Wow - where to start? This waterfront home is very well-appointed, located, and stocked! E The hosts went above and beyond most in seeing to it that we had a confortable and relaxing experience, providing many extras that made our family feel taken care of.

I can't say enough good things about this property.
Our group had 5 adults and 3 children. The house was immaculate and the owners thought of everything to make our stay comfortable. Communication with Jill was perfect - she responded quickly to all of my questions and her responses were always thorough. She also gave some great suggestions for restaurants and things to do in the area.
Adorable location, about an hour from Bar Harbor, and there are some beautiful walks, shops, and a couple of great restaurants nearby. You can entertain yourself for a couple of hours just driving the coastline and stopping to take in the views.
My family had to drag me away away from the rocks, the views of the ocean, and sound of the waves at the end of our visit. I didn't want to leave!
I highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed!

Loved everything about our stay and the entire booking process with Jill West. The house is lovely with lots of quiet comfortable rooms and spectacular views throughout. We saw a seal, an eagle, harbor porpoises, cormorants, loons, a chipmunk, a squirrel and a duck family with a baby duck! Everything in a rental that you’d want to be there, is there, and more - including binoculars - and boy, will you use them! Thank you to Jill for the welcome gift and the little touches like fresh flowers, sunscreen, beach towels and laundry detergent. Prospect Harbor was quiet - don’t expect a big city experience. Bar harbor was great for a day trip and so is Acadia on Mt Desert. We loved driving over to Winter Harbor for some wonderful food in an adorable small town. My fave day was taking pictures in nearby Corea. We couldn’t have been happier. Thank you!

This home is so lovely and in a tranquil location, we had a wonderful time. The deck was used every day, for games, reading and the beautiful view. There's birds, chipmunks, bunnies, deer and even a docile porcupine came into the yard. It was an easy 1 hr. drive to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. My 20 year old sons would not have chosen the bunk bed room, but they didn't complain because we needed all 5 of the big bedrooms and found all the beds so comfortable. The gathering spaces were very inviting, it's nice to have both the living room and the game room option. The kitchen is big, full of everything we need and user friendly with plenty of tables for us to eat together. They had waters and plenty more to share with us in the fridge and on the counter as well as fresh flowers throughout the house. We've not been to a VRBO that has set us up so well as Jed and Jill did. They really love this home and it shows in how well it is taken care of. We felt very fortunate to be able to rent this home for our trip to Maine!

Our extended family of 10 stayed at this beautiful seaside home for a week and had the best time. The house was very clean and well appointed; it had absolutely everything we needed and so much more. Jill and Jed were incredibly gracious and helpful hosts and even helped with recommendations for the Fourth of July! The house is conveniently located but far away from the crowds. We especially enjoyed spending time on the deck overlooking the bay and exploring the rocky shoreline at low tide. We got to see lots of wildlife - many birds, foxes, and even a porcupine. This is an outstanding house in a great location.

The house and grounds are even better than the pictures show. The house had plenty of room for our party of 8. We have stayed at many VRBO's and these hosts have the kindest and most accomodating we have had so far. Thanks!

We had a great time in Maine. This home was absolutely beautiful, wonderfully decorated, the outdoor space was also great. We used the outdoor fire pit and the sky was absolutely stunning with the Milky Way and stars right above. We were greeted with fresh flowers, some amazing breakfast coffee cake, and other amenities to make us feel welcomed. It was a very peaceful and private location!

