We had the best stay at this property! The location was perfect with all the amenities we could have wanted. The beach gear was wonderful for our family and really helped make our beach time extra fun. Rene was responsive and great to communicate with. We will definitely stay here again and have already told our family about this great find!

We’ve gone to Carlsbad for years now and love it. This place is nice because it’s close to the ramp and easier to take stuff down to the beach rather than having to do the stairs. Also close to the village. The place itself was very comfortable for our family. Needs a little tlc but one of the better places we’ve stayed at. Not as updated as some but the location made it worth it. Also liked having our own parking garage. The owners were great to work with and we’d stay here again for sure.

This is the second time we've stayed at Rene's property and the first time in unit A. The unit is very large and open, plenty of room for our family. The location could not be better. It's only a 5 minute walk to the beach and the unit has chairs, umbrellas, and a wagon to haul our stuff. We could also see the ocean from the patio and the balcony. Having a garage is also nice. We will definitely be back!

Location of this 2 story spacious home was perfect. We could walk into Carlsbad Village to shop & dine or to the beach w ease. As we both work while traveling it’s important that there was plenty of room to set up our work spaces w terrific Wi-Fi !! We will certainly stay here again.

About one half block from the beach. You can only see a small section of the ocean from the outside balcony. Many restaurants and stores very close by. They have beach chairs, beach umbrella, large wagon/cart to load and pull to the beach. The house is roomy with 3 beds, 3 baths. Great garage with opener. Icemaker doesn't work but there are ice trays. Two negatives. The downstairs bedroom closet has the rack to hang clothes fixed at 8 feet so we couldn't reach it. Also security lights come on and light up the bedroom all night. The downstairs bedroom is at the street and there is a lot of traffic noise at night. I would rent here again though as the location is great. I would just stay in one of the upstairs back bedrooms. The manager Rene responds to messages very quickly.

We had a marvellous time in this lovely vacation home. It was close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. Plus the Carlsbad weather is always fantastic.

Great property. Perfectly located between the Villages and the beach. Whether you want to shop, eat or spend the day on the beach it’s only a short walk away. The condo had plenty of room and everything you need to make it a home away from home. The large driveway and 2 car garage made parking very convenient. There were only a couple of minor issues (ceiling fans and outlets not working) but otherwise it was well worth the stay. Already booked our trip for next year.

This is a nice, newer condo just a few steps from the beach in Carlsbad. 3 bedrooms and 3 baths, with double garage. Very nicely decorated. Quick walk to lots of restaurants and shops in Carlsbad Village, and a wonderful walk down the coast along the beach.

Loved the location to the beach and restaurants. Clean and Rene was very easy to communicate with.

We are fairly regular visitors to Carlsbad and have stayed in many Vrbo properties as well as local hotels. I would rate our stay at this property as among the best we have experienced. We rented Unit A which is in the front of the 3-unit building and which has one bedroom and full bath downstairs, and two bedrooms and full baths upstairs. All beds appeared to be king sized, and the master bedroom is particularly large with a walk-in closet and jacuzzi tub in addition to the shower. The living area and kitchen are well designed and comfortable, and there is a small balcony overlooking the street with views to the ocean. The two-car garage w/remote is great to keep your vehicle off the busy street and secure. The location is terrific - a one-minute walk to the beach, and within easy walking distance of all of the shops and restaurants in Carlsbad. Overall, the condition of the unit was excellent. There are some scuffed places on the walls, but I would imagine it is a constant battle to retouch the paint with so many guests and suitcases coming in and out all the time. There are televisions with cable in all rooms, however when we arrived none of the remotes were functioning. I believe they had been moved around the rooms and, after a little research, I was able to re-pair them with the receivers and they were fine for the remainder of our stay. One cable box in a bedroom, however, was missing a power cord so it did not work. The ice maker in the fridge did not work, although there was filtered water through the door. We alerted the owner, but I suspect it has been broken for a while. Old fashioned ice trays would suffice if it can't be repaired. The front left burner on the gas stove would not light - this is something the owner should take care of asap as it is a safety hazard. The sprayer handle on the jacuzzi did not work, or at least we couldn't figure out how to turn it on (the jacuzzi fills with a faucet and turned on ok). A couple of light bulbs were burned out (on the front of the fridge, and the bottom of the microwave), but these were minor inconveniences. As you can see I notice a lot of little details, but they are largely just minor maintenance items and as long as the owner follows up it will remain a wonderful place to visit. We will definitely look it up again and stay here on our next visit.

We spent spring break at this property. It is only a block away from the beach, and close to all the amenities you will need. Grocery store, C-store, restaurants, bars and of course the beach. We had a great stay and plan on going back again.

This is the perfect property in the perfect location. Located right across from the beach, you are so close you can hear the waves breaking at night. You can walk anywhere in the Village in just a few minutes, but if you prefer to drive the garage parking for 2 cars is a big plus. If you need more room, there is easy street parking. The neighborhood is quaint and safe and you really feel welcome. The property was exactly as shown in the photos. Unit A is very spacious, clean and well-appointed. And has a nice view of the ocean. Yes, some of the furnishings are a bit dated, but they are all clean and nice quality. The beds are comfy, the linens seem new, the carpet is clean. The new owner is upgrading and replacing fixtures, furniture, appliances, etc. The property is really quiet - although the other 2 units were full, we never heard a peep from the other families. The owner Rene was incredibly communicative, responsive and available, even over the Christmas holiday when one of the appliances broke. He clearly cares about his renters and the property, which is refreshing and comforting. I highly recommend this property and would definitely stay here again. I

This home was a perfect location, just a block from the beach. With three king size bedrooms and 3 baths, a large kitchen area, patio, and living space, it was the perfect vacation place for our 3 couple vacation. Walking distance from Carlsbad Village made it so convenient to do everything in town. Highly recommend.

Great property and location.

Place was nice, but location fantastic. Super close to beach abs village. Good parking. Only downfall, is the place itself needs some updating, and needs to be better cleaned. Second tub couldn’t be used bc it was so dirty upon arrival, there were a few broken screens on the windows, and just general wear and tear that needs to be updated. Only other complaint is that it would have been nice to have some soap/shampoo for the bathrooms. But otherwise great place!

We loved everything about our stay. The location was great, the property was clean and modern. Rene was always available to help us when we had questions. We'll be back!

The location of this property is awesome! We were a block from the beach and near all the Carlsbad Village Restaurants, all within a few blocks. The property is 3 very large bedrooms and 3 full baths which made it nice to clean up after being at the beach all day. Thank you for a great property to be with family!!!

Great location and great house! Plenty of space for family of 5, close to beach and restaurants. Walked to dinner, watched sunsets, and played in the surf without having to drive anywhere. Rene was super responsive and over all we had a great experience. Would definitely stay here again.

We were within 5 minutes walking distance to the beach. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths were perfect for our family. We have stayed here before and we will stay here again.

My Family and I stayed at this property for a wedding. There was five of us. . We had plenty of room. The bedrooms are large and each bedroom had it's own bath to use. The location is fantastic. Very close to Carlsbad village. One block walk to dinning and shopping. We only had a couple of minor issues with the TV and the garage door opener. I would definitely stay there again.

The house was in the perfect location and was absolutely perfect! We had a few issues upon checking in and the owner made sure to fix them immediately. He was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed! We will definitely be staying here again!

Fantastic location, just a block down from the beach, which means easy access with less noise from the busy road. Also just a couple blocks from village for lots of restaurant choices. Unit is spacious, clean and nicely stocked. Bedrooms are a little bright in the morning, so light sleepers may want to pack eye masks. We would definitely stay here again.
