This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The location is our favorite part.. quick walk to the beach, literally right across from Thomas Doughnuts, and lovely balcony with view. This time the cleanliness was not up to par. The sheets in the bed were not made (the top quilt was made over a wrinkled wadded up sheet-looked slept in). We tried to unfold the pull out couch and it was disgusting (like it hadn’t been used or cleaned in years-we folded it back up). Some of the dishes weren’t clean. We have enjoyed our stay but will search elsewhere for our next visit.

We have been staying in this Laguna Beach neighborhood for years, and this is far and away the best property. It’s got a great view of the Gulf across Front Beach Road and it’s just across El Reposo from Thomas Donuts. I don’t like to cook when I’m on vacation, so we basically ate food from there the whole trip (tip: get breakfast early - there’s a crowd).
We loved the cottage’s three outdoor eating spaces. My favorite was the surfboard table - it is so cute!
Besides the donuts and the beach, what sealed the deal for us was the electric car charger. We are dedicated EV drivers and the parking spot with the charger was a huge plus - no more trekking to The Busy Bee for charging!
The house was a perfect size for our family of three. It has a well-stocked kitchen, working appliances, good air conditioning and plumbing, and even the water pressure in the shower was great.
Pamela was wonderful to work with! There was lots of information provided and great communication.

Loved loved loved the Key Lime Cottage! The location can’t be beat; it was so nice to take just a few steps and be on the beach. Cottage was very clean, bed was comfy, and kitchen is well equipped. Having a donut/pizza shop next door and a grocery store within walking distance was a huge bonus. Neighborhood is pretty quiet and I felt safe traveling solo (well, with my chihuahua, who also enjoyed her stay and loved people watching from the rooftop deck!) I can’t wait to go back!!

Wow, you cannot beat this location. Located in a neighborhood right off of front beach road and the beach is just a 5 minute walk from the door!
We were able to bring our pups which was another plus, we walked them through the neighborhood at night and hung out on the porch during the day. The outdoor shower was perfect for getting sand and salt off of ourselves and what we took to the beach. They also had umbrellas and chairs for our use which was great!
As far as the surrounding area, pier park is just a 8-10 minute drive down the road and has all the shopping and food you can imagine, or hop on the highway and drive a little further to find more fun.
Overall a great option for the price, we will consider staying again in the future

This property was very cute great for our family vacation. Excellent location right across the street from the beach, unbelievable views of the ocean and Thomas Donuts right next door. I would recommend this property to all my family and friends. We will definitely be going back.

We had a blast at Keylime. The description was spot on and we will definitely stay again. Yes, the house is small but is perfect for a small family. We had 5 total people. My in laws stayed in the spare room and me, my wife and teenage daughter (twin air mattress) stayed in the master. It was cramped but for all the other benefits it was worth it. There is a sleeper sofa but that is the only common area so we didn't use it. The location is amazing. You can see the ocean from the deck and can people watch all day and night as people come and go at Thomas Pizza and Donuts. Speaking of Thomas, hopefully you aren't on a diet because they are right across the street and amazing. We had donuts almost every morning (highly recommend the keylime and the maple glaze) and had pizza one night. Also amazing. Walk to beach is very short and the beach isn't very crowded since there are no large condos around. We had a great time and will definitely be back.

My family and I had a great time in cozy Key Lime Cottage. We loved the location. An easy walk to the beach, and we really loved the easy access to the Donut Shop. It was a tight fit for four adults, but we made it work. Looking forward to returning.

The Key Lime Cottage was perfect for our needs. Very clean and cozy with all the amenities that we needed. It's about 8 steps to the sandy beach! I like that it's away from the crowds but about 8 min from the mall and Pier Park. I We would definitely stay here again.

This cottage is in the perfect location to load up and walk across the street to the beach. Evenings are great sitting on the top deck people watching. The Carousel and Thomas Donuts are so convenient to this cottage. I highly recommend it! Very clean and well stocked. Comfy beds too!

