Romantic country cottage right on the Cypress Creek!
Romantico casolare situato su 11. 5 acri proprio lungo le rive del Cypress Creek. Questa struttura dispone di 1 camera da letto e 1 bagno, una meravigliosa terrazza con vista sull'acqua e un camino a legna. Le grandi finestre pittoresche portano nella splendida campagna collinare.
Questa proprietà è un piacere raro in quanto è a pochi minuti dal centro di Wimberley, ma ha privacy e accesso al torrente. Perfetto per una vacanza di coppia, la casa ha un letto matrimoniale e comode zone giorno.

We enjoyed our weekend stay. The house is close enough to downtown Wimberley but far enough to enjoy the peace. The scenery is beautiful! Thank you for a wonderful stay. See you again soon!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at this property. The location is perfect if you're looking to visit downtown Wimberley! A couple recommendations: (1) It would be super helpful to have a magnification mirror and small vanity to sit at for make-up application. The bathroom is pretty small with limited counter space; (2) A Keurig for morning coffee (there is an old school coffee pot at the house but unfortunately we found a roach in it and weren't too keen on using it after that). Everything else was great!

We had a nice, quiet weekend in this great cottage. The decor was eclectic and the creek behind the property was awesome. Host was very nice and accommodating.

We stayed at this cabin for a week.
Loved the location, the creek, the quiet, the caretakers little dogs❤️, comfy bed… the list goes on!
A couple of suggestions.
*A dining room table would have been nice.
* Get rid of the nonstick pans. They are chipped and not usable. (The caretakers kindly let us use their personal pans) Leia was most helpful!
* Let folks know there is a charcoal grill, but no charcoal. We arrived around the dinner hour hoping to grill, but couldn’t. (Again, the kitchen pans were unusable).
We will definitely be back!

My wife and I enjoyed a couple days away. The cabin is super cozy and has beautiful views. It’s located conveniently close to all the shops and restaurants. Only negative is we wish we could have check out a little later than 10am because it was so relaxing!!! Highly recommend!

This was so nice and quiet and beautiful. Thank you for supplying a kayak. I used that quite a bit. We swam and kayaked in the creek. It was just what we needed. The house was beautiful with all the windows and very comfy bed! Be sure to eat out on the patio at Chilis on the Creek

The house was better than we expected. The creek and cypress trees out back were beautiful. Feather bedding and handmade soaps were wonderful touches!

If you are looking for a very peaceful and beautiful cottage near Wimberly, this is the one for you. Cottage was very clean and uniquely decorated. Would highly recommend!

We love this place! We have also stayed in the Cteekhouse with family. The access to the creek is wonderful! Lots of animal watching also. The only issue we had was not getting a response back as to how to let out the awning.

Quiet Little Spot
We had a fantastic time here. The property was tucked away in a quiet little spot just minutes from town. We spent a lot of time fishing and enjoying the shade. The cottage was clean, comfortable and just what we needed for our getaway. We would definitely stay here again.

A perfect, peaceful, calm getaway.
Beautiful, secluded cottage in Texas hill country. The check was easy and the property was warm, clean and inviting upon arrival. Beautiful view of the creek and wildlife. We plan to return this summer for an extended stay. My only complaint was that we were unable to use the fireplace. It was a cold night and it would have been great to use the large fireplace, however it could be considered a liability which is understandable. This does not dissuade our decision to return again!

Beautiful, relaxing cottage
I was looking for a nice, quiet place to get away and relax. This cottage was just the place to do that. I loved seeing the deer the day I got there.

Very nice stay next to Cypress Creek
Location of house is near enough to Wimberly, but far enough to feel out in the country.
House is nice enough. No dishwasher though. The one bath is not adjoining the bedroom and you have to walk 30 feet or so. Not a huge deal.
Kitchen is well-appointed, and the deck and views and access to the river is the big attraction for us!

Cottage in a peaceful setting
The cottage has a great view, close to everything without being in the hustle and bustle. The owners are art collectors that have a taste that may not appeal to everyone’s decor style but seems to be a collection they’ve worked on. Our only complaint was the cottage had a stale cigarette odor to it which was unexpected since smoking is not allowed.

Loved this place. Peaceful and beautiful with lots of deer in the evening and morning. Romantic and secluded. Not overly fancy and fussy but great mix of contemporary art and some antique furniture. Just lovely.

You do share the water space with neighbors, but the view was beautiful! We spent a lot of time sitting and enjoying nature.

Peace and quiet
We needed to take a little getaway to decompress from everyday worries and this place was the perfect spot. The peace and quiet not to mention the view was exactly what we needed. Would definitely stay here again in the future.

Quiet, serene getaway in Wimberley
My husband and I stayed at the cottage for our niece's wedding. This property was better than the listing photos. We loved everything about it. The house was very clean, and I love the decor and unique artwork the owner's have curated. Beautiful, serene property with access to Cypress Creek in the backyard. It's also a short, easy drive into the main part of Wimberley. This is a wonderful couple's or individual person getaway if you want a comfortable, relaxing house in a peaceful location. We would definitely stay again.
