Well maintained home, right on the beach! We had a wonderful week on the beach with the entire family! We enjoyed the bbq, outdoor seating, fire pit, and hot tub. The outdoor shower was super convenient to rinse off the sand. We’ll definitely be back!

This was our 2nd year staying in Sunset Beach, first time at this property, last year at their other property a few blocks away. The whole experience from booking to the end of our stay, was the most easy going and pleasant experience. The house and the location is amazing! The furnishings and the beds were very comfortable. Tyler, the property manager does a great job. Had to get a hold of him once or twice and he is prompt and professional every time.

Great property. Beach was right off the patio. Fun biking paths. Beach was kept very clean. Toddler enjoyed the playground in the green space. Tyler Noonan was great to work with. Very quick to respond! We’ll be back!!

We had an incredibly enjoyable stay at this beachfront property! The location of the house is perfect, allowing easy access to the beach, local restaurants, and boat charters in Huntington Harbor. The beach itself was absolutely perfect for our family. It wasn’t too crowded, the waves were calm, there were no rocks, and the people were friendly. The house itself suited our family well and provided everything we needed for the beach, including chairs, soft tops, boogie boards, towels, and sand toys. The outdoor shower was convenient for washing off the sand, and the jacuzzi was a fantastic way to unwind after a day at the beach. The house was well-stocked with essential items and impeccably clean. Tyler, the host, was wonderful to work with—very accommodating and responsive. We’re already looking forward to booking again for next year!

House was clean, comfortable, well kept. The beach access was a few steps out the door. The master suite which looks over the beach and ocean and has a lounge area with a large tv and fireplace was awesome. Quiet neighborhood, beaches in mid-May were almost empty. Dolphins cavorted close to shore three days in a row, around 10 of them. Recommend this house to anyone.

This home is located on an idyllic stretch of the beach. Has everything, including the white picket fence and flowers. Just beautiful. Loved the outdoor space with the spa as well as the spacious master bedroom with incredible views. Host answered any questions I had immediately and was very friendly. Highly recommend this property for a relaxing beach vacation!

This house in Sunset Beach was perfect for our family's needs for a relaxing beach retreat. We used the kitchen & bbq for meals often, and the house is stocked with beach toys & towels. Everything worked great, and the info book answered all of our questions for our stay. The area is perfect- quieter than other nearby beach communities, close to everything we needed. Tyler, the host, was available if we needed and responded swiftly to my one text question. We would absolutely stay at one of his properties again.

Well maintained property and great location, plenty roomy for 8+ (we had 6). We could walk for miles and get to most everything which was nice. Parking in front of place was a little tight, but plenty of parking (including overnight) near by for additional cars. My only real negative was the spa was in very poor shape. We picked this property in part because it had a spa. The odor was so foul from the moment we got there, most everyone wouldn't use it. As someone that has maintained our pool for years, this was inexcusable for this price point. The water either needed to be shocked hard, or dumped entirely. After a few days most of the odor had gone away from the chlorine, but that isn't an adequate option when transferring to new tenants. Other than the spa disappointment the trip was great.

Clean and well-stocked house, amazing access to the beach, and close by to lots of cool local spots (Captain Jack’s a must!). Also close by to Disney and the Long Beach aquarium, which our kids loved. Tyler was very helpful and responsive, though thankfully after a question about lighting the fire pit, we didn’t have to bother him after that. We had a great mini family reunion (our group from NYC, others from LA) and would love to visit again someday.

Our family had an amazing week vacation on the beach and visiting amusement parks. We stayed a week with 7 adults and 2 kids and had plenty of space. The beach was a few steps outside the back patio/deck onto the sand and your right there. Couldn’t have asked for more. We will definitely stay again!!!

This was for my birthday celebration with girlfriends and it was just beautiful. We loved the house, the LOCATION, the beach, the sun. Tyler was lovely. The house is lovely. The beach is heaven. I would just advise that there was not quite enough supplies- only 3 rolls of TP, only one dish towel, not enough towels (we did do laundry quite a bit to help), and there is no soap for the sink or for the showers. Finally, if you live in a city you will be used to people living in the park across the street. We still felt very safe but I saw a complaint on another review and thought I would mention that its just the world we live in- nothing excessive, just to be aware.

Excellent location and views!

Pros: - Cute and right on sand - Stunning master bedroom views and sleep to the sound of the ocean - Well stocked with outdoor furniture, cookware, and dishes Cons: - Bedrooms were too warm. Only comfortable room was master which gets nice breezes. - Linens need to be bleached and/or replaced. They weren’t adequately clean. And master bedroom pillows were stained and smelled like body odor. - Bad water pressure in showers. They are also dated and moldy. - Hot tub awful. I let the host know and he sent someone to “service” it (supposedly serviced twice a week but there 10 days and only time was when we complained). Servicing it consisted of a guy throwing in a chlorine tab of some sort. After I let my daughter go in. She ended up with a rash and a diagnosis of hot tub folliculitis, caused by bacteria in the hot tub. The host did refund the hot tub fee after he was alerted. - There is a homeless population living in parking lot directly adjacent to the house. - Neighbors blasted loud music and smoked pot about 10 hours a day. - Main living area cramped and not well laid out. Don’t recommend for more than 6. - I don’t know if Sunset Beach is always like this, but the 10 days we were there, there were multiple stingray bites EVERY day. My son was bit our second day there. The lifeguard sent us to urgent care who sent us to the hospital. Expensive! In summary, it’s a great rental for young adults! Definitely fun. But it is not family friendly or at all luxurious. It reminded me of the houses we rented when in college. For the cost you can do much better, unless your only priority is location on the sand.

