Place was very clean and we really enjoyed our stay

The cabin was clean and well cared for. The flow of the cabin was nice and there was plenty for all to do. The owner replied to my questions quickly. Check in went smoothly. The only things I would have wanted to know (and no fault of the owner at all) is that you have to take your trash out with you to a dumpster down the street and the last 15 minutes of the drive is up a crazy windy road. Other than that we enjoyed our stay very much!

We really enjoyed our brief getaway to Burnside. House was great and the digital pinball was an added bonus!

The house was perfect for our group of 5 moms desperately needing to unwind. Very private decks with lovely wooded views. Amply stocked with necessary items (we were glad we brought beach towels for the hot tub). The beds are insanely comfortable. Excellent communication with the host. Would gladly stay here again.

We rented this beautiful cabin over Thanksgiving. It was clean, updated and decorated for the holidays. The hot tub, gas fireplace on the patio and pool table were all added bonuses. It was spacious and perfect for a family of 5. We thoroughly enjoyed it and plan to go back again.

Beautiful home, quiet, privacy, forest in your backyard and an hour drive or less to see waterfalls, trails and marina. Cumberland lake was awesome.

The property is in a nice neighborhood yet offers ample privacy. The kitchen is well stocked, both decks offered peaceful seclusion, and the bed on the main level was very comfortable. Would love to visit again.

We stayed for a long weekend with adult kids and grandkids. It worked out well. The house is set up so that the main level has the main bedroom and one bathroom; and the lower level has two bedrooms and another bathroom with a TV area with futon and a pool table area downstairs as well. The hot tub and screened in porch are on the lower level also. The main level has a nice deck with lots of seating to eat together. We brought chairs to put out by the fire pit but did not need to because there are chairs already provided. It does offer a very big dining room table to eat at. I brought my own vinyl tablecloth and I am glad I did because it’s a wood table. You do need to bring your own beach towels if you plan on swimming or going to the lake. Also they only provide one bath towel per person staying so if you like a clean towel each time you shower you may want to bring extra towels or you will have to do laundry in the washer and dryer which are in the downstairs closet. There is a boat ramp just outside the gate. And Burnside is the closest marina. However we rented a boat from Conley Bottom marina. It was a little farther than I expected but was definitely worth the drive to get the double decker pontoon boat with slide that we wanted. It took us about 45 minutes to get there. Bring plenty of food to cook because there are not any restaurants nearby. But you have all you need to cook in the kitchen. There is a small place just outside the gate that offers pizza and ice cream and coffee. But be advised that they close fairly early. When we got back from the lake it was our plan to order pizzas but they closed by 6:30. We had to go about 13 miles to get pizza. That may not sound like very far but keep in mind the roads are very winding! :) (Also at this time the icemaker does not work but there are ice cube trays provided.) We had a cooler with ice which helped. All in all it was a wonderful weekend. It’s a beautiful place in a beautiful setting. The pool table and the hot tub and the deck and the fire pit were a nice plus. The owners are very responsive and made the check in and check out process smooth.

This cabin was even better than the listing. Super clean and more spacious than pictures appear. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed the nearby pool and some time on the lake. Host was always quick to reply during reservation process.

This home is perfect. The deck is the most awesome addition to this property. We absolutely enjoyed our stay.

Everything was great, very clean.

Had just a quiet getaway. No noise from neighbors. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying a nice cup of coffee in the morning and a burger on the grill in the evening. They had a very nice coffee bar in the kitchen but plan ahead. Nearest groceries are 12 miles away.

It was a wonderful delight staying here. The check-in and check-out process were made extremely simple by the hosts and the house had all the amenities one could ask for. The property is very close to various locations near Lake Cumberland and is nestled away enough to be able to get away from any road traffic noise. I would definitely recommend seeking this place out and considering a stay. Truly a relaxing experience! Thanks to the hosts for the accomodations!+-

Our family had a great time, the cabin was perfect and super clean the only issue we had was the hot tub wasn’t working the 1st couple days but we got a hold of the owners and they had someone come in and fix it right away, The Brott’s are great hosts. We would definitely rent from them again.

At first I was nervous seeing other homes in the area that this might not be a pleasant area but the closer we got to the home I was feeling more at ease. The home is in a gated community, which made me feel more comfortable. The roads to the home are narrow and curvy and takes about 10-15 minutes to get to main road. There was a scent coming from the lower level of dampness. which, I am sure is from the hot tub. Owners did a great job of having items available for their guest. Especially for their guest that have to sleep with a fan on! They had a box fan for every room, thank you for that! :) I can’t speak for the other beds but The bed on main floor was very comfortable.

It was so nice to get away from Indianapolis and spend time with my girls in Kentucky. Morning coffee on the back patio and evenings in the hottub made for great relaxation. Hikes, games of pool, and many games of uno made for many great memories!

We needed some place to go for some study and rest. This home was very clean, in a quiet and peaceful setting. Everything worked as expected. If ever we have the chance to return, we will.

The house is very organized and neat. The owners provide lots equipments and supplies for entertainment. It is a nice place to spend time with friends.

My husband and I decided to get away for the weekend and just leave the world behind. This property was the perfect little spot! The home was spotless and had everything we needed. We've even ordered the same couch for our own home because we loved lounging on it and watching movies all weekend! The hot tub was amazing and clean; the pool table was a big hit, too. We've already planned to return with our entire family. When we first arrived, we ran into a small issue with the lock on the deck's sliding door. We were able to figure it out ourselves after contacting the owners. Jenni's response was almost immediate and she even followed up to make sure we were still comfortable staying. We really appreciated that. All around great experience in a beautiful lake home. Highly recommend!

The cabin was so clean and very tastefully decorated! It was the perfect location for three girlfriends to get together and hang out! We especially enjoyed the hot tub! Hosts were very helpful in providing all the information we would need to get settled in quickly. We are considering this as our annual girls trip destination!

The property was beautiful and the cabin was very spacious. Everything was very clear for check -in and check-out. Our group appreciated that there were many things to do and that there were multiple places in the home that we could gather/utilize.

We enjoyed the cabin very much. Clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. It was nice having a fully stocked kitchen and grill for meals. It was relaxing on the deck area with the gas fire pit. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking. We had fun playing pool as a family. Great place to relax and get away from our busy lives for a few days. Nice waterfalls in the area to check out.

The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The hot tub and fire pit on the deck were wonderful ! Owner was very quick to respond with any questions I had. Cabin is definitely off the beaten path so if you are looking for peace and quiet I highly recommend!

We enjoyed our stay immensely!! The place was extremely clean, had the perfect lake vibe, and had all the necessities. We appreciated having the kitchen fully stocked with cooking/bakeware items; they even had chip clips and shot glasses for use. When we weren’t on the lake; it was nice to have options of going to the community pool, using the hot tub at the house, or just enjoying the private wooded area off the back deck. We highly recommend and will be booking at this property again.

The cabin was super cozy and beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. The beds were so comfortable. Kitchen was fully stocked. The hot tub was fantastic and our kids enjoyed the pool. It was very private. We are looking forward to returning.

Great place with great family amenities! Only downside was the distance from town for groceries/restaurants. But overall a great experience!
