The property location was really near our destination attraction and it's near with the station or even bus stop so it was make us easy to transport when we were in Hakone. And because before us there was no one booked the property, so we can check in even at 11.30 AM to put our luggage. The host was very helpful.

Large, plenty of space for a large group. Quiet neighborhood. Excellent communication and directions from host.

A little far from main sights in Hakone, but a good value for a large group. Not the cleanest place, but functional.

The location is a little hard to find

we were locked out of the accommodation for 2 hours, no one to let us in. extremely isolated and unsafe access to property. would not recommend staying here.

The house is gorgeous. It had many bedrooms and bathrooms, lots of space for everyone.

My family consisted of 3 adults and 2 children. We got this house because there was plenty of space advertised. We showed up and the house was freezing, we could see our breath. We all picked out our rooms and turned on the heaters. The breaker kept tripping and we couldn’t seem to heat up the house without the electricity constantly going out. We called the owners to help us. They stayed for over an hour in the late evening while we were all wearing winter coats. After not being able to fix the electricity problem, they told us to all huddle in one room and to use blankets. That night was absolutely freezing in the house. In the morning, we noticed there are many holes in the insulation and told them about it. They said no one ever complained before and that we must be spoiled and pampered to think it was that cold. They argued with me for hours and told me they will only agree to give me a partial refund if I don’t leave them a bad feedback. Insane.

I can imagine the place is not super easy to find at night (reading other reviews) but for us it was really easy, we had a video showing how to get there, and the host inform us well how to get there and which bus and stop to take.
