We stayed at this unit for 5 nights. Here are some observations made during our stay. Pro: A Place at the Beach “resort” was well managed. There was security and a good check in process. The pool, proximity to the beach and other amenities were great. Grills, basketball courts, etc were all great and in good condition too. Cons: This unit is not “recently remodeled” as described. Unless one would consider flooring and paint remodeled. It’s age shows everywhere else. Including the kitchen vent from the 60’s and AC unit that is ready for launch it was so loud. Don’t plan on using hot water in more than one location at a time. The TV’s were difficult to control and the instructions provided were not correct. We visited 2 other units while staying here. Both were definitely remodeled. This unit is far from it. There is 1 elevator for this building and it is at the other end from this unit. Slow and small making it difficult to maneuver carts. The elevator was closer to the beach end, fyi. No laundry in this unit but others do have available laundry. Their vents feed into the main walking areas so it gets hot and stuffy in the corridors. Navigating the complex can be confusing but after a few days you’ll learn what stairs go where. Overall: I would stay at A Place at the Beach again but I would consider a unit other than this one. On vacation, we spend very little time in the room/condo. We use it to shower and to sleep. The condo was clean and nice.

A wonderful experience with check-in and check-out. Host is quick to reply to messages and very friendly! Convenient location to town and a great view from the room! Definitely added to one of my top places to stay for future trips visiting the beach.

If you don’t need a big place or large kitchen, this place is just right for you. It is nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable. No concerns.

This condo is nicely situated in the center of the building with great views of the pool and play area as well as the ocean. It was nice to be able to keep an eye on the kids from the balcony. The condo was nicely furnished and well stocked. We enjoyed the property and would stay again.

Absolutely great stay! The condo was wonderful, super clean and the host did a wonderful job on all the instructions you need! We can't wait to stay again!

This property is amazing! Pool, slide, hot tub, easy beach access. Condo is small but not inconvenient. Slept 6 comfortably and 2 with full baths there is no waiting like in a hotel room! Galley kitchen is cozy, but still able to prepare easy summer meals, saving $$ not having to eat out all the time. Already making plans for next year.

The unit was great!! It had everything we needed and the location was perfect! It was roomy and very clean.

The property was clean and perfect for a small family getaway.

The only thing I found was the property was not clean, I chose to go buy cleaning supplies, trash bags. Other than that it was absolutely great place, My kid had the best time, it was very family oriented. I will be going back just hope the cleaning people do a better job.

The property had a high level of security. All the amenities were as listed. The condo was comfortable for my husband and I. I would suggest new mattresses for both beds. We were there during the nor’easter so the weather didn’t cooperate. We did get a few good days though. We were pleased with the condo.

This was our first trip staying in this particular unit but not our first stay at A Place at the Beach. Having a 5 year old and a 14 year old is sometimes hard when planning a vacation but with this complex, it had something fun for the whole family, no matter the age! There’s so many things to do within there within the complex that you don’t have to leave! We spent majority of our time by the pool, on the water slide. The basketball court was a huge hit, and looked to be newly renovated. The beach access was well lit in the evening for a quick stroll. The condo location was absolutely perfect, overlooking the playground and pool area, and not too far away from the beach access at all. Check in and check out was incredibly fast and the condo was stocked with everything we needed for our 4 day stay. The only thing I would suggest would be more towels for the shower and maybe a few small nightlights in the condo for nighttime. Our stay was fantastic and we can’t wait to come back again!

Check in on Saturday night was very smooth. Condo was imaculate and smelled like they had just finished cleaning. The only issue we had was we were notified on Sunday by maintenance the elevator was going down on Monday and would be down all week. We were assured that we would have access to the elevator due to mobility and breathing issues. Spent the day stressed over the issue. Talked to owner and property management to see if we could find a resolution. Took a few hours to get things figured out but the owners and property management worked together to resolve the problem and we were moved to another condo that was on the first floor. Still had steps but not as many and had a straight walk on the boardwalk to the beach. Thankful that we were able to stay the rest of our trip and not have to stress to much over mobility and breathing issues due to health problems. Thank you to the owners and property management for working together to save our vacation.

Lots of good amenities, great value.

We loved the space, the privacy of the different rooms, and the space its self was very relaxing, the perfect convenience for everything you need or want to do great view of the back overlooking the pool and ocean ! We had a wonderful stay!! Property Host was excellent at accommodating our requests, We cant wait to go back with the kids.

Amenities are great-so many activities from pool and waterslide to sports. The facility is a little musty (hallways). The condo does sleep 5 or 6, but the pullout bed is not comfortable and the condo is very small for that many people. The kitchenette is also very cramped so if you plan to do much cooking for yourself, that will be frustrating. The proximity to the beach is awesome as are the outdoor facilities.

Property was nice. My only complaint would be the cookware. It was not in good condition so it was very hard to cook food without it sticking.

It was a beautiful stay. Kinda far from places and things we wanted to do. But overall location and property were nice!

Usually don't do reviews. The last day we stayed we decided to go to the outdoor pool instead of the beach. Family goes down at 10, I come down around 11. Around noon 3 girls around drinking age showed up. Turn on their music kind of loud but no big deal to me some didn't like it. When the drinking started we got a show dancing wildly being loud. The more drinking the worst it got. Someone must have complained cause somebody showed up,talked to them for a few minutes. Things stop for less than 5 minutes when one of their favorite songs comes on. Then that's when the show started. Dancing, filming themselfs, group pictures. One girl picked up a guy, he got in the pool & they started making out. I looked around & everyone was watching evening young kids. Finally staff showed up again & They stop got out of the pool. One girl drink too much & passed out. Called rescue squad for 2 times. What a mess. During all this the pool was closed cause of the lightning. Everyone had to leave the pool area except this girl. I'm telling this story cause it ruined my last day on vacation. The staff was really on top of things the 4 days we were there. We got a notice for a bathing suit hanging on the railing, so see the staff is on top of things except lewd & loud behavior. Would i stay there again? I will look at other place before I consider them again.

We enjoyed our stay! Owner was very responsive when we had questions. Great place to stay for kids and was the perfect size for our family.

Property is outdated. Very dirty and cockroaches. Flooding because of poor drainage system. Parking lot and courtyard was flooded. Parking was horrible and the security guards are way to intense in the swimming pool sera. Just a bad vibe. Will not come back. Very disappointed.

We had a family reunion at this resort and rented four properties. Everyone enjoyed it and would do it again.