We really enjoyed our stay at Pamela's cottage. It's cozy but big enough for my family and our dog. Two nice sized bedrooms plus three piece bathrooms. The kitchen has everything you need to cook at home if that's your preference. There is a great grocer with walking distance and a vast selection of awesome restaurants nearby. The rooftop sundeck is a wonderful place to enjoy early morning coffee. The beach is steps away and so nice. Looking forward to visiting the Key Lime Cottage again. BTW the cottage has a level 2 EV charger! Definitely a nice to have.

We had such a great stay at this rental house. The location is perfect. Good food and grocery shopping in walking distance. You can be sitting on the beach in less than a two-minute walk. The upper deck is great. What a view.
The house has everything you need and is very comfortable. You can get to Pier Park and dog beach in 6 minutes,
and plenty of parking available. Can't wait to return.

Great stay. Loved the location. Especially with the pizza, ice cream and breakfast place right across the street. It was really great walking across the street and being right on the beach.

The cottage was just as described, though maybe even better. It was well equipped with everything imaginable. We took some food with us. That, along with Thomas’ Donuts across the street, and The Carousel within easy walking distance we didn’t visit a grocery store. We ate at Red Bar and Dat Cajun Place. The food and libations were great at both. Service was superior and friendly/welcoming. We also sailed on the Sea Screamer and had great fun with Cap Zach and Casper. They expressed appreciation for patronage. It’s very easy to strike up conversations everywhere. The deck, topside, at Key Lime, was a huge bonus. If you appreciate staying in a historical home and area, you will like it too.

This place was in a great location and very cozy. It had everything we needed including trash bags, laundry detergent, etc. Most places do not supply that. My only complaint was the room we slept in(back bedroom) doesn’t have any place to set electronics (phones, etc) while charging. The front bedroom has some shelves to place them on. Other than that we loved it. I am already looking to book this place again next year.

Key lime cottage is perfect for a couple or a small family. The cottage has everything you need just in case you forget anything. The owners are very prompt in their responses if you have to contact them. This particular vacation, it rained nearly every day and we had plenty of space to sit, eat, and hang out in the cottage. It was also cool enough inside. The cottage is close to everything you need-located right across from the best donuts on the beach! It was very nice and quiet and cool while sleeping. One of the other best things was the upper deck-it was so nice and relaxing to sit and look at the ocean! I would highly recommend this place!

This is the second time Ive stayed at this house since the new owners took over. All I can say is its the only place Ill stay while in Laguna Beach. Its the only rental Ive felt fully comfortable staying in. Its very clean and all the updates are beautiful. Everything works properly and you CANNOT beach the location. The property was exactly what my mother and I wanted and needed. And in the perfect location. The great weather didn't hurt either. I will definitely return. This was the second time I was there. We have stayed in many locations in Laguna. This is one of the best for a couple or small family. The location is ideal. We enjoyed the upper deck morning and evening. It is very clean and the beds are very comfortable. Owners are easy to work with, very responsive.

Booked a 3-night stay at the last minute. Glad we did, the cottage is great! Such a great location, ocean view across the street, marvelous view from the roof top deck. Thomas Donuts and ice cream shop right next door, Carousel Grocery store within walking distance. Very comfortable bed, kitchen has everything you need to cook your own meal. We loved it and will be back!

I rented Keylime Cottage for 10 days, from just before Memorial Day weekend through June 3rd. The location and the weather were absolutely perfect! Especially important to me was being able to bring my Australian Shepherd. I always look for rentals that are pet friendly. I have raved to family and friends about this charming, clean, well appointed cottage. Next year (I definitely plan to return) I will be making reservations for at least four adults... and my dog of course! This is a wonderful beach cottage. Communication with the host was excellent, and she provided detailed information regarding check-in and check out as well as great things to see and do and excellent restaurants to try. Keylime Cottage is a gem!

We really enjoyed this small bungalow. The location was PERFECT! Just across the street from beach access and from a popular donut, ice cream and pizza place. The deck was perfect and where we enjoyed all of our meals. The house itself is cozy, but had everything we wanted/needed for our family of 3. Would 100% stay again.
