The property manager is not only misrepresenting the owners, who are absolutley wonderful but the prospects to rent the unit. I specifically asked if there were any stairs in the unit. I was told my managemant that once you get in, it was at ground level, not mentioning the 14 stairs to get to the ground level. My elderly mother had a really hard time. This unit was beautifully decorated. Tub and floor was filthy

Came to Leadville to visit my daughter and help with wedding planning. CopperTop is located in a quiet location on the east side. The apartment is well appointed and clean. It boasts modern fixtures with a flair of historic Leadville. Check-in is a breeze and parking is available on the street. After a long day of planning and playing, it is nice to return to a quiet place to unwind and sleep in a very comfortable bed with lots of pillows. There is even a TV in each room, that is, if you have any time after a long day out and about on the trails or sightseeing! Would definitely book again!

Wow, was my first impression when we walked in. The unit is so warm and cozy (and it was cold outside!). And the decor made it feel like home. The beds were so comfortable, the kitchen well equipped and the Wifi, TV were awesome. This is a hidden gem that I selfishly want to keep to myself.

Super comfortable. Beautiful location. We spent most of our time hiking on many different trails.

My husband and I wanted a break from 2020 in a socially distanced sort of way, so we thought that a trip to the Rockies away from the hustle and bustle of the resorts sounded nice. Leadville is a very nice small town way up in the mountains and has just the right mix of restuarants and shopping without being overblown and crammed. After looking at all the pictures online, we rented "Coppertop Getaway" from High Rocky Homes. It is a perfect size home to rent, well decorated and comfortable. The location is perfect, being 30 seconds from the main street in town and also backing up to the wilderness east of town. The house was a perfect jumping off spot for hikes (literally walk out the door and head east) ... trails all over the side of the mountain. We climbed Mt. Elbert (my first 14er!), and took a trip down to Buena Vista for the Hot Springs. After every adventure we came back to that wonderful house, cooked a nice dinner and cozied up and watched a show on TV. It was truly fantastic. We loved the atmosphere in Colorado/Leadville so much we can't wait to get back next year, and explore more of those trails right out the door.

I can't say enough wonderful things about this place. The decor was gorgeous. The owner has thought of EVERYTHING including a gift basket of snacks! The beds are comfy and a lot of extra blankets and towels are provided. The attention to detail in the decor is amazing. Tons of beautiful, local artwork. Also, the kitchen is very well appointed with everything you need including several spices. The location is great too! I highly recommend this place. You won't be disappointed!

I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, organization, and amenities of this unit. I would rent it again and recommend it to anyone.
