This is by far the cleanest, spacious, beautifully decorated vacation home we have stayed in. The owners have taken care of every little detail to make your stay comfortable and fun. Not sure how many of you care about the quality of sheets but I do. We loved that they have cotton/ linen fabric sheets/ duvet covers. The mattress quality is also great.

This property suited us perfectly - great space, room for our family of 6, well located and well stocked with all the beach gear and BBQ equipment.

This was the perfect beach getaway for our extended family! Laila was a great host and the house was very kid friendly (especially the backyard). Close enough to the beach to go back and forth for nap time and plenty to do in the area if you need a beach break.

Great time

This was the first time using VRBO and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The house was absolutely beautiful, the decor was fabulous, the rooms were spacious and the beds were so comfy. The location was the best, 5 min walk to beach and close to shops and restaurants ( I could literally see Target from one of the windows). There were beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, beach wagons and coolers for you to use. There was a lovely note along with stuff to make s’mores, popcorn and wine for us. Communication with her was always a pleasure and she got back to me quickly. Our vacation was so great we didn’t want to leave. It was so perfect! Would definitely stay here again, it’s really a 5+ star rating.

Our family had a memorable time at this beach house. The house is well decorated and feels very homey. Laila was such a pleasure to communicate with and responds very quick. The kitchen is well stocked and we love that the house came with beach wagons to carry chairs and umbrellas. The beach was only a short walk away and was not very crowded. The location is great because we had a Food Lion and a Duck Donuts across the highway and a Publix right down the road which made food runs very convenient. We made great memories here, thank you for hosting us!

Had an amazing week in OBX. This house has it all. The location was an easy 5 minute walk to the beach. The house had everything you need to enjoy a day at the beach. Umbrellas, chairs, and beach toys. The house has everything you need. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking any meals necessary. The back yard is a great place to relax. All the rooms have TVs but not really needed if your enjoying everything the house has to offer. We enjoyed playing games on the deck and playing cornhole outside. Also the he house is located great for easy trips to the store, restaurants, and mini golf. Overall it was a great trip and will definitely return to this location on my next OBX trip

We had an amazing time! The location was perfect for hanging at the beach and sightseeing all over the island. Home was lovely and comfortable for our family and the fire pit and hot tub were a great way to relax at the end of the night. We had an incredible time and made many memories!

This is our second year at La Dolce Vita OBX and we cannot say enough great things about the house, location and owners! The layout is great with 2 bedrooms on each floor - providing added privacy and division where needed! The outdoor shower, laundry room, hot tub and BEACH GEAR is every mother's dream come true. If you are picky and want the best home away from home.. look no further! Countdown begins for our 2023 visit...

We had a wonderful time staying in the Outer Banks and this house enhanced our trip! The proximity to the beach made it so easy to go to see the sunrise, take a walk, or set up for a day by the shore. The house was even better than the photos! The master bedroom was beautiful! As my 17 year old niece said, “The whole house is aesthetically pleasing.” Laila was a pleasure to rent from. She answered all of our questions and checked-in on us during our stay. We would definitely stay here again:

My family and I had an amazing time here! So many good memories created that will last a lifetime. The house was perfect and the host was amazing with good communication and very helpful!

Kill Devil Hills was a great property for a family vacation. We had 3 adults and 4 children. The property had enough bedrooms with comfortable beds and fresh linens. There were bath and hand towels in every room. The kitchen was well equipped with pots/pans, good set of knives, and dishes of various sizes to serve family dinners. The only suggestion we would have is to add an additional kitchen towel. Each floor had its own thermostat to control the temperature. A person came twice to check on the bath tub water quality in the backyard. The house was very clean and obviously recently renovated. The house is 5 mins to the beach, we were able to come and go as needed, to meet the sunrise and enjoy the sunset. Outside shower was great to get the sand off before going inside. There were beach buggies in the garage which was very convenient to carry our things back and forth. When everyone was tired and needed some lounging time, we enjoyed the family room with a large couch and watching some movies on the big screen TV (there was one in each room). It was a pleasure to meet with the owner of the property, Laila. She was welcoming and left us a kit to make smores at the backyard fire pit (a big hit with the kids) and a bottle of wine. She responded to the booking immediately and communicated before the stay to know what to expect and how to check in. We had a great time and would definitely love to stay at this property again in the future.

Staying here was perfect for our two families with children. The house has plenty of space and accommodations to keep all of us occupied with the extra touches and short distances to everything - including being walking distance to the beach! Thank you Laila for sharing your beautiful home!

Updated property and furnishings had all the essentials and features you'd need...from great furnishings to a very well stocked kitchen to beach toys and bikes. It is in a more commercial area of OBX between the two main roads so there is some traffic noise, but very convenient to everything.

They really thought of everything! This house had anything you could need for a vacation. The backyard was great for the evenings, and the fact that it was fenced in made it a great space for the kids to run around. The house was very comfortable and the proximity to the beach was perfect! We threw the kids and beach gear into the beach wagons (there for you to use) and walked right down the street to the beach every day. We also really enjoyed the bikes! Would absolutely book again!

