Perfect central location. Very quiet and comfortable. Loved the comfortable furniture, super well stocked kitchen and beach inspired decorations ! The pass to Dune’s park was a huge plus!

We spent our honeymoon at the beautiful Langworthy Cottage. It was amazing. Karen was an amazing host and she ensured that we had everything we needed. The location was amazing, a couple miles to the beach. Our host pointed us to an amazing Oyster Bar for dinner about 20 minutes away. Matunuck Oyster Bar. That was absolutely wonderful. Everything about this place was amazing. We hope to go back again. Thank you for the amazing time!!!!

The cottage was very comfortable with everything we needed. Karen is a kind host. Good location to everything. We certainly enjoyed exploring Westerly, the beaches and the many fine restaurants in the area.

My husband and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary here. The place was beautiful and provided everything we needed! This was my favorite VRBO experience! Westerly is a great little town to visit and our hostess Karen surprised us with a bottle of wine, scones, and coffee… such a sweet surprise !! We’d love to come back if we’re given the opportunity!!

The Langworthy cottage in Westerly was amazing. We were there for three weeks. The hosts were pleasant and gracious. They were exceptional and they greeted us with muffins and a bottle of wine. Sitting on the porch.drinking our coffee or wine, we felt as though we were at an arboretum. The flowering shrubs, flower pots and landscaping was beautiful.
This cottage had everything we needed and it exceeded our expectations. It was comfortable and very clean. The location is close to the beach, to a wide variety of restaurants, sightseeing and shopping.
We will definitely look forward to staying there again.

This cottage is beautifully appointed, extremely comfortable and immaculate. The layout is perfect, especially the kitchen which we loved and enjoyed immensely. A lot of thought was put into this space including the cathedral ceilings with wonderful efficient ceiling fans, fresh light paint throughout, durable light floors and fabulous kitchen and bathrooms. Small cozy space that felt huge. Beautiful gardens surround it. The bedroom is lovely, the linens are so clean, the mattress is like a cloud and offers a peaceful and restful sleep. Karen and her husband are so personable and thoughtful. We never felt uncomfortable or out of place, we always felt like we were in our own home. As serious cooks we brought a lot from our own kitchen but didn’t need to because it’s well equipped. We did bring battery operated twinkle lights ,fresh flowers and candles to make it even more special but this space is special on its own. We are currently working on dates to reserve this cottage again. We are avid beach lovers so this is such a perfect spot to call home while visiting since it’s less than a mile to Misquamicut and surrounding beaches are very close. This would also be a great winter destination, a short drive into Mystic CT or a walk on the beach in the cold is exhilarating. Come back to a cozy cottage with a gas fireplace and cook up a hearty meal in a beautiful kitchen. This is a gem year round! Thank you Karen and Peter!

We stayed here as a "home base" for part of a road trip celebrating our 35th wedding anniversary. The cottage was lovely, comfortable and had everything we needed. Karen was a thoughtful host who left us several treats to make our celebration special. She met us at the cottage to share info about the house and give us the key, and she made herself available in case we needed anything. We had a wonderful time!

It was our second long-weekend stay at this beautifully appointed cottage, which is centrally located and convenient to restaurants, shopping, beaches, and Watch Hill walks. Very generous hosts. We'll be back.

The cottage is so efficient, well designed and decorated. The king bed was so comfortable and inviting. The interior lighting was great for TV watching or bedside reading! Karen the owner is such a great hostess!

We are awaiting construction on our home to be finished and this is the 3rd place we’ve stayed. It is the best so far and exactly what you see and described online, unlike some. Karen is a fantastic host and has thought of everything you’d need. The cottage is beautifully decorated. She welcomed us with wine and muffins from local businesses. Wish we could stay longer. Will definitely consider this for future stays given proximity to the beaches, Weekapaug, Watch Hill and other areas.

I recently stayed at this beautiful cottage. Even though I was late arriving the host was available to show me around., and had delicious muffins and cupcakes for me. I brought my parents for their 60th birthday and she also had gotten a bottle of champagne to help celebrate, which was really thoughtful.
The cottage was the perfect size for the three of us. The bedroom has a beautiful and comfortable bed, and the living room had a large pullout bed. There was a great walk-in closet and well-appointed bathrooms. The cottage was also designed so well. The kitchen had all the amenities for a gourmet, and small touches like pocket doors in the bedroom and a barn door on the half bath really made the whole experience feel high-end. The cottage was also close to all amenities. I hated to leave.

The cottage had the perfect layout, appliances and amenities for a couple with a small child. Extra nice touches such as a guest welcome book, freshly cut flowers and locally baked muffins and coffee. Both beds extremely comfortable. Located short drive from Dunes Park Beach, a local family beach and stay included day parking pass - who could ask for more? Close 20 minute drive to Mystic CT and aquarium.

We loved our week at Langworthy Cottage. Our host Karen was lovely and thought of every detail -- cottage was beautifully furnished, had a fully equipped kitchen, super-comfortable bed and shower and a beach pass to a beautiful beach just a few minutes away. We'd come back for sure if in the area again.

