Beautiful village and location is perfect for exploring Essex and Suffolk

Coat hooks would have been useful, also hooks on bedroom doors. Cooker hob and oven difficult to operate in spite of reading directions several times. Drawer space in downstairs bedroom would have been helpful.

Clean and comfortable, well appointed kitchen with lots of utensils.

Lovely and clean. Welcoming and warm and a little welcome pack of milk, orange juice and biscuits!

very cosy property, extremely clean. Bed was very comfortable and it was lovely and warm in the lodge. the owners were lovely, and went out of their way to help us when asked.

The property was very clean, very well appointed and modern. There was a lovely welcome/arrival pack;- fresh flowers, milk, fruit juice, biscuits, tea, coffee and sugar, which was very nice. It was ideally placed for our needs and located in an exceptionally quiet village.

The only criticism I'd have, and it is a relatively minor one, was the quality of the double bed mattress. The mattress itself was comfortable enough however, there seemed to be a ridge in the middle that made me roll to the edge of the bed.

Absolutely fabulous property very high spec and clean. Hosts were also very welcoming and friendly, we will be returning when visiting family :)

Beautiful location, well thought out layout. Clean, warm and comfortable. We were left a few bits which were much appreciated after our long journey. The dogs and cats were friendly as were our hosts. We really enjoyed stay and would return.
