We had a nice stay place is beautiful and very homey.

I cannot say enough good things about this property! To start, the view is to die for! The house itself is completely updated, and looks right out of a magazine! The fact that they let you have access to kayaks and a canoe, and life jackets!! The kids enjoyed swimming right off the dock! The house was immaculate! Spotless! Smelled wonderful! This house was the whole deal!

Well-appointed modern lakefront home with plenty of space to spread out. Everything we needed, including kayaks and canoe and lovely screened gazebo near water. Only downside is the only full bath is in master bedroom.

They have such a beautiful home and we had such a wonderful time in there home. They have everything you could think of in there home, we felt just like we were home.

Loved the house and surroundings! Beautiful house for family to unwind and enjoy ! Only downside is there is only 1 shower in the entire property. The garage dwelling we felt was more comfortable for children! Overall we enjoyed this beautiful property !

We were on a New England trip and stayed at this property for 4 days. It is immaculate and on a beautiful lake. We had tons of room. The kitchen is well stocked and the bath towels were 5 star quality. The beds are fantastic with super soft sheets. The decor is done in shades of blue and is a lake theme. I recommend this house a thousand gold!!

Really nice lake house

Stayed for 2 nights, was an awesome location for a day trip to Bangor and a day trip to Acadia! Property was very clean and well kept, beautiful view of the lake, very cozy/homey vibe. Will definitely look into renting again for the next trip!

Our family very much enjoyed our stay at this beautiful lake house. The home and property were stunning and everything was well appointed and in tip top shape. The kids enjoyed all the lake activities including kayaking and swimming and the house provided ample space for relaxing and enjoying ourselves. The drive into Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park was not super close but still very do-able. One thing to consider when staying here with more than one family is that there is only one full bath and it’s a shower only so there’s no bath tub to bathe little ones if needed which was a new experience for our three year old but the shower was nice and spacious with a handheld shower head that made it easy to shower her off just fine. Also, we were not prepared for the swarms of May flies or fish flies (as we call them in Michigan) that arrived in the evenings but you can’t control nature and we learned to just turn off as many outside lights as possible and keep certain doors shut so as not to attract them as much and I think we just happened to be staying during a time in the season when they are really prevalent and maybe if we came later in the summer there wouldn’t be any issue with them at all. Overall, we had a great time and really enjoyed the beauty, fun and quiet time we had on Beech Hill Pond! We hope to come back again!

This property is gorgeous inside and out! We absolutely loved the bonus room next to the king bedroom. I specifically wanted a beach area which started shallow and it made it so much more relaxing with my little ones who can’t swim yet. The shaded gazebo was lovely. This place is perfect for all ages. The bonus bunk house in the garage would be perfect for teens wanting some space. We will likely rent again! We couldn’t figure something out in the house and owners were quick to respond. It’s open and bright so if you need it dark for sleep, bring a sleep mask. Best property we have ever stayed in!

Listing is even better than the pictures! Immaculately clean property with perfect decor for a lakeside retreat. Owner has thought of all the little touches like coffee filters, lake towels, and even Q-Tips. Location is nice and quiet with beautiful patio and gazebo to sit and watch the lake. Easy drive to Ellsworth for dinner and less than an hour to Bar Harbor. Highly recommend for a weekend retreat or someone looking to explore Acadia. We will be back!

Stunning lake home, as described with all necessary amenities and lots of extras. David was very responsive and the process was seamless. From ages 1 to 75 we all really enjoyed our stay. Will definitely be back.

This home was beautiful! Just what we were looking for! Very peaceful and relaxing, being right on the lake. Could hear the loons calling at night. Couldn't have been better!

This property was absolutely amazing, clean, superbly decorated. The house was stocked with everything we needed to homecook a few meals indoors and outdoors, spend some playtime in the water, recreation on the lawn, relax by a campfire or play games indoors. There was not one thing we did not like.

We came up as a family for our youngest son s graduation from UMaine Orono campus. The house is absolutely gorgeous but the view on the lake is the best !! We only regret they we were so busy with graduation and moving that we did not have enough time to enjoy this beautiful lake house as much as we would have liked. Oh well, we will just have to come back!! 😁 Thanks for sharing your lake house with us David!!

We had a wonderful time! The place was everything that it claimed to be and more. The weather did not cooperate, but there were so many other things that we could do around the house that it didn't matter. It was a wonderful location, close to everything, but at the same time you had privacy. The hosts were very responsive, directions were clearly marked out, and everything that you possibly needed was there. We would come here again in a heartbeat. We highly recommend!

We had a great time staying here Most of our time was spent inside Acadia NP and we wish we were able to spend more time at the house but managed to enjoy a nice starry night by the warm fire pit. Had a bit of a plumbing issue but Dave personally came to take care of it. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This is one of the best places we've ever rented! It was clean, beautiful and well appointed. Anything you needed, plus more (spices, condiments, foil) was there! Mattresses were so comfortable that I'm buying same! Best view of lake and wish it were summer so we could dive in. Sunsets are incredible. Very private and quiet. Loved that they provided netflix,prime etc. They thought of everything. I'd stay there again.

This rental home looks as if it came right out of a magazine. SO tastefully decorated and one of the best stocked kitchens we have ever encountered. Peaceful setting in a shallow cove where it is easy to board kayaks etc, Scenery is amazing . I felt and others felt totally relaxed here yet only 30 minutes from the bustle ofdowntown Bar Harbor. Would love to visit again!

A beautiful home, with lovely yard on a serene lake! Loved sitting by the firepit listening to loons. Clean and comfortable home with loads of room and well appointed. We didn't get to use the kayaks or canoe due to time constraints - perhaps next time! Thanks for sharing your piece of heaven with us!
