Great vacation home. Beautiful on every level

Our family enjoyed the yearly summer vacation at this lovely home. It was roomy for all of us with lots of different activities. My grandson loved fishing from the dock. My granddaughters enjoyed the kayaks. We were able to have s’mores around the fire pit. I loved sitting on the swing on the dock watching the sunset and the beauty of nature. The back porch is a great area to relax and read or play cards. The added bonus of the nearby pool was a big hit for all of us. We all had a very fun family vacation. Thanks Jay and Nicole!!

Our family had a great time. We enjoyed the lake and the pool at the club house. Everyone enjoyed playing pool and ping pong downstairs. The trip was very peaceful and relaxing. We stayed on the screened in porch most of the time playing cards. The fire table was nice for doing s’mores. We had trouble with the internet going in and out.

House had most of what you would need. Lake and dock area supplied for water fun. Floates and kayaks were well used. Boat lift great. Walk to water ok going down. You get your exercise. Great house.

The house is as advertised. It has 3 living areas which is great to spread out. Even with it being the week before July 4 the boat traffic was minimal. We had a great time playing games, swimming, and kayaking.

The property was perfect for our yearly vacation with our daughters and our grandchildren. We rented a pontoon boat that we docked at the house. The older kids fished off the dock in the morning and evening and the young ones enjoyed the swimming. We also enjoyed the pool that was in the community. The size of the home allowed us to comfortably visit with friends and family that lived in the vicinity. Would highly recommend!

We stayed at this lovely property for my daughter’s graduation from Clemson. The house is very spacious and offers tons of amenities. We went kayaking, fishing and played ping pong and we loved the covered porch. Jay and Nicole were super accommodating and responsive. It was the perfect place for our celebration!

This house is really ideal for many reasons. The layout of the home has 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths. It has many areas for family to gather including a tv/game room in basement area & an awesome screened porch with dining and lounge area with a gas fire pit. We enjoyed the gas fire pit area so much. We were there at a cooler time of year so it was great. Everything was clean and the decor was on point. The owners thought of everything you may need while staying on Lake Hartwell. It was a super choice for my family. We would like to stay here again sometime.

Spent a weekend here with some friends and it was everything we wanted! The host was very responsive and the property was very well equipped. The outdoor space was lovely to use even in the winter. Would definitely recommend and stay again!

This home was perfect! Large bedrooms and closets, several huge areas (loft, basement, den/dining open floor plan) for family board or electronic games. It is a short walk to the dock, nice neighborhood to walk around in, parking was convenient and the weather was divine. Our doggos loved the space too. I would highly recommend this location to anyone looking for an escape.

Stayed here for Thanksgiving week and had a great time! Beautiful lake view, gas fire pit on the porch and a real fire pit in the back yard. Something for everyone! House was very nice. High school and college kids loved the ping pong and pool table. Everyone loved the pickle ball courts. House had what we needed to cook meals, play games and spend some time together. Wish it was warm enough to use the lake toys, but we loved the nice fall weather.

Had an awesome Clemson Homecoming weekend with the family. Lake is beautiful. Short drive to stadium. House was amazing. Loved it. Wonderful host.

This property was perfect for my sister’s 3 teens, my 2 teens and our mom for a quick getaway for Fall Break. The kids enjoyed jumping off the dock and kayaking. We loved the comfy screened porch and fire table as well as the outdoor fire pit. We rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Light Marina for the day and spent an amazing day on the water. This property was perfect for our group of 8 with multiple spaces to use for both adults and kids. The owner has added so many thoughtful touches such as extra outlets and fans on the bedrooms and spare toiletries in the baths. The place really had everything we could need, we brought logs for the firepit. Jay was super responsive to my questions over messaging. Don’t hesitate to book this place for your group.

This rental is exactly as promised- several really nice gathering spaces, 3 comfy bedrooms, easy kitchen to cook in and plenty of bathrooms. And the screened porch! Especially appreciated were the welcoming and helpful quick responses from the owner every time we reached out. Makes a big difference! Highly recommend this rental.

