Cleanliness and a thoughtful level of supplies were stocked

The steep climb to the apt, especially if you are having to drive with people and luggage in the car. The parking space is very restricted to maneuver; some other vehicles were parked not with all the considerations that should have been.

Beautiful apartment. Lovely living space and two lovely bedrooms. Perfect for us with a two year old. Close to restaurants, cafes, ice cream parlour and the beach.

The car park space is very tight. The hill to the apartment is very steep. Fine for us but maybe difficult if you have mobility problems.

Brilliant location very close to the beach, with a sea view from the front bedroom. Apartment very clean and immaculately presented with everything you could possibly need. Comfortable lounge with 2 large sofas, decent size TV and properly functioning heating. As our stay was end of September, we appreciated that extra bit of comfort.

The property is on a very steep hill, which we did cope with, but I would imagine some people might struggle with. The parking space was a little tight to get in and out, but as we have a rear camera on our car, I did manage it. Could have been tricky with a very long car. However, parking is at a premium so having a dedicated space was a luxury.

Wonderful quiet location, just off the Esplanade; only 50yd walk to the beach down the steep hill. The apartment was cleaned to a very high standard, and there were new white goods in the kitchen. The beds, chairs and sofas were comfortable and there was plenty of room at the kitchen table. When there was a hiccup, the owner was easy to contact and quickly resolved the problem.

The description correctly states 'parking' however, this is only for one vehicle and as the apartment sleeps 6, it is highly likely that at least 2 vehicles will be used. Alternative parking is available at a cost, at the long stay car park a short distance away.

Location was perfect, ok hill was step but not bad. Stunning views, amazing apartment. Everything was prefect just went to fast.

Great location near the sea, and local bars and restaurants.very spacious accommodation for the two of us, very clean, everything we needed was available.

There was nothing in the accommodation we didn’t like. The road up to the accommodation from the beach is very steep, and the parking space could be a bit tight if you had a large vehicle.

Beautifully decorated and furnished. Kitchen has dishwasher, washing machine andfridge freezer. Very well equipped kitchen. Seaview from front bedroom. Minutes to the beach. Huge sitting room with comfy sofas. Monsoon shower. Very close to the Spyglass Inn which serves excellent food

Parking space was appreciated but a challenge to get in and out of- drop at one end! The adjacent space very close so was difficult to get in. On dustbin day everyone's bins surround the Parking space so hadto move all bins to get out.

Apartment was exceptionally clean, clearly recently refurbished. Didn't hear a peep out of the neighbouring apartments. Literally a stone's throw from the beach, depending upon your technique. Lovely sea view from the front bedroom.

Honestly these are absolutely minor complaints, but I felt a bit hesitant to cook anything much because the instructions ask you not to cook anything smelly, and I wasn't sure what exactly that would constitute. It mentioned curry specifically, but fish? Garlic? So tended to eat blander than I otherwise would. That said I understand lingering food smells could be an issue for a holiday apartment! The beds were very soft, but I'm sure my bed would be very hard to some. Can't please everyone, eh?

Very steep although manageable road setting, parking at the top of steep hill was tricky although manageable for a small car - a large car would struggle to park here.

Superb location 60 seconds from the beach and esplanade. One parking space, which is a bonus in Ventnor. All facilities up to standard. Tea, coffee, salt, pepper, sugar. Cling film (a little). Plenty of crockery etc Although there was accommodation above and below, this did not cause any issues.

Very little we didn't like. If pushed, I would suggest providing some deck chairs for the beach. Although well stocked, the kitchen lacked a potato masher, foil, and casserole dish. These are minor points. A welcome pack is always appreciated of course, but some properties are still reluctant to provide due to Covid.

The property was modern and immaculate throughout. The view of the sea from the front bedroom was so inviting I went for a swim before breakfast each morning. I would not hesitate to return and enjoy another stay at Joe's place.

The location is amazing - it literally is only metres from the beach and so very quiet with fabulous opportunities to walk and explore. The property itself is exceptional and has to be one of the best places we have stayed in.

It's a small thing (and totally personal) - I love a bath - but it certainly wouldn't deter me from staying again (in a heartbeat:)) - but absolutely nothing to take exception to in this apartment.

Absolutely loved it, the sea acted as a lullaby for the family every night. Clean, beautifully decorated and close to the beach.

No outside area

From the minute we arrived the perfect location easy parking adjacent to property & easy check in. Joe made it very easy & clear before arriving with every detail needed for our stay. The cleaning was to a very high standard & the property is decorated high spec!! As you walk in it has very homely, clean with a bright welcoming feel. Beds are super comfy I had the best night sleep & from one of the bedrooms you have a perfect view to watch the waves & sit by the window, super relaxing! If you want a beautiful home from home stay I highly recommend this apartment! Everything is top notch! I also left my handbag behind & Joe kindly sent it back for me. I will be back x

The only thing was that check in is 16:00, I stay in rented apartments frequently and prefer the usual 14:00 check in apart from that there is nothing else to fault.

Everything was clean and new. The location is 50m to the beach promenade and close to pubs, restaurants and cafes. Very spacious and fully contained facilities throughout. Good choice. 👍
