The restaurant was great, we ate there both nights. The bar tenders were top shelf. The buildings, rooms and old equipment make the place interesting at every turn. I got lost in the bed, it must be the best bed I've ever been in.

this property was amazing! we arrived 3 hours early and they had the room ready and allowed check-in. the room was large, clean and looked great. The bathroom and shower were big, with an amazing smelling body wash provided. I looked at the sign as you walk into room and seen they offer 1 free bottle of essential oils, a diffuser and a record platter to use in the room which all worked perfectly. The restaurant was a short walk away with great bbq food and beer selection. lastly, there is a brewery within walking distance that has great beers.

It's a beautiful hotel, with incredible features and design. Nearly everything feels high end and well maintained. I love the little touches throughout the hotel that offer ambience and luxury. The bed itself is super comfortable and the robes and toiletries are exceptional. It's also quiet and cozy.

The biggest disappointment was an overlooked alarm set by a previous guest and not turned off by housekeeping. I have a terrible time sleeping, especially while away from home, and having an alarm I didn't set go off at 6:47 a.m. did me no favors in that department. Additionally, there are some features that have slipped between our last visit and this one. Most noticeable was the lack of signature fragrance in the hallways. What a letdown when we got off the elevator expecting to be escorted into luxury only those expectations fall flat at the scent of nothingness. Whatever was previously being pumped into the hallways has been dropped. We also noticed some wear and tear on the bathmats (terribly frayed and mishappen) that show signs that cost cutting measures are being taken, which is a shame. Personally speaking, though this isn't a change between our last stay and this one, I don't like the lighting of the room and the super thickness of the pillows. I enjoy the option of a bright space or something dimmer, but like nearly all hotels, I had to turn on every switch and open the curtain just to almost get enough light in the room. I'm addition, I have to fight with the pillows to sleep. They're not just overstuffed, they're unruly. I'd appreciate something more ergonomic and forgiving.

Beautiful property, great location right on State Street in the heart of downtown. You can walk to restaurants, The Paramount, The Cameo easily. Front desk staff was super friendly.

Couple of minor issues. No ice bucket, no glass ware for drinks. When my husband went down to the desk after we came in from the concert, to get an ice bucket…they had none available, he was told they were “all out”, whatever that means. So they gave him two disposable coffee cups full of ice. They were super nice about it, but for the cost of a room for one night and it being a Tribute property, I expect a little better than that. Second thing is we were put in a handicapped room which I did not request. Normally that would not be problematic but the shower head was improperly installed far too low. My husband is 6’ 4” and it was unusable for him except for the handshower. And I know that it’s improperly installed because we had a plumbing contracting business lol.