Everything was great

House was roomy. Plenty of space to spread out. Path to lake is steep. Swimming was warm and neighbors were friendly. Local store has very limited items so had to go into town to Ingles or Walmart for supplies. No backup toilet paper or paper towels in house. Only enough dish detergent for two loads so had to purchase some and left behind to hopefully pay it forward.

We had 11 family members ranging from 13 to 52 and had plenty of room. The house was laid out perfect for everyone to have their own space. The location was easy to get to with an incredible view of the lake. The dock had plenty of room for 2 boats plus all of our toys with plenty of parking. The home was stock with more than what we needed which was a plus since we forgot a few things at home. The game room was a big hit for us and the kids. We will definitely be back. Best vacation rental we have had so far. Thank you Reese's for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home and being great host.

Over the years we’ve stayed in numerous VRBO properties . . . This home was one of the best. The house and the property are beautiful. Our group of six adults (parents and four grown kids) had a blast. It’s on a great part of the lake - and, if you arrive via Blackjack Rd and Hickory Trail, be prepared for a roller coaster drive (in the best way). The drive goes up, over, and down some big hills with twisty, hairpin turns for fun. Be cautious though, there’s more than one family of deer in the area. The home’s layout takes advantage of every square inch of available space. The furniture is casual, there’s plenty of seating, and it’s comfortable - not at all fussy . . . so we got into vacation mode right away. The loft has a pull-out sofa, a smart-TV, and a card table. We played cards and watched movies up there a couple of the nights. The kitchen is well-stocked and easy to navigate. We cooked every night. A big table easily seats more than our six, so there weren’t any elbow battles at dinner. The bedrooms and baths are away from the living space - which is great when some are staying up late while others get some shuteye. The screened in porch is right off the dining area and is large enough to have dinner outside (weather permitting) or just hang out - or, have brutally long games of Trivia Pursuit or Uno Flip. The lower level has a great game/social area - with a huge TV and Nintendo (which was the source of a lot of noisy fun) after sun-time. There’s a pool table that converts to a ping-pong table. The bedrooms are a good size and the laundry room is tucked away - again, keeping the noise away from sleepers. The walk to the dock is comfortable, compared to some properties on Lake Hartwell, the slope is a breeze. We rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Light Marina and tied it up to the large dock all week. It’s easy in, easy out. I think inexperienced boaters will be okay. Jay and Nicole were very responsive to our questions and were friendly and helpful before we arrived and while we were there. House generally met all requirements......Pathway to lake too steep and not well maintained...All surrounding houses had asphalt pavement and curves to offset steepness and allow a golf cart to be used.....Pool table is bad need of repairs.....(the pool table was one of our requirements....Screened in porch loaded with spider webs and ceiling fans not cleaned in some time......Parking was adequate for four vehicles.....Rest of house was enjoyable except no TV in midlevel living rooms or bedrooms.....Only two tvs for a four bedroom house with living room and game room............If pathway to lake was upgraded, we would consider another stay....Had a great time fishing and caught several nice bass, catfish and bream right off the dock...Owner communicated very well and answered all questions promtly and honestly..............

We had our immediate family and grand children. The lake was the big attraction. Swimming and diving off of the dock and the olympic size community swimming pool was also a favorite activity. We also rented a pontoon boat from Harbor Light Marina for 3 days and enjoyed exploring the lake islands and remote beaches.

We rented for 8 nights for a gift for our children & grandchildren. The home was spacious & comfortable. We loved the screen porch & all the little extras the owners provided. The communication was very good as well. We will recommend to friends and would love to stay again.

Enjoyed the house especially the porch and the dock. The layout of the main floor of the house is nice was plenty of room for my family of 6.

This house has everything you will need for a great stay. We had ten people in our group and there was plenty of space for everyone. The pool table was a big hit! Thank you Jay & Nicole!
