Amazing property. Amazing view. Convenient location. So nice to have a garage. Hope to stay here again.

The house was beautifully located, clean, well maintained, and exceeded all of our expectations. The price was a bit high, and there were some small inconveniences, but overall, we were very pleased with our selection.

Property was just as listed, very clean and all the amenities you would need for an enjoyable stay. Bed was very comfortable, linens very clean, kitchen had all the things you would need for preparing meals and such. Property is located in a great place, good neighborhood and near many “hot spots” or short commute! We would definitely recommend this property to anyone needing a place to stay in San Francisco. Definitely a 5 star stay!!

This property was a great stay-cation for us to spend some time with family who came to town and for us to get a larger place to be able to be together. The home was quiet, with some minor noise from the planes at Oakland Airport. It was a clean and well stocked home for most needs. My parents really appreciated the single story home and just 2 steps to get in and no step walk-in shower. The beds were comfortable. Cooking a meal was super easy with the great stove/oven. The birds and scenery was great to watch from inside as well as just a short walk to the beach. Great views of the fog rolling in over San Francisco. Highly recommend this home. Lu was great to work with and timely responses to emails.

This is a beautiful property that is well maintained. The location offers a spectacular view of the bay. It is also conveniently located walking distance to a park, bay beach and stores.

We were delighted when we enter the property to find the the advertised description and photos were exactly right. We found the home to be beautiful, relaxing, and inviting. The views, access to the trail (right outside the back door!), and oh so comfortable beds were so appreciated. Plenty of restaurants and shopping so close. Access to all the touristy in the SF Bay area kept us busy. When our legs just couldn't take another day of walking, the Alameda Theatre (just a mile away) provided the perfect day off with their recliner seating. I would recommend this rental to any and all!

This was a lovely property in a great spot. Do you know there’s a bowling alley in Alameda? And so much sushi! We will definitely come again.

Our inaugural visit to the enchanting city of San Francisco was a huge success beginning with our beautiful lodging. The house was a piece of heaven. The location was charming, convenient and cozy. We settled in beautifully and absorbed the many adventures that the city offered. The only missing element was a TV in the second bedroom; which I remedied by use of my trusty iPad:). The host was kind, efficient and thoughtful and we will include this property in our future visits to the city.

It was an amazing adventure. Lu was super accommodating. The property was more beautiful than the pictures. Perfect location, watched sunset every night, walked to shopping center, I have only good things to say and will definately return. Thank you Lu for an amazing experience.

We were all delighted with the property. This is a well appointed spa like retreat. The location backs up to a marsh restoration area and bird sanctuary. Morning coffee was amazing as we watched pelicans, snowy egrets, hummingbirds and more going about their day. As an avid walker- the trails and paths around the bay were phenomenal.

I've stayed in a lot of places that look good in pictures, but aren't so hot when you see them in person. This place lived up to every expectation and often exceeded them. The house, which appears to have been recently and completely remodeled, is beautiful and is furnished with everything you could possibly need while on vacation. The view from the sunroom is spectacular and ever-changing. The location was perfect: a quiet neighborhood with shopping/grocery nearby and only a few miles from the Oakland airport. I would definitely stay there again!

Lu's home was clean and has an amazing kitchen and modern amenities which made it very comfortable for four adults. Sipping coffee early morning in the sun room while watching the birds and ships come into Oakland Harbor was a very relaxing way to start our day. The home is in a very quiet neighborhood, yet easy access to nearly anywhere you want to go. For example, we took the ferry in to the city. The port was very close, (actually there are two to choose from), but we sailed from the main terminal. After a very full day in San Francisco, we ferried back home. The port is very close to some breweries and distilleries -- so of course we had a beer to toast a wonderful day of sightseeing!

This was by far the best stay I have had in Alameda. Great location and beautiful home. The view was awesome. Clean had everything you needed. 7 nights and didn’t want to leave. Thank you Lu.

Lu and Bob were wonderful hosts, and their home was gorgeous and comfortable. We were in town to visit family and entertained in the large kitchen for the five of us for dinner with all needed utensils and pots and pans. The home was very well built with quality fit and finish, top of the line appliances and we felt very at home here. Will definitely be back, and recommend to anyone visiting the Bay Area to stay here!

We enjoyed staying in this house so much...great view of the estuary that is right outside the door so you can take in all the glorious sunrises, sunsets and bird watching from inside or out on the path along the water. Comfortable, modern, well equipped plus dream kitchen a joy to cook in!

We were looking for a house that didn't need much childproofing, was a close drive to San Francisco, and would be ok to spend the majority of the week hanging out in even if things shut down because of COVID. We got all of that and so much more! We could have sat in the sunroom all day every day with a glass of wine and been content. So many birds to watch, sunrises and sunsets to see, and just beautiful scenery in general. The walking path along the bay was great to get a little exercise in the afternoons and you can even see San Francisco along the skyline. The kitchen appears to be newly remodeled and had tons of space (Safeway was just a couple minutes away to stock up on groceries). Having a garage was a big perk because it's always a little scary to leave a rental parked on the street (although this neighborhood is perfectly safe). It was a quick drive to the Oakland Airport, and going into San Francisco did not take long at all. The hosts were very responsive both by text and email. I literally do not have a single complaint, and I hope we have a reason in the future to stay again!

Beautiful place right on the water. Very clean and even better in person. The big downside is that there is no a/c. If the weather will be hot it will be uncomfortable in the house. I was unaware of this prior to booking or after I booked. The first day it was 89 degrees in the house during th day and by the last day only got down to 77 degrees.
