We were here for a week. Location was convenient and peaceful. The winter photos don’t do justice to how pretty it is in the summer. We would definitely stay here again.

So much space to spread out after a long day of sight-seeing. Plenty of blankets, towels and kitchen utensils! We’d definitely book again!!

We love everything about this house!

We love this area of condos. We have a large family and there is plenty of room and the three full bathrooms are especially helpful. We stay over spring break every year and ski at Wolf Creek, which is a straight forward 30 min drive away (but have snow chains just in case, we needed them this time due to several days of constant snow!). The Rainbow grocery store and Dollar Store have all the groceries we need so we can make some great meals for dinner at the condo. The kitchen comes equipped with all the basics and plenty of dishes. The only negative was that the fireplace wasn't working during our week long stay and was not repaired while we were there, which was disappointing since it was still very much winter with lots of cold weather and snow.

We love staying at these Rio Grande River places. Roomie, clean, beds comfortable, things all work. :) And this time we brought our dog. Highly recommend!

My family had a great experience at Take a Break. The kitchen had everything we needed to make our simple meals after a day on the slopes. The beds were comfy and the home had a cozy feel. Check in and out were simple. We would stay again!

Great property! So much to offer! Kitchen has everything you need: crock pots, beaters, rolling pin, pots, pans, pie pans, cookie sheets. Etc!!! Great for a cook!!! Lots of towels, sheets, and bedding! Even provides soaps, laundry & dish detergents. Only thing we had to purchase more of was toilet paper.

It is has horrible water pressure with lukewarm temp so showering/bathing wasn’t very pleasurable. And, it could have been cleaner (cobwebs in corners, towels and bath mats suspiciously dirty-looking, and garbage behind the furniture in the main bedroom.
But if you’re not put off by this, the space is HUGE and the condo is well-appointed. Could have easily housed 6-8 people. And, it’s a great location - near Wolf Creek, South Fork and all the national parks and trails for outdoor activities. And it’s right on the Rio Grande so fishing is amazing.

Place was great, but they sent inactive garage code and lock box code so waited outside for 55 minutes trying to contact vacasa. If this happens contact them by pressing #1 (emergency contact) or else you will be on hold for a hour. Place was great as well as great value for over 2000 Sq. Ft. but communication about the club passes was non-existent. Seemed a little sketched out by all the information that they wanted me to share with them through text even knowing that they can cross reference my number to the booking.

It was not cleaned very well, animal and human hair everywhere and mud on the sofa.
