Our host, Jose, was sweet and welcoming. He tried to get us in to dwntwn Bouquete for about 45 min. but festivities made taxi wait too long on top of 8 1/2 hr travel day so we were grateful for his assistance ordering Chinese takeout and market jst across way where we were able 2 get beer, milk & juice for morning. Room was quiet enough (street CAN be heard, as could, at times, pesky pug puppy nxt door ; solution: earplugs). Loved the hutzpah and graciousness of our citizen-of-the-world host, and the decor outside our apt. Internet was strong esp. downstairs. Was a bit unnerving to be locked in (at 7:30 a.m.) when i went 2 find breakfast bread)

Distance to town was what ultimately made us select another location for our 2nd night. Husband would have liked breakfast option and for king bed room to be on same level w/ bathroom😁.

Friendly people and very welcoming

I love this place. It is so comfortable, it is like a home away from home. The gardens are some of the best landscaping I have seen anywhere. It is nice to sit outside. The host is so nice and helpful.

While it is not totally perfect in every single way (no place is perfect), the things that could have been better are truly insignificant and not worth mentioning. It is a great value and I am totally happy with the lodging.

We loved the place! It's such a lovely place to be in contact with nature☺️. The owner, Jose, was very welcoming and nice!