Second year visiting Langworthy Cottage. We love it! A mile from the beach and close to Mystic for nightly dinner reservations. Visited B&B Dockside for breakfast in Westerly and highly recommend it for breakfast!

Best ever!
This little cottage was perfect for my husband and me. We stayed here while our daughter was at camp in CT and we didn't want to drive all the way back to VA. We had thr best time. Karen was a great host. There was a bottle of wine and muffins waiting for us. The beach is 1 mile away, a super easy drive. Karen provides beach towels, umbrella and chairs. The cottage was extremely clean and she provides all the paper products, cleaning products, and linens., and they are quality products and linens. I'm pretty picky and often bring my own towels and usually end up buying my own toilet paper, no need for either at this place! You are so close to everything here. We were able to really relax and enjoy ourselves. Our daughter really enjoyed her camp so I can see us coming back next year! Thank you Karen!

Clean, comfortable, cozy cottage!
This was our first experience with VRBO and we could not have been happier! Karen was so warm and accommodating. The cottage was spotless and full of delightful extras. We had the perfect getaway
This little cottage was perfect for our parent getaway. Stacked with all the supplies you could ever need (minus food, sunblock & swimsuits). Beach was so close that we walked there - about 2 miles. That said, you have to walk on the shoulder of a busy road which we found a bit frightening.. Kate was helpful in finding places to go and restaurants. She recommended our favorite place for a nice dinner. Perfect for us.

Beautiful little cottage/A Must Stay!
My family & I were the first renters of the season & the cottage did not disappoint! The cottage was extremely clean, within 45min of Newport & Providence and minutes away from local beaches. Karen was a wonderful hostess and even had muffins, wine and truffles waiting for us upon our arrival. Such a nice touch! The cottage was beautifully decorated and the kitchen was well appointed. We had a great Father’s Day weekend and hope to return next year. Thank you Karen!

5 day getaway
We loved the cottage. It was perfect for my husband and I to get away and relax.
Karen was great and very helpful with any questions we had. The cottage is only 20 minutes away from other cities in the area such as Mystic and Foxwoods. It is also only about 2 or 3 miles from the beach. There are plenty of grocery stores nearby and a great deli right down the road.
Would love to stay there again one day soon!

Exactly what we needed
This property was exactly what we needed in terms of space, location, quality, and price. The property is new and clean and has everything you could possibly need. Super comfortable bed and very nice linens. The host even made sure there was plenty of toiletries. Yes, the property is close to the hosts private residence but we found that to be comforting in case something came up, which it didn’t, but it was nice to know she was close. It’s still private with a side entrance and you wouldn’t know the two properties are owned by the same person if you weren’t already aware. Don’t let other reviews discourage you from this quaint property. It’s truly a gem!

Greatest Place,Wonderful owner!
We rent homes about 3 times a year for 20 years,and this was our best experience ever.
Karen,the owner met us when we arrived and showed us around her beautiful property and home with every convenience.
In addition she made us feel so welcome with a bottle of wine,pound cake ,coffee,and half and half,bottled water.
We could ride our bikes from her home .

This is a cottage you’d like to keep secret but it would be cruel to do so because the owners deserve so much credit. This getaway is so well designed, immaculate and equipped with everything you need. It is, in fact, as beautiful as the photos. We will return!

Such a modern stylish cottage by the beach. Had every amenity that you could need and more! Lovely fresh flowers, wine, and cake waiting for us. The kids were so comfortable on the crate and barrel air mattress/ fold out couch. Highly recommend!!!!!

Excellent Host and property
We could not have imagined a better stay. The cottage was more than perfect as far as condition (new) amenities, and host. Karen and Peter added wonderful personal touches like flowers, chocolates, robes and towels that made us feel we were in a luxury 5 star hotel. I highly recommend staying here and we can’t wait to come back next year.

Everything new
The cottage was great. Newly build.Had everything we needed and property manager very nice. Location of cottage was a bit misleading, the front porch faced the back porch of property managers house. Not private. 20 yards apart. We entered from driveway entrance into bedroom. There was a side porch by driveway with table and grill. Convenient to beach and groceries. Not easy commute on bikes to beach. No sidewalks

Wonderful stay
We absolutely loved our stay at this cottage. Karen was an amazing host, the place was gorgeous, and spotless! It felt like home for a few days and every detail was met for feeling comfortable. The house is very close to everything in RI - and the beach pass was a great addition to our days! Our 6 year old had a blast! All great things! We hope to stay again soon!

Perfect Vacation Rental
We had a lovely stay. The house met all of our needs. Was extremely clean and conveniently located to shopping and the beach. Quiet at night. Comfortable lodging and Karen, one of the proprietors couldn't have been nicer and more helpful.

Wonderful Stay in Westerly
We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful cottage in Westerly. The place was immaculate and the perfect size for our family of four. It is beautifully decorated and really has the beach cottage feel. It is stocked with everything you will need for vacation. The cottage’s location is perfect and just a short drive to so beaches, restaurants and local attractions. Karen is a great host and when we arrived we had a chilled bottle of wine in the fridge and gorgeous fresh flowers on the counter. I would highly recommend this Westerly cottage!!
