The house its self was great for the purpose we required over the weekend. Peaceful, able to concentrate, we really loved the environment and know summer must be perfect here!!

We could not work out the stove top, no description of how it works, same with oven so we had to go get take out, day 2 we You tubed and got things working. One of the bedrooms were Icy cold the person in it ended up leaving to go home, only on the late evening of night 2 we managed to get 1 heatpump working. Lastly we would have brought our own pillows if only we had known the pillows provided were flat as pancakes (in a funny way) but we did appreciate the home overall, just these wee minor things as we moved through the weekend. The grandeur of the accommodation

The heating should have been on prior to arrival in such a large home. The televisions in two of the home's areas (kitchen and main bedroom) where not operational

Fabulous property and the house is magnificent. More than enough room for 7 individuals. We just smiled and smiled when we arrived. I had organised bubbly for my friends and we drank that in the bar/reception room. We felt very special. Thank you.

I found it a bit unusual that people came to the house to garden on Saturday morning. They were very polite but somewhat unexpected. Our check out time said 10-11am Sunday. The cleaning staff showed up at 10.15. Thankfully we were packed but one of my friends had to rush to finish up.

Really cool house. Very easy to check in. We loves seeing the history of the house displayed in the photos. Im a massive lover of very old houses and had so much fun exploring and working out what was original and additions.

It was freezing in the outer rooms, no heaters provided for those rooms, not very thick blankets. One of the rooms you can only access the light switches from inside the main house, we went and brought hot water bottles. A lot of the power points didn't work. None of the lamps seemed to work. There was no firewood for the fires, we were booked for 2 nights. There was no basic cooking supplies like oil. The cook top seemed to get overloaded and short out a lot, we had to keep turning off the switch and starting it over, so we gave up on cooking there. The dishwasher didn't seem to drain. The house in general wasn't very clean, dust everywhere, mould in the bathroom tile grout. I understand its a massive house but for a house of that size get additional cleaning people. There were really simple things like a used nappy right by the door and bottle caps and broken glass around the outside of the property For what we needed it for it was fine. We needed a house big enough for each of our staff members to have their own room and a couple of bathrooms so we could all get out the door on time in the morning. But I wouldn't book again.

By far the most beautiful and amazing stay we had ever booked.
