The house was great for our needs. Everything very clean and tidy, beds made up for us. Cottage kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. Hosts very contactable and replied to messages and questions quickly. Nothing was too much trouble. It was a nice touch for the hosts to have left some milk and a few tea bags, sugar etc. The garden was lovely, garden table and chairs left out for us to use and the garden was very well kept.

The only slight issue a couple of us had (5 stayed) was waking early due to light curtains that let the daylight in, easily solved by us using eye masks, but host may wish to consider some black out blinds or curtains in the future. Parking is limited but we always managed to get parked somewhere in the hamlet.

Really comfy beds and bedding. Slept really well. The bedrooms are lovely and cosy. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything you need.

Mel is extremely helpful. The property is lovely and cosy and very homely. Convenient location and lots of nice pubs nearby. We’d recommend the Crown at Pantygelli and Hunters Moon at Llangattock (further on from Abergavenny). Lovely.

Gorgeous cottage with a homely feel! Well equipped and in a lovely location with walks on your doorstep (and a pub too!) The house was sparkling clean and all the facilities were of such a high standard. Thank you - we had a great time and thanks for all your recommendations!

very close to the road but luckily the double glazed windows take some of the noise.

it was clean and comfortable and for us the location was perfect for helping out and attending a large family wedding in Abergavenny.

Special mention to the host. The communication was the best I have ever had with so much help, advice and recommendations for the local area.

The Bell pub was closed when we went, I think it’s under renovation.

Really lovely cottage with tasteful interior decor that has been done to high standard. Spotlessly clean and very comfortable and warm. Owners were accommodating, helpful and quick to respond to enquiries. Pretty garden too, though it was too cold for us to enjoy during our visit. Fab location for exploring the Brecon Beacons. We were disappointed that the local pub a few doors up had not reopened for business but there's a beautiful riverside walk up to the Dragon's Head from the cottage, which we'd recommend for good pub fare at very reasonable prices.

Property is on a busy main road (A40) so guests staying in the rooms at the front experienced disturbed sleep. Room at the rear blissfully quiet.

The cottage location provides easy access to head into the Brecon Beacons, I was so pleased to have found this nice little cottage. The beds are the best I have ever had in a rental. The upstairs bathroom has a walk-in shower and the downstairs has a bath/shower. Host Mel provided us with a beautiful alternative route to get to the Pen Y Fan trails and Kel gave us a nice little castle tip, we would have never seen it otherwise and we were very happy we did. The hosts are highly communicative and help out when the need arises. Our stay was much too short and we felt a sting of sadness when we left. A sure sign of a good holiday.

The cottage was clean and tidy. Had all the facilities needed. The comfiest bed ive ever slept it.

Garden was excellent Comfy bed Furnished to a high standard

Two of the three bedrooms are next to a very busy trunk road. Even with ear plugs it was difficult to get much sleep due to the noise.

Excellent location with easy street parking. Close to many great walks. Cottage had everything we needed.

Everything was good.
