The staff on site were terrific and did their best to make me comfortable.

My visit coincided with a heat wave in London. The flat got a full 12+ hours of direct sun and the heat gain made the room a sauna even with the blinds closed all day. There were just two small windows that tilted open a few inches so the room did not benefit even when temperatures dropped at night.

the bed mattress is basic. the layout of the room ~ the kitchen should be in entrance (and can get an extra seating) and the room should be in the back.

Staff were extremely kind and accommodating. Location is excellent. Room was clean, spacious, with basic supplies for a few days.

It's student housing and the whole process is somewhat infantalizing-- it seems they haven't sorted out how to host adults. The reservation is nonrefundable, and yet they demanded quite a lot of detail via booking.com, including a selfie, my age, and info on from whence i was traveling and insisted that my reservation would not be confirmed until i had provided it. It was bad enough that i tried to cancel thinking it must be some sort of scam, but booking would not refund me. Once I was on site everything was fine, with smaller versions of the same issue e.g., the wifi is a complex sign-up process geared toward students. My room got direct sun all afternoon, and the tiny slatted window (again, secured against students dropping things out the window) offered almost no air flow, so it was often quite stuffy.