Would stay again

We had a fabulous time at the beach. The house was perfect for our family and we loved being able to walk right out onto the beach. We would definitely rent this place again!

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this comfortable beach house. It is well located on a relatively quiet section of the beach, a short distance from the start of the bike path. The ocean views are magnificent, especially from the second floor balcony! The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked. Tyler is an excellent host, always available with helpful information. Overall, a great stay!

This was a four generation family gathering for Mother’s Day. With the entire family there, inevitably we would need to make tea for older adults. Mot enough mugs and cups in the cupboard were not properly washed and I wish there was a electric tea kettle that could heat up water fast rather than microwaving each cup of water to make tea. That was the only minor issue with the stay

We had a great family gathering and exceptional good weather.House was good for all ages in our family.The outdoor grill needs some work and the girls bike needs some breaks.Overall we had a wonderful time in Sunset this was our fifth visit.

This property was perfect for my family especially for my two year old granddaughter. Its right on the beach with a fenced in yard so it was easy to watch her. There's a playground almost in the backyard. I look for cleanliness when I rent a house and this house was immaculate! The beds were so comfortable and linens were dream worthy. Tyler was easy to get hold of and came to assist us within an hour of calling him. We only needed him for the TV and he brought us a new Firestick because we couldn't figure out the old one. That was our only issue and it was minor and taken care of right away. Check in was easy and keyless which I prefer. The location could not have been better and the house is awesome. Views galore. We watched the surfers daily and used deck fireplace at night. The house is well stocked from the kitchen with spices and coffee to the toys for kids and bikes in garage. Parking is right in back of house and a lot for guests to park. Tv's in every bedroom and large fireplace in master. Couldn't have asked for better We were there visiting my daughter who lives in California and will hope to be back at the house every time we go back.

I brought my husband to the beach for a relaxing weekend with friends and family. This location was more than I could have ever anticipated. My family will remember this place for the rest of our lives. I’m already planning our next trip. Thank you!!!!!

The place was cozy yet spacious enough to accommodate 7 adults and a 3 year old

1st we rely on accuracy reviews when we book, anyone can post pictures. And we know you always get that 1, who’s never happy. We Rent different locations for over 20 years and are in the process of building a Beach Property and know the type of renters (like us) we would want and what accommodations we would expect. Here is the bottom line, Yes we would stay here again in a heartbeat. Pro’s: Location is awesome. You have within walking distance, restaurants, Micro Brew, Surf Shop ect. The House is located on what I would call a Stretched Cul de Sac. 24 street long Of Beach houses, with a Park dividing the one lanes, one way only horseshoe Road. Folks Walk, ride their bikes, walk their dog, ect. Parking at these houses are limited to one car in front of the Garage, but there are tons of spots for overnight parking outlining this 2 mile stretch both sides of the park. The one lot across from the House is 6 AM to 10 PM only. Tons of Surfers use this as well as beach goers due to the entrance to the beach is right there. They are 2 bikes, and we all went on bikes rides down the beach several times a day, Paved beach Path runs for miles toward Huntington. The House was clean and plenty of room to stretch out. Outside deck was huge and fire pit was a nightly gathering spot. Small kids loved all the sand toys they provide. We used the 2 Surfboards and boogie boards provided. (Side note: We rented Wetsuits from the surf shop across the street which made the trip). Waves are why they call this Surf City. Tyler the Host is so quick to respond with a pleasant attitude, no matter how small the request was he responded immediately. Con’s: There are some Homeless folks that live in the Park across the street. Very well behaved and do not bother folks at all. Kind of flipped my wife out seeing them and caught her off guard, but very harmless. Grill needed manually light with a lighter that was provided, the auto light push buttons did not work. No big deal, just had to figure this out, would have been nice to know at the beginning. My expensive grill at home does the same thing, works great but needs manual lit. Keypad Locks were nonfunctional on several side doors, we used Garage entrance everyday, they fixed one that was a shared entrance, just frustrating showing up and can’t get in. But Tyler to the rescue really fast.

We had a great family vacation at this property! Tyler was the best property manager we have ever rented from. The house was extremely well-equipped with tons of sand toys and boogie boards. The convenience to the beach was amazing and the outdoor deck was great for hanging out. The hot tub was a huge plus, as were the very comfortable beds! House has some worn areas but certainly nothing to keep us from renting again!

It’s a fun place to stay grandkids ages 9 to 12 we’re in the ocean with minutes of our arrival. Backyard was fun with an small hot tub we all enjoyed. House wasn’t as large as photos, but we enjoyed it. It took us a couple day to realize large master bedroom was also the living room it had great views and the large tv. We could walk to some good restaurants and a terrific brewery called golden road. Walking back on the beach after dinner was very cool.
