The owner/operator is lovely and the hotel itself is not to be missed. Unique, quirky and comfortable. I loved my stay!

The owners and housekeeping are thieves left some bags there because I was hospitalized for two days and they didn’t have my bags

I liked the big bed which was quite comfy and easy to rest in. I liked that the air conditioner worked although you couldn't get it colder than 66 degrees. I also liked there were ample towels.

My girlfriend pointed out to me that the bathroom door wouldn't close (upon further investigation the door has some damage at the bottom, and looks like it was kicked in. That really should be replaced and I'm surprised it hasn't been. This wasn't a normal room this was the honeymoon suite. While the red heart shaped hot tub was charming, it doesn't compete with a Whirlpool hot tub with jets. I thought the lighting over the bathroom sink was atrocious (dimly lit) which is stupid because women need bright lights to better apply their makeup (eye liner, eye shadow, etc). Also it seemed dumb that this was the honeymoon suite and the shower was only big enough for one.

The bed was comfortable and the comforter kept us somewhat warm. The staff person was friendly.

The heating system did not work at all! They provided a small space heater on a very cold night. There was a general old, shabby and unclean feel to the place. Should not be open for business with no operating heating system and Booking.com should take it off there website!

The breakfast was coffee, rolls and fresh fruit. They had an adequate amount of food. There was no human to interact with so it was entirely self serve.

My daughter's room reeked of cigarette smoke. Her daughter is allergic to cigarettes and coughed all night. My daughter asked to change rooms but was told there weren't any. Since the parking lot was empty that was hard to believe. Their bed had a false eyelash in it. Our bathroom shower head was just a pipe sticking out of the wall, no shower head. The atmosphere was darling with the fake logs and artwork painted on the walls. The beds were comfortable, but we probably will not stay there again.

It has potential. It is a fairly affordable hotel so you get what you pay. Rooms are spacious, they could be a little cleaner. Bed is confortable and the heat works well. The owner (I assume) was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

Bathroom light didn’t work and there was no bathroom fan. Toilet paper was half out and rolled out touching the floor. Price when 8 booked was $20 less than actual price.

I didn’t like how one of the rules was no guest i had a king size room wit a huge couch and everything in my room i feel its kinda absurd to tell someone that cant have guest especially when visiting from out of town.. I think they should remove that rule

Was safe, clean, and affordable. Met my needs for location. Bed and pillows were excellent - slept well both nights. Very good value with Booking.com discount. Will consider staying again in future.

Building is in ongoing renovation. Pool out of service (appears extensive renovation before available in future. Room was rather spartan, lighting and switches were limited. Room was up two flights of stairs, though not major issue for me. In a difficult location to access off Brady Street/US61, if you are not familiar. Use exit/frontage road (southbound only).
