Jill was very attentive. Room was big and clean. Large bathroom. Big refrigerator. Clean.
The road noises when big trucks went by.

Everything was perfect. The room gives you the feeling of staying in a little palace with it's very ornated furniture and spacious character. Jill was lovely in welcoming us and providing us with lots of tips what to do in the area that payed off. Feeling very welcome and would love to return.

Gute Lage. Das Zimmer befand sich in einem sehr alten Haus, deshalb muss man gewisse Abstriche beim Komfort machen.
Für eine Nacht während unserer NZ-Rundreise war das B&B in Ordnung.
Wir hatten kein Frühstück, können hierzu also nichts sagen.
Sehr überfrachtet mit allem möglichen Trödel, den Waschtisch mussten wir erst einmal freiräumen.

Extremely old fashioned not boutique by any stretch of the imagination. It was like going into a guest house in the seventies!

Jill could not have done more to make us welcome. The room is well set up and in a great location. The Lumberjack Cafe has excellent food (need to book)

Lovely warm welcome, huge room and ensuite, very comfy beds and great continental breakfast setup, the bread especially yummy. Fresh fruit and small choc bars are a nice touch too. Beautiful old style house, close to restaurants. Lovely garden.

Convenient location, easy walk to eateries.
As it’s an old place, power points are not conducive to using jug near tea making supplies (without rearranging power supply to fridge and heater!). Also jug needs quite a bit of fiddling to work !

The room is very clean and warm. The owner, Jill, is very friendly and understandable. The breakfast is delicious and with great variety. We highly recommend staying there if you visit Owaka.

Very large room. Warm welcome . Jill provided great overview of the local sights. Generous continental breakfast. Very quiet even though on the road. walking distance to Lumberjack cafe for dinner.

A lovely, spacious, comfortable room with enough heaters, blankets - and a hot water bottle! - to counter the coldest night of the year. Lovely welcome from my host, and everything I needed in the room.

Totally delightful and with a lovely sunny bay window to eat a delicious breakfast in.
Not their fault but main restaurant in town was closed the 2 days we were there.

A wee microwave for heating something would be great when you don't want to dine out. I realise that may not be a good move. Just a wee suggestion.

Amazing place with friendly and knowledgeable owner. Everything you could want was provided, nice house with original character. Highly recommend to stay here, great little town of Owaka has lots to offer
