It was noisy at nights

The staff member provided the room at the top floor as requested.

Was disappointed. The rooms are too small - only fits bed and one bedside cupboard. The bathroom is extremely small (we are small/medium size couple) can’t use the toilet without being sideways - legs must be in the shower. The room was smelling like sewage from drains and ventilation. Black mould all over the walls in the bathroom, shower door and lots of hair on the floor, had to clean it with toilet paper. Floors is the room were dirty, hair and sand everywhere. Bed wasn’t dirty but had hair in it. Hairdryer had only cold setting. Other guests all around property were very noisy and nobody told them anything. Smell of smoke in corridors.

Very convenient and easy going place to stay. You can bring your friends with no issues. First time i did not have to hide a friend or get told off when bringing someone back after a night out.

The hotel is old but the price reflects this. Beds were clean, clean towels and own little shower room

In the category of low budget hotels, this one does ok. The best thing is the location - so many shops around, the central market is at the doorstep, the beach and train station easily walkable. Heating worked at night, so I didn't get cold. The staff at the reception is friendly, especially if you try to speak Spanish with them (I recommend to learn).

I could hear the neighbours at night. No mug/kettle, but I brought my own mug and a little immersion heater.

The location

Check in, I expected a person at 7pm but was faced with a machine, not the easiest experience I've had, 15mins later the machine issued one key card, not good for two people. Shower curtain hanging by a thread and no hot water at all.

need and immediate renovation, there is no access for natural light! no air condition, nor heating we couldn’t sleep because it was so cold, contacted the reception to fix the heater but they didn’t answer/care at all.

The location for the price is absolutely brilliant! Yes, there's lots of bad reviews but if you're traveling or just headed to Alicante on a budget then this is your place. We were lucky enough to have a balcony that looked into the street (choose "city view" si puedes) as there's some rooms that will be blind... Room has heating and AC, both we didn't need but they're there.

Bed was a tad uncomfortable and there could have been more spare bedding.
