Yes Papa is an adorable hotel in a tropical paradise! Located within walking distance of the main street and a gorgeous beach, our room was two stories with a kitchen/sitting area on the main floor and an open sleeping area upstairs. An oscillating fan is provided. Caleb and Jacquelyn are gracious and accommodating hosts, helping us with questions and travel woes such as a forgotten towel and ice. You can enjoy a cozy bar in Yes Papa, walk to a number of local restaurants, or easily access incredible excursions. If you’re looking for a peaceful spot with enjoyable hosts, Yes Papa is a great experience! Highly recommend! If you’re a fussy traveler, choose a place with a less rustic touch. Ubicado a poca distancia de la calle principal y una hermosa playa, nuestra habitación tenía dos pisos con una cocina/sala de estar en la planta principal y un área abierta para dormir arriba. Dispone de un ventilador oscilante. Caleb y Jacquelyn son unos anfitriones amables y serviciales, ayudándonos con preguntas y problemas de viaje como una toalla olvidada y hielo. Very nice and sweet hosts, made us feel welcome and helped in any question we had, thank you😊 and its just by the beach!

We got the economic double room, unfortunately it can be very hot, although just like everywhere else. The wifi does not reach the room, but the common areas yes.

My room was pretty dark even with the light on. But otherwise nice room and excellent location.

Good location, close to the beach and restaurants. The staff was accommodating my request for reimbursement when the water stopped working and I had to leave.

Even though the water outage was not their fault (street was being demolished) other places had emergency sources from tanks as it is apparently common. This hostel had only one emergency tank outside the room and the water was infested with parasites (visible inside, swirling around like tiny black looking hairs). Also, there was a construction going on next to my room. They were hammering walls so much that a wall paint flakes fell on my pillow from the ceiling. So overall, coming back from a whole day hike to no shower, water with parasites and workers pounding the wall next to you, it was a very bad experience overall.

The two owners are incredibly nice and helpful, they could answer any and all questions and had great recommendations. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable.
