to stay again with my hubby & kids. This would totally suit our needs to relax, as well as see family.
Kudos to Michael & Mette for hosting a beautiful apartment at a reasonable rate. Much appreciation.

We very much enjoyed our stay over Christmas in this lovely, well appointed suite in Costa Mesa. We felt welcomed and our host was responsive to any requests that came up. It is a great, central location for the area and I was very surprised how quiet it was. The extra bonus for me was the beautiful and very playable baby grand in the living room. Our only suggestion would be a full length mirror, maybe in the bedroom closet.

My husband and I were in for a friend’s anniversary party and we selected the property based on location and proximity to our friends in the area. I have to say, this by far is one of the best properties I’ve stayed at. It is exactly as described in the listing. The unit was clean on arrival and instructions for checking in and out were clear. We were pleasantly surprised with how quiet and peaceful our stay was. Every detail of our stay was thought of by owner. Having a full size washer and dryer is a huge plus! We will definitely be staying here in the future. Thank you Michael!

Being a female traveling by myself I was looking for safety,cleanliness and comfort and ALL 3 were beyond my expectations. The neighborhood was very quiet and safe in east side costa mesa. I liked the fact the hosts were in the front house and there was assigned parking was in the back for me The apt was spotless and had all the comforts of home including the very comfy bed, 2 flat screen tvs and a large walk closet. The bathroom was full size along with a full size kitchen if you care to cook which i didn’t . It was truly a perfect stay and i hope to book again next year!!

This is an incredible find in Costa Mesa. Quietest neighborhood I have ever encountered. Very clean, Michael has thought of everything you might need. You can work ANYWHERE in the unit - if you need to! - so many plug options. Beautiful courtyard to sit and relax in....wish our trip was longer so that we could enjoy it more. Highly recommend!!

The guest house was a lovely, peaceful space. Very accommodating for me and my brother and my two doggies. Beds are super comfortable . We will be back for sure!

Absolutely loved this place! Quiet, cute neighborhood close to everything we needed. The house was very homey and had everything we needed already in it. I wish we had more time to spend on the patio and to watch a movie because they have a sound system! The owner gave great directions along with photos/map (even though my cousin obviously didn’t follow them when I told her how to get in*eye-roll*). We’ll look for availability here again!
