This home was large and fit our party fine, but definitely lacking extras for all the essentials. No extra garbage bags or soap or towels or blankets. The pool and hot tub weren’t in top working condition either so that was really disappointing as that’s why we booked. However the home is very large and fit everyone in our party, when we requested things from the host they did send a house cleaner with some extra things, and someone to clean the pool, but the issue wasn’t resolved. Paid a lot for the issues to happen.

Home is walking distance from the beach. Home has a great pool that was suitable for a party of 11. Home had 4 rooms to accommodate living quarters. Home had a suitable kitchen and dining area for meals and lounging areas both inside and out. No complaints. I wouldn't mind rebooking the place for my next visit.

We had a party of 9 stay at the beautiful Blue Dolphin. Plenty of room and the house was clean upon arrival. The pool and hot tub were sparkling clean and we used it every day. Literally a 5 minute walk to the beach. Only criticism is there are hardly any “extras” in the house. No extra trash bags, 1 extra roll of toilet paper, no coffee or coffee filters, things like that. So be prepared to make a stop at the grocery store if you plan to cook or have several people staying. Fortunately, there is a grocery store right down the street.

We rented this house because it had a pool and hot tub. When we checked in we found the hot tub water was very low and the pool was cold. I called right away and I was told to fill the hot turn with the garden hose and try the to start it. It didn’t work so I called again. A pool tech was finally sent out and tried to fix it. Know one informed use of what was going on with it before the tech left without the pool and hot tub fixed. I called again the next day the tech was sent out and after several hours was able to get the hot tub fixed. Long story short we never were able to use the pool it was way too cold. I was very disappointed with this rental. Vacasa shouldn’t have listings available if things like this aren’t working.

Really lovely place to host 3 generations! One room is quite small barely enough to fit a bed length and width, I do recommend minor cleaning such as sheets-found dirt particles in the bed in the smaller room. Maybe some cosmetic updates such as painting the rails, walls at the entrance, chipped toilet tank lid, puncture door, cigarette butts outside, dog poop outside in the backyard. And this is because I’m observant…but it’s really a lovely place

The space was fantastic, walking distance to the beach and house layout with pool is excellent. Room for improvement in amenities available including, more towels, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper goods etc. There were not enough towels provided for our group of 8 adults for basic showering. When we arrived the sheets were not clean on 2/4 beds and there were ants in the pantry - they were very responsive and addressed any issues immediately sending a crew over to clean and address our concerns. Would recommend a more clear explanation of how little is provided in the home as far as amenities or improvements in those areas.

The location was great. You could walk to the Bayside or the beach in less than 5 minutes. Pool and hot tub were an amazing thing to have in this hot weather after we figured out how to work it. House was big enough for our party of eight.

The house layout is beautiful & location is amazing! We had issues with ants on the kitchen counter & pantry. The outside trash bin was full, so the outside smelled when we arrived. This also made it challenging for us to throw the inside trash. Restroom sink wouldn’t drain properly. Pool felt heated and grill was dirty. Overall, the house could have used a good cleaning. Couches had stains & some doors need a paint job. The white doors look dirty. Otherwise, we would have rated this house a five.

The well maintained and thoughtfully furnished house offered spacious rooms for relaxation. The highlight of our stay was the pool and hot tub, providing a refreshing respite after beach adventures. The beach's proximity allowed for leisurely strolls and breathtaking views. The fully equipped kitchen and cozy living area were perfect for family time. The property management team was responsive and accommodating with any issues we brought to their attention. Overall, this beach house in South Padre Island is a fantastic choice for a family vacation.

This house has it ALL! Located in the heart of the island. The beach is 1/2 a block away, supermarket across the street, several restaurants within a 5 block radius, including the entertainment district! No need for a vehicle. The house is private, spacious and well equipped for large groups. The 4 bedrooms have plenty of room and comfortable beds for everyone. The large backyard has a gas grill and plenty of seating to entertain outdoors. Of course the gorgeous pool and hot tub provided hours of entertainment and relaxation. The hot tub was a pleasure to relax in especially on cool days and nights ! We will be back again and again!! Thanks for everything!!

Great location! The house is great for a big group. The mattresses are extremely hard in every bedroom. We went in the off season when its not hot and we choose this place because the listing says HOT TUB. There is NOT a hot tub. After waiting for hours after we turned it on, we were told it is not a hot tub it is a SPA that will get only to 80 degrees. This was very disappointing and this part of the listing is inaccurate/ misleading. Host was responsive. The house is decently clean.

This home is gorgeous and the cleanliness was immaculate! We really enjoyed our stay here. It was conveniently located across the street from a super market and right in the middle of all the fun activities. The pool and spa were very clean. 10 stars all the way around and we are excited to return next summer! Definitely recommend this place, hands down 🙌🏻

Condo was clean, beautiful, and very roomy! Kitchen was well equipped, as the bedroom with plenty of towels…we especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub!

The property was clean and very nice, close to grocery store and beach. The problem is we wanted a 4 bedroom for 4 adult couples. This was a 3 bedroom with a bed shoved in a closet. The 4th room they call a bedroom had no closet or window and had a pocket door because the wasn't enough space for a door to open or close. There was probably 12 inches from the wall to the bed. We had to put the luggage in the downstairs utility room. So, if you are looking for a 4 bedroom for 8 adults this is not what you would be happy with.

This house was so convenient and beautiful fir my whole family! Between the beach and all the main dining on the strip. Gorgeous days by the pool and beautiful nights having a family meal in the gorgeous kitchen or playing a board game on the table! We will definitely be back again!

We loved our stay. The house is perfectly in the middle between the bay and beach. Walking distance to almost everything! House was clean and pool was great! Outdoor shower is a must and so convenient (only would add to have a keypad lock by the shower as well so you don't have to go through the house to open it) Loved the decor as well. Roomy and clean!

Beautiful home
The house was beautiful, very clean, spacious & had all necessary amenities. The only thing I wasn’t satisfied with was the pool & hot tub. They had green algae on the walls & floors like they hadn’t been cleaned in a while. I sent the person in charge a text & 20 minutes later a man arrived to clean it & was done in 20 minutes. It still wasn’t clean after he left so we weren’t able to use either one. Other than that, it was perfect

Great home, great location!
We were fortunate enough to be able to book the Blue Dolphin Beach House on short notice after arriving in South Padre and being told that the previous place we booked did not have electricity. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise! This place was excellent! It was very clean and spacious, and in close proximity to the beach, restaurants and many other attractions. We will definitely plan to stay there again whenever we return.

The location of this home is perfect. It is steps from the beach, the market, and some restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed the house. The private sand shower was great.

Let’s start with the positive things first! It’s a beautiful, spacious home to go vacation in! The colors it’s painted are so lovely as a beach home! Love that it has 2 1/2 baths, made it so much nicer for our big family!! I gave it 4 stars, really deserves 4 1/2, but can’t get it to do that! I only have a couple of things that would of made this a 5 star home. We wanted to bbq one night, but to our surprise the bbq pit was filthy. I had to scrub it clean before being able to use it. It’s ready now for the next person because I cleaned it really good after using it. The coffee pot had no pot to put the coffee in. We did have a problem with the wifi, but they took care of it right away!! So, would I recommend staying in this place again, YES, I would!! The little things aside, it was a wonderful place for our family to make some memories!

Nice and convenient vacation house in quiet neighborhood
The house is looking very modern. All house floor are equipped with tiles. It is really clean and feel cool. Especially in a humid beach, you won't feel muggy. I am satisfied with bathrooms, they are all very clean. It is inside the town, so if you need ocean view, it may not be your choice.
