This was an awesome home with everything we needed

I did this rental as a sponsor (non-staying parent) for my college aged son and 13 of his friends for spring break 2023. SPI rentals was very accommodating and helped get this under 25 year old crowd of young men into a property where they thoroughly enjoyed themselves for several days. Glad they helped make some memories and glad this group of old friends enjoyed themselves. Thanks SPI rentals, you made the process through phone communication and texts very simple and efficient. Although I did not stay on the property or see it, my son and his friends said it was excellent and very close to everything and the beach.

What a beautiful home! We wish it was actually ours. Spacious, and room for everyone to do as they please. So close to the beach, and a quick drive to the entertainment, District and the beach bars. We will definitely be back!

Great location! Responsive team! Could have had a few more additions for the price. Hair dryers, more towels, beach towels and more beach stuff would have made our stay 5 star. We contributed a wave board and cooler for the beach. No way to get them home.

Great time at a great place for a family get together. Some logistical problems, but good response from staff fixed those issues.

Great space for large group, beautiful, well appointed. Plenty of seating inside and outside, very nice pool and spa. SPI rentals do a great job and promptly respond to any requests. Stay here, you'll be happy with the accommodations.

There were no surprises about the property. It was just was it was displayed online. We had a couple requests and the property managers had it all ready and it was a perfect 4 days. We will be back!

Great property and great location!

Thoroughly enjoyed family time. Not an issue but listing stated room with bunk beds sleeps eight but sleeps four is more appropriate if you have teenagers.

In general, the home is very accommodating and spacious, housekeeping was not the best, exterior furniture is deteriorated and very dirty, some interior furniture needs replacing asap. We were not able to turn on the spa.:(( We liked the location close to the beach.

This was a great home with a ton of space and very close to the beach. Will definitely be looking to stay here again.

This rental was perfect! Gorgeous, clean, close to the beach! The pool was so inviting! My visitors didn't even want to leave the house! We had one minor issue with the A/C that was fixed immediately! I will definitely go back!

My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property! We had plenty of room, felt like it was cleanly, and spent the majority of our time in the amazing backyard. I loved the renovation! Would highly recommend to anyone and hope to stay here again soon.

Perfect house for big family vacation

La casa esta muy hermosa, muy amplia, súper limpia, el mobiliario tal como en las fotos, excelente para nuestro grupo de 15 personas y un bebe. La alberca muy calentita y el equipamiento muy adecuado. Solo Nos falto la vista al mar desde el balcón, pero la caminata hacia la playa fue más rápida de lo que pensé. Volvería con gusto!!! Nós encantó

Wow! What an amazing rental home! Big, bright, & spacious. The walk to the beach was awesome, super close, plenty of parking if you wanted as well. The garage was a great space to store all beach items. (They also had a cooler, beach cart, beach toys, beach chairs, floaties, pool noodles) We asked and they said it had nothing.. so we brought a bunch of stuff that wasn't needed :/ Few flaws; when we arrived the floor was covered in sand.. nothing a swiffer couldn't handle, but that wasn't the best greeting! The air only goes down to 68, which is not the coldest on the hot hot days! The kitchen, there was no pizza cutter, pans were in need of replacing, needing new measuring cup and mixing bowls, but such a beautiful layout! The dryer took forever to dry clothes also.. like half the day.. But the number 1 issue, the pool! After calling for 4 days in a row, they finally fixed it. The pump wasn't working, the filter was packed with sand (yuck) the pool wasn't cleaning/filtering correctly. That isn't fun to know. And it wasn't heating right. They would come to -fix it-and it was be TOO HOT to put your feet in. Then they'd come and -fix it- and simply shut it off so it was TOO COLD to swim in! The second to last day they finally called a pool company and they solved it and it worked for our last day….. I don't know if these issue would deter us from staying again.. Maybe the yellow or pink house we would have better luck (;

We enjoyed our stay here. Very clean and beautifully furnished. Heated pool and hot tub was great. The 3 minute walk to beach was nice. Would definitely stay here again.

The house was just as described. Great location. Pool was smaller than appears in the picture but there was plenty of room for all of us to enjoy it. The rental agency was very quick to respond to any issues we had. Our only complaint was that the house has very little insulation and is somewhat loud inside. I think if there were more rugs on the tile floors that would help. We would definitely stay here again

We stayed for a week and enjoyed every minute! House is nicely decorated and the open concept is perfect for a crowd. Any issues we had were quickly addressed and all SPI employees were pleasant. Easy walk to the gorgeous beach and the hot tub was nice in the cool evening!

Need instructions for pool,hot tub,etc. Had been told there was a king bed on first floor. My husband and I have difficulty with stairs. The pool light flashed on and off all night the first night keeping my daughter's awake in the back bedrooms. Had trouble with the door deadbolt and were stuck until maintenance came. Need safety rails for pool and hot tub access.

The place was extremely nice.. we have enjoyed all the time with pool and house.. pls provide some mosquito controls.

We stayed at this lovely house for 6 days with a family of 12, comprised of 6 adults and 6 kids ranging from 6 months to 13 years old. We are VRBO “frequent flyers” and travel with this group at least once a year, so we have a pretty good gauge of what to expect in a VRBO house. This one was really great and we’d stay again in a minute. We appreciate having details on where we’re staying, so here’s our “pros and cons” list. As you’ll see, the cons are pretty minor, but good to know ahead of time: 1. All 5 bedroom have a private bathroom which is hard to find. The bathrooms were well maintained and the beds were really comfortable. In addition 3 of the rooms had a balcony which was nice to relax on and we used then to watch the fireworks at night. . They also had plenty of storage for your cloths and gear. Really no cons. 2. The pool and hot tub were well maintained and a welcome break from the beach. The pool is actually smaller than the pictures appear (about 25x25) but still big enough for all of us. The pool area also has plenty of chairs and a nice table if you want to eat outside. The only issue we had was when the maintenance crew came while we were at the beach and moved the grass, leaving lots of grass clipping in the pool. 3. The kitchen and eating area were large and well laid out. We always cook breakfast and dinner and the appliances were top of the line. The ice maker worked great and provided plenty of of ice for the beach. It was well stocked with enough equipment to cook for our big group with plenty of utensils. Our only real con was the lack of supplies. We are used to VRBO’s that have more of the basics. They did supply a “starter” of paper products and soap, but we had to buy a lot of basic things that are normally supplied including shampoo, napkins, trash bags, coffee filters and salt & pepper. In addition, all food products from previous stays were removed, so the cupboards were completely bare. We’re used to finding things like catsup and mustard from previous stay, but there was absolutely nothing. That could have been from COVID-19 restrictions, but keep it in mind when you visit. In addition, it’s the first time we’ve stayed somewhere that did not provide a hair dryer. At a beach location this is really a necessity. There also are no beach towels, so be sure to bring your own. All in all, this is really a great house! Don’t hesitate to book it!

Property was exactly as described. We were very comfortable, and enjoyed our stay.

The house was beautiful and felt like home. The beach was a short walk and the island was in perfect form. We would definitely stay here again.

I am not a review person but I simply cannot help myself this time! This place was amazing! It is bright, beautiful, clean, stocked with everything we needed to cook and feed our family! The couple little issues we had (basically we needed a TV and pool heater tutorial) were handled within minutes of our call to SPI Rentals! We had such a fabulous time, if you are looking for a beach house in South Padre this one will not disappoint!