My family of four enjoyed a splendid stay at this well-furnished and immaculate home. The location is 5 minutes to the beach and minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. The living areas were well-appointed and the right mix of stylish and comfortable. Beds were extremely comfortable and bedrooms/bathrooms were spacious and bright. Living areas were extremely comfortable and had more than enough room for us to spread out. The home has great outdoor space as well, including two decks, a fire pit (we made s'mores!), a hot tub (yay!), and a pergola (we were so comfy elsewhere that we didn't use this, but we will next time!). The owner provides tons of beach gear - boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, coolers, beach toys - and activity gear - bikes, corn hole, some lawn games). The owner is amazingly courteous and responsive - she really wanted us to relax and enjoy our stay and went out of her way to make us feel welcome and at home. We will definitely be back. This was a five-star beach vacation and my family loved this home.

The property was exactly as advertised, in fact, we thought even better than advertised. Easy comunication with quick responses. Wonderful, clean, modern, beautifully styled home. The beds were so comfy! We loved everything about it. The kids used the outdoor shower all week! The outdoor space was perfect and beautiful. A lovely welcome gift greeted us on arrival! I would highly recommend a stay at this property, and there is a quick and easy walk to the beach. W loved everything about it.

From the moment we walked in, we knew it was going to be a good week which it definitely was even though the weather didn’t want to agree, but even then there were board games, cards TV and things to do. The kitchen was very well Stocked and had everything we needed and more. The gas grill was used often and we were close to everything if we wanted delivery. The beach gear and bikes in the garage were in good condition and we used them as often as we could. The bike trails on the sound side were an easy trip and connected to the Wright brothers memorial. The walk to the beach was easy as well as Food Lion which is was very clean and well Staffed. The hot tub, fire pit and backyard oasis were a great plus for this home. The host, Laila, was easy to reach at all times and was knowledgeable of the area and was able to provide recommendations. We created many family memories this week that we will cherish.

LOVED this home for our family/friends vacation. The home is fully loaded with everything you could think of to make your vacation smooth. Laila was very attentive to all my messages and gave me some great recommendations for local restaurants. Very short walk to the beautiful beach and all the neighbors were very friendly. The deck is a great size to play games and is where we ate most our meals. I absolutely must mention the decor because I was obsessed, lol. Laila did a wonderful job making the house look like a comfy home! From the master suite to the living space to the large laundry room space with utility sink and wine fridge & amazing fenced in back yard with fire pit, clean hot tub, beautiful sitting area & very private outdoor shower……. It all played a big part in a very relaxing weeks of vacation! Highly recommend!!

Great location! House was very clean and came with great beach gear, the bikes where a big hit! All communication with the home owner was answered within hours! Would highly recommended this house! It was our first time visiting out banks and we really liked this location, not congested at all.

The house is beautiful and had everything we could possibly need/want! There is a hot tub and fire pit w chairs in a fenced in yard. Wonderful privacy! There is an outdoor shower that we couldn’t use enough! Inside the house is very nicely decorated and the beds are comfortable. Picnic table outside on one of the covered balconies was great to have meals on. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this house! Also Laila, the owner, answered all of my questions almost immediately and had great input on where to eat out and things to do. The walk to the beach is 5 minutes, maybe less if you don’t have kids slowing you down. In the garage there are beach chairs, a wagon, a cooler, boogie boards, 2 beach umbrellas, and bikes. It was great to have these things when we went to the beach. Definitely had a great time at this house and made memories to last a lifetime! I would absolutely recommend this house to anyone!

Wonderful time. Laila was super accommodating. The backyard was magical. Quick walk to beach. Rooms comfortable. Beach toys and chairs great addition. We would like extra blankets in the future. Bring your own beach towels.

Everything was great and the owners were very responsive when there was a problem. They only thing they couldn't fix was the weather!

Wow! This house was amazing. First the location was perfect. It was less than 5 minutes to walk to the beach. There was also plenty to do and great restaurants and a grocery store within a mile. The house itself was adorable. It was very clean and organized. There were 6 adults in my group and there would have been room for more. The hot tub and fire pit kept us entertained. There was also plenty of beach gear and games left out to use. Laila was very quick to respond and extremely accommodating of my group. She was very helpful before, during, and after my stay. I would absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend this house to anyone!

If you are looking for a rental in the middl of the outer banks with easy access to the beach you cannot go wrong with this property!

I can’t say enough positive things about our stay at this property or the outstanding customer service given by Laila. She was always quick to respond to my questions before and during the trip. I appreciate the way she took the time to answer all of our questions and do what she could to make our visit go smoothly. The house is beautiful and very welcoming. It had all the comforts of home and was nicely updated. I appreciated the closeness to the beach as well. It only took us about 5 minutes to walk to the beach. We loved sitting out by the fire pit at night and sitting on the porch reading a book. The house is a great size. This trip only included my partner and me but in the future, we’d definitely consider bringing our kids here. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks for your hospitality Laila!!
