Location was fine, close to the beach.

Room was very disappointing. Bed uncomfortable (mattress soft and lumpy; bed linen not ironed.) No TV or kettle in the room initially. A TV was provided later. Kettle was in the kitchen, so I had to leave the bedroom to make a coffee. (Not as advertised when booked). Shared bathroom was not spotlessly clean. (Bin had not been emptied and looked like broken glass in it). Although it looked reasonably clean, I did not feel entirely comfortable that it had been thoroughly cleaned and sanitised in these Covid times.

The host was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The place was clean, nice temperature, and spacious. Great shower too! Short walk from Hove main street, and a longer walk to Brighton (30-40 mins) or a lovely short cycle
