Stylish, clean and comfy
Parking was a little tricky

When we first walked through the door, the first thing me and my Mrs said to each other is that we could live here. The house is stunning and very homely and comforting as soon as you walk in. With it being over three floors you have to get used to the stairs and layout but that is only minor. You are provided with everything you need for a comfortable stay, we even got a little gift basket which was gratefully received :). Location wise you are about 2 minutes walk from town. Highly recommend 'Coffee by the Arch' for breakfast, there are three pubs all in close vicinity as well. The Duke William, Prince of Wales and the Lion & Snake which are all really nice places for a drink. Food wise we went to Thailand No1 which is just round the corner. We also went to Ole Ole which was superb but it is a little further of a walk towards Westgate. If you are coming to Lincoln to visit some of the sights, both the Cathedral and Castle are worth every penny. Make sure you drop on to one of the guided floor tours for the Cathedral as you learn so much more about its history.
Anyway, I just can't thank you enough for letting us stay at your beautiful home. We would both love to come back and visit again in the future.
If I am being really picky, finding a car parking spot was our only issue. But we found one about 30 seconds walk away in the end.

Very well appointed home from home. Everything worked well. No problem getting parking outside the property although depends on your arrival time I expect. Really quiet for city location, lovely ‘village’ feel on the nearby Burton Road, small, and some independent, shops.
House layout worked really well for us, large kitchen diner makes very good and practical sociable space, especially having the dog. Courtyard garden and kitchen/hallway handy to keep dog and shoes etc there and carpeted stairs and upstairs safely clean. Can see that working really well in wetter weather. Living room with large bay window means you can catch the ‘uphill’ Lincoln breeze in warmer weather. Beds very comfortable and plenty of additional soft furnishings if needed.
Owners attention to detail is very good and welcome treats make it a really wonderful welcome and instantly relaxing.
The artificial grass is practical in some ways but can imagine it’s harder to keep clean. Had to take dog out for late evening and early morning pee and bit of a stretch for our dog who only uses grassy spaces. Even just a small area of lawn or flowerbed would be a huge help for dog owners in emergencies. That part of Lincoln is a bit of a concrete jungle for dogs. To be fair it’s only 5 mins walk to corner of Newport and poop bin. 15 mins downhill walk to West Common and same on the flat to Mildmay dog park. It’s really okay if your dog has a good bladder for overnight and you’re prepared to be up early and late for your dog.

Clean and very central position.
Parking a nightmare ended up 3 streets away! Not dog friendly as plastic grass in very small back yard, so had to walk the streets for dogs wees! Stairs and floors were soo squeaky. Cooking tins for oven badly need replacing.

A lovely base from which to explore Lincoln. I managed to park right outside and left the car there for the whole of my stay. An easy 10 minute walk to the centre. Very comfortable and homely.

Comfy beds, cosy lounge. Great location, quiet. Had everything we needed. Good to know: Kitchen, shower room/wc, courtyard on ground floor - lounge and second bedroom (off lounge) on first floor - master bedroom with en-suite shower/bathroom on second floor.

The property was extremely clean with lots of space and stylish decor. The owners had thought of everything that one would need for a stay away from home. The living room was comfortable for those nights in following a busy day out, as were the beds. The small outdoor space was an added bonus. The property is located very close the town centre with local convenience stores and restaurants/wine bars on your doorstep. We will hopefully return and recommend this property to others without hesitation.

The best holiday rental property I've ever stayed! Spotlessly clean, excellent central heating, big rooms, comfortable bed and sofa, great tv & content and nice little extra touches which made it feel like a home away from home. The location is perfect. 3mins walk to the corner shop and coffee shop, 10mins walk to the city centre and the street is lovely and quiet. Parking in the surrounding streets was easy to find and free. Thank you to our hosts for helping make our visit so memorable!
