Thank you a wonderful time. We had a great family Christmas and it was soooo cool to walk into a fully-decorated Christmas tree! Very classy touch. The view is awesome. We spent so much time out on the deck by the fire pit. The description says “gourmet” kitchen and that is accurate. Wonderfully appointed. Just show up with your food and drink. Plenty of space! We could have had 4 more people and still had ample room. Would highly recommend.

Well appointed home with all the amenities to accommodate a multi generational family weekend. Truly a beautiful property with spectacular views of Lake Arrowhead.

Overall we had a wonderful stay. The house is beautiful and the views are stunning. But please be aware that there are steep stairs. We had very small children and a pregnant woman in our group so it wasn’t the most convenient so if there are elderly people it may not be the best choice. The bonus room and second master bedroom are 2 flights of steep stairs down. But a great house with everything you need. The electric bikes were a great bonus.

I’ve stayed at VRBOs around the world and this property is top notch. Actually, it’s nicer than the listing. Everything is high class. The e-bikes were a pleasant surprise. Most importantly was the high level of cleanliness.

We througly enjoyed our stay. The view is fantastic! Perfect place for our family to spend time together. The most responsive host I have ever dealt with ... The fire pit was not working correctly and they had a new one installed by the next day! Amazing!

The Alpen Lodge is beautiful and spacious with the view of the lake better than pictured. We were pleasantly surprised with all of the kitchen supplies and extras that included many pantry basics. The home was very comfortable for our family of eight with room to spare. The beds were comfy and there were plenty of towels and bathroom supplies. We enjoyed the outside decks and loved sitting around the fire pit in the evening. The only negative is the outside furniture on the main deck needs to be replaced. We would most definitely return for another family getaway in the future. Thank you Jon.

This property has been upgraded and looks very nice! It has 5 bedrooms and plenty of room. It’s set in 3 levels so please consider that if you have older people in your party as steps are steep and could be challenging to go back and forth between the bedrooms at lower floors and the main floor with kitchen and the living room…

Overall experience was great! Everything that we needed was supplied and more. Had very clear instructions and rules which made it easier to navigate the house. And the view of the lake was just BEAUTIFUL. Thanks Jon for a great stay!

We loved this property it is brand new and very nicely decorated. The amenities were great. It was very clean. The beds were extremely comfortable. And the view! Breathtaking. You can see the lake from every floor and patio. The management was very responsive and accommodating. The car charger was an added plus!

We enjoyed our stay, the home and views are beautiful. We appreciated the amenities and attention to detail. We had fun playing table tennis during our stay. Our host Jon was available and helpful. We would consider returning to this location or another LVH rental home.

We stayed here with family and friends in preparation for my sister's wedding. It was the perfect amount of space. We loved that each level of the house has a patio with a beautiful view of the lake. The perfect getaway!

This home is beyond perfect, you can tell much care and thought went into every detail of the house - I can’t express how wonderful our stay was! The house was impeccably clean and beautiful with high quality bedding and furniture. Location is amazing and 5-10 minutes away from some great snow locations (we had a blast at Will Abell Memorial Trail!) and also close to Arrowhead Village. Jon was amazing and was very responsive and helpful. We stayed with 3 very picky families (6 adults, 2 elementary aged kids, 2 toddlers) and everyone had an amazing time. It’s a huge house and we probably would have still been comfortable with 1-2 more families! I cannot recommend this house enough, dreaming about going back soon!! Thank you Jon!

The location was absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the lake. All spaces (bedrooms and shared spaces) were well laid out and decorated beautifully for each of our family groups (young kids, teens, and couples). We especially appreciated that each floor allowed for peace and quite, fun and games, and group time. Each deck had a different view of the lake and had varied furniture. Will definitely look to book again!

Views magnificent!The house is a 7-10 min drive to the small village of Blue Jay where there is a nice market, few restaurants and shops and another 5 min to the Village of Arrowhead. The roads wind around a lot and can be fairly steep if you’re out walking. A strange thing about Lake Arrowhead is that the lake is private and there aren’t a lot (any) of trails you are allowed to walk on that border the lake. That was frustrating but plenty of streets to walk with lake views. If we come back to Arrowhead we would definitely stay at this house again. It was really nice and accommodating.

EVERYTHING FROM THE MOMENT WE WALKED IN FROM THE MOMENT WE LEFT WAS ON POINT! WE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED, THE LOCATION WAS PERFECT, AND THE VIEW WAS INCREDIBLE! WE HAD SNOW ON OUR SECOND DAY, AND IT WAS THE BEST EXPERIENCE WEVE HAD ON OUR HOLIDAY.. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR HAVING SUCH AN ACCOMODATING PROPERTY, WE WILL BE BOOKING MORE VACATIONS WITH LVH RENTALS IN TRHE FUTURE.

The house could not be more beautiful. The view is million dollar from the house to all the decks. Kitchen was so very well equipped with everything you might need. No mismatched anything! Would stay again for sure.

This property is amazing. The views from every floor just took your breath away. The home was extremely clean and well appointed. We had everything we needed to cook amazing meals over looking the lake. We could not have asked for a better place and time to come together and relax and disconnect from the outside world.

It did not disappoint and we spent a lot of time on the main deck! The house is beautifully decorated and well-appointed. It’s clear that management really tries to go above and beyond the expectations of your usual vacation rental. There are many very thoughtful and practical extras that you would not expect to find in your average vacation rental. Our family of five (all adults) really appreciated all the thoughtful touches.A previous reviewer noted the stairs were steep and without carpeting. We agree, but also want to note that there are hand railings on both sides. We had 2 seniors in the group, and both were okay with the stairs.We did have an incident with a critter that we’ll nickname, Fievel. He made an appearance our first night in the bottommost floor crawling down the curtains going for some kibble or chex from a previous tenant. I get that we’re in the mountains, but we aren’t into sharing our living space with critters. We vacated the bedroom, and didn’t spend too much time on that floor for the rest of the visit. I did contact Jon, who was responsive, and said a team member wearing a mask would stop by the house. A friendly lady came to put out traps, she was in and out quickly, but she was not wearing a mask. Don’t know what happened to Fievel. I didn’t check. But I did check the perimeters other two floors every day more than once, and there was no evidence of Fievel or his family on those two floors.For our family, if not for the incident above, we would not hesitate to rent this house again. Probably not a big deal for most people, but it did mar what would have otherwise been a perfect visit. I would be willing to rent from management again at a different property.

The property was clean and well represented. The views from the decks are gorgeous. The beds in the Bedrooms we used (on 2nd floor) were extremely comfortable! A concern: The stairs from the main to lower floors are extremely steep, and slippery, which could pose a problem for younger kids and older adults. Perhaps a non-slip carpet or pad would eliminate this problem.

Great Property and Views! Plenty of space for the group to spread out. Very clean and well equipped. Jon was very helpful in getting us setup on arrival.

Everything is new and modern. Loved all the nice touches in the house. The kitchen had everything you need.and the views from the balconies where just beautiful!! Just be aware that there are two stairways going down to the bedrooms from the main floor. This might be a problem for some people.

What a great experience from start to finish! Good communication with owner prior to arrival, easy check in, fabulous property equipped with all the bells and whistles. My family and I had a wonderful time and would book again with this owner!
