We love staying here! Our family ranges in age from 2 years to 76 and everyone has a fantastic time! There is something to do for everyone from kayaking to fishing to swimming in the lake or just relaxing on the beautiful porch!

It was our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Plenty of room to spread out and kayaks/canoe/paddle board provided. An added bonus is it’s a short hop to Penn Yan and local wineries.

We had a wonderful time in this lovely lake front home. We enjoyed the open layout of the top floor where my family could celebrate my son’s graduation. The kitchen had everything we needed. The lake was so peaceful and we had perfect weather to use the kayaks and water board. We had great conversation around the fire pit each night and my 88 year old parents were thrilled to have an elevator to use so they could join us. Dave was easy to contact and he responds quickly. I highly recommend!!!

We had a great time at this beautiful property. We were 3 generations from teens to 80 and never got bored, lots of games plus table tennis and shuffleboard. The elevator was perfect for my older parents with mobility issues. Make sure you get ice cream from Seneca Farms and bbq from BBQ Shack, both super close and super delicious.

Dave the owner was easy to contact. House was set up perfect for large group. Main open floor plan - living room, large kitchen and dining room with awesome views of lake. Canoes and paddle board for our use too. Perfect location too and parking for four larger vehicles! Thanks to the owners for sharing their beautiful lake home.

Very spacious accommodations for our group of 6 adults with a well equipt kitchen and large dining table. The location made it easy to run into town for groceries or to visit many of the great restaurants in downtown Penn Yan

This place is set up for grandparents and infants alike. In all my stays, I have not encountered one set up so effectively for small kids. You will find toys, books, arts and crafts supplies, a diaper genie, gates, stools, high chair and so much more. We didn't have any children with us and we still thought the place was wonderful. Grandparents came with us and did use the elevator. My young adult "kids" loved the water toys (kayaks and paddleboard), ping pong table, the view, and the fire pit. The place is in a perfect location and was so relaxing. The kitchen was FULLY stocked. The large pots I brought along were not necessary. You have everything there that you need for a large group. This place was home base for our wine tasting adventure. I highly recommend this home!

Three generations gathered for a spectacular week! There were opportunities for everyone to enjoy the outdoors. The beautiful lake house had ample sleeping and a great kitchen/dining area to keep the crew fed. The owners were very helpful and accessible. It was a week to remember!

We had a great week at this property! The location was perfect, with great access to downtown, ice cream, and shopping. The views from the multiple decks were amazing! The house had plenty of space and was extremely kid friendly. We would definitely stay again!

Our experience as for a family reunion is nothing less than perfect . Plenty of space to congregate and seperate!! Loads of water toys and inside games (ie ping pong and shuffle board ) for rainy days ! (altho we were lucky to have no rain). Plenty of eating areas and well stocked kitchen! AND great parking ! Beautiful lakeside home with plenty of space for a family to spread out and enjoy kayaking, paddle boarding and if lucky enough, boating. Penn Yan is a cute little town and the location offers plenty of day trip opportunities including hiking, golf and wine tasting. We totally enjoyed our time here and hope to return.

Overall, a great house for families. Very well stocked including plenty of games and toys for younger children (we had a 22-month-old and she was very pleased). David was great and responsive. The property had a wonderful open layout on the main floor. Great location for visiting the local attractions and wineries. Only downside was some of the property required some TLC. Some notables... The master shower was basically unusable, some of the furniture was "tired", etc. With the exception of the shower, all issues were manageable. Overall, the property was excellent, and I would go again. I am confident that the relatively minor issues are easily resolved.

There was plenty to do nearby such as walking and biking the Outlet trail, hiking Watkins Glen waterfall trail, fishing off the dock, floating in the lake, wineries, and breweries to name a few. Seneca Farms is a quick 5 minute walk and they have great fried chicken and a plethora of tasty ice cream flavors. We have a number of fisherman in our group so they chartered boats on both Seneca lake and Lake Ontario and caught some beautiful lake trout. We did not have any issues, but the owner Dave was in contact with us right away to make sure we had what we needed which was much appreciated. Thank you for sharing your home with us, we had a fabulous time and would definitely come back!!

We had a great time at Dave's house. There were 6 adults and we all had plenty of room. It's clear this house is designed for many more people - there are beds in every possible place there could be beds! The elevator was a great help as well. We had a few minor issues - water pressure in the master bath and the recliner broke while we were there, but Dave was quick to reply to my messages and came by to try to fix them right away. Shower was MUCH better, but unfortunately the couch needed more than a quick repair - didn't slow us down though. The house was in a great location, easy to walk to town for groceries or just to get some exercise. All of the wineries are within about a 45 minute drive, depending how far you want to go. Definitely check out the BBQ Shack down the street - delicious! Only thing I could think of to improve would be some blackout curtains in the bedrooms - the sun comes up around 5am this time of year and it makes it hard to sleep in. Overall, I highly recommend this rental, you won't regret it!

Having the living and playing spaces on separate levels as the bedrooms is so convenient and smart. The house has absolutely everything you need to stay in and have a great time, but we also went out and explored and had a blast doing breweries along the lake, going to the coffee and candy shop in Penn Yan, and driving to Hammondsport for dinner. The owner was amazing & helpful. We would love to return!!

Had a great stay at Dave’s property! He is an excellent communicator and we felt that he would promptly address any issues we might have - we didn’t have any. The property had something for all ages to do - our group included 4 kids ages 2 -10. Considering a return trip at a different time of the year to enjoy a different season.

House was exactly as expected! Great home for large families or group of families with kids. Plenty of things to do in the home, large dining and living area with game room downstairs. Enjoyed many of the breweries and wineries in the area. Hope to be back one day!

We were hoping it would have been a little cleaner. Some of the bedding like blankets and spreads really needed laundering. The kitchen could have been cleaner. The outside of the refrigerator hadn't been wiped down, the curtain on the window above the sink needed washing and there were crumbs in the toaster/toaster oven. The cookware was in rough shape and really should have been replaced and it didn't even have a full set of pans with lids to fit all pans. I'm only being this picky because we have rented a lot on Keuka Lake, all at higher end places and I just felt this wasn't up to the standards at that price level. I was pleased with the cleanliness of the bathrooms but I think future renters would benefit from some instructions on how to use the shower in the Master Bedroom. It looks good but functions horribly. The best option would have been the handheld sprayer but we couldn't get more than a drizzle out of it. We also weren't pleased with the fact that we couldn't turn on the heat in the lowest level. We had older family members from Florida who had to use that bathroom to shower and it was pretty chilly down there for a shower. Overall, we really enjoyed the property, the location and the amenities but just thought the homeowner would like some honest feedback.

House was definitely compartmentalized between floors. We literally needed to use our cell phones to communicate between the basement level and the main living area on the top level. The best part of the house is the large open living space on the top level with large windows overlooking the lake with panaramic views. Outstanding outdoor living spaces with covered decks on each level with plenty of outdoor furniture. The outdoor living spaces were a little dirty and needed an end of year deep clean. All the kayaks and paddle boards available to the renters was a really nice touch. The kids had a blast kayaking and swimming. The swim dock was also a nice touch for swimming. Water was clean and refreshing and fairly calm around the dock. We had a couple of campfires with plenty of chairs for seating around it. The elevator was great for moving some older family members to their bedrooms. You could walk to a local ice cream shop which was nice. My only negative inside was the sofa and love seat was not very comfortable to sit in and could definitely be replaced considering how nice the rest of the house is. Overall great experience and we would definitely come back.
