Honestly so many great things to say about this property! First, it's on Native land, with the culture preserved int he cottage decor and amenities. The house itself, is well heated, secluded, incredible water front views. Lastly, the owners are amazing communicators and can be reached at any time. This was truly the most amazing christmas spent with my family, and we look forward to future family gatherings at this cottage. Truly grateful!

The cabin has an amazing upper deck and beautiful views of the of the river. The property is located in a quite area on a large piece of land, so it is very private. It is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the outdoors.

Went with a group of 4 friends, was a lovely place to hang out, cook meals, relax and be together. Is exactly as described.

This short stay with friends was lovely. The rustic cabin was very clean, the deck was amazing, the beds were comfortable and overall our stay was great. It is difficult to find private, quiet properties like this one to just get away, and this one felt quite special.

Beautiful and private, with a great river view surrounded by trees. Spacious cabin and all necessary amenities. A short ride to PEC wineries and attractions. We would definately return.

Property is located a little off the beaten track but is still convenient to all that Prince Edward County has to offer. We were a multigenerational group — the kids loved the river and went down everyday to hunt for crayfish with their parents who relaxed in Muskoka chairs alongside. Grandparents stayed up top on the breezy deck reading. There was a hiccup at the beginning of the week with the fridge but Peter was extremely responsive and worked hard to ensure we were happy.

We had a small group of 3 adults stay at this cabin for the weekend. The owners were exceptional at communication and the unit was very well equipped. The property is absolutely beautiful and the location was ideal for us! The only downside is that there was no wifi- though some might consider this a very big positive! We would definitely book this property again!

This was idyllic for anyone wanting a beautiful nature getaway! Cabin was gorgeous and private! Perfect for my girls getaway!

This property provides a great retreat to for anybody who wants a quiet get-away in a beautiful setting. The hosts were wonderful and the cabin provided everything from a well-outfitted kitchen, and a beautiful deck, to summer entertainment on a rainy day. I'm looking forward to another stay soon! The log cabin property presents exactly as described. The cottage was clean and equipped with everything you need, except any cooking oil.The king bed was super comfortable. The bed closest to the driveway was very hard, the other one was okay. The coffee machine is a keurig, not tassimo. The fire pit was large and had 6 Muskoka chairs. We really enjoyed wading in the river and exploring down by the water. Minor things to consider, the grass was cut but the outside of the property is not maintained. The stairs going down to the river are not useable (owner advised us they needed tlc) and the bush has not been cleared to make any other path. My sister is 7 months pregnant so it was a slow journey to the water side and frankly, a bit dangerous. Due to the rustic landscaping expect bugs to be plenty.One thing I would suggest for the owners is to fix the screen doors. They stick and come off the track and have holes in the screen leading to bugs inside. Beds and towels were all fresh, pillows were ample and comfy. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had a great weekend away at the cabin! The place is gorgeous and peaceful, the hosts were great with communication and check in/ check out. A perfect getaway!

Everything was A+ and river access in backyard was cherry on the top. You hear the relaxing sounds of river water and have a good sleep in quality beds. Will recommend to friends.

Second year in a row booking with Peter at his log cabin for a boys golf trip- fantastic courses nearby (Blackbear Ridge) within a short driving distance. The Cabin was perfect for our group- open concept, beautiful views of the river, barbecue/smoker and two nice fire pits made the stay even better. Peter was super responsive along the way and answered all our questions in no time. Thanks Peter and will surely be returning!

Property was as described, clean, beautiful wood cabin overlooking a nice river, very private and well equipped for whatever you might need. Plenty of space. The hosts were very communicative and responsive in the lead up to booking and helpful with any questions that arose. Would be willing to book again!