One cannot adequately describe the joy experienced by us all when we stayed at this oceanfront home. The view, the gentle slope to the rocks, the different levels in the house which give access to various interests, the easy communication with property manager...the list could go on. After a long day of travel, we drove down the driveway and were greeted with a stunning view of the water and the beautiful house we were going to call “home” for the week! The house is just perfect. It is spacious and full of fun - shuffle board and piano, indoor and outdoor games, fire pit, outdoor places to sit and relax. The house was clean and decorated beautifully. The owners had left us coffee cakes, coffee, and fresh flowers- ❤️❤️. The kitchen is well stocked and had extras like dish soap and paper towels which is so nice! The location is phenomenal. You are away from the crowds and traffic of Mt. Desert Island but it is easy to access if you want to do so. We went on the ferry which was very fun. The villages that surround the area are cute and full of places to eat, art galleries, wonderful walks and places to scramble out over rocks. My teens loved the hiking and biking around the Schoodic section of Acadia. When we come to Maine again, and I hope it is soon, our first step will be booking this property again. Thanks Jill and Jeb for an amazing experience!

Couldn't have asked for a better place for our annual Maine vacation. House was exactly as described -- if not better. Plenty of room (and privacy) for 8 adults. Modern house, extremely well kept and clean. Awesome views, ocean really is steps away and a beach a short walk. Location may seem a bit remote, but the house and privacy are worth a few minutes extra drive. Ferry to Bar Harbor is close and that is a scenic 40 minute ride if you don't want to drive (and park, ughhh). Owners/Manager uber-responsive and respectful when a minor plumbing issue popped up. Welcome gift was the cherry on top. Definitely a house we would rent again.

Home and view were beautiful. Home was well stocked with towels, dinnerware, and shower supplies. All equipment worked perfectly. Quality of included items was outstanding. Location was very secluded and peaceful. An absolutely first rate rental.

Jill was fantastic in preparing us for our visit and supporting us as I asked many questions about the property and the area. The home is comfortable and versatile. We cooked, we grilled, we enjoyed time together in and out of the house. A great vacation home.

Wonderful, quiet getaway on the water.
This is an amazing house with all you want in a quiet retreat. Plus the owners were very generous in setting us up for a great stay. We were vary pleased and enjoyed our stay.

We had a great stay, lots of space for a large group, two families of five. The teenagers enjoyed the puzzles and many indoor and outdoor games. Impressive library of books too. My daughter loved the piano, filling the air with music. The kitchen was spacious and there was plenty of space for sleeping, we felt at home. We enjoyed hiking the less busy Schoodic part of Acadia nearby, with easy to challenging trails. Views from the deck are breathtaking! An overall great vacation getaway!

The house was perfect for our family of 9. Lots of space to enjoy. For a family who plays lots of games, the game room was a real hit! Coffee on the rocks at the shoreline in the mornings and drinks on the deck at night were the perfect start and end to the day.

Everything about this property was on point. Beautiful well kept/clean home in secluded area with stunning views. Loved the fresh flowers in all the rooms and all the little extras did not go unnoticed! We had 2 grandparents, 4 adults and 4 kids with plenty of space to run! We had 3 families plus me in solo. The house setup on multiple levels so everyone can either be together at the kitchen level or have privacy on their own level.
The websight photos are true to reality so you can see what you are renting.

We felt at home but with a view. Lots of games for children, comfort, and a beach that you can see from the deck (just a short drive around the block). We only stayed four nights, but there were plenty of yard games and board games to keep our family busy for two weeks. 100% hit with everyone and the host is so kind and helpful in his correspondence. If we head back to Maine, we will stay here again.

Beautiful & Private
If it is peace and quite you are looking for, this property is ideal. It is well appointed with personal touches throughout.
The large deck had a variety of seating perfect to look out over the beautiful bay. We loved hanging out at the fire pit. Be prepared to eat in (which the fully stocked kitchen made easy) as there aren't a lot of dining options nearby. However, the seclusion and privacy made it the perfect location to thoroughly enjoy your group.

Secluded gem
The listing doesn’t do this house justice! The views from the house and deck are amazing. We loved the quaint quietness of Prospect Harbor. Steps from a US Navy lighthouse which was fun to catch glimpses of on walks. From the morning coffee on the deck, hikes and sunset views from the less busy part of Acadia in Schoodic to the nightly shuffleboard tournaments with our kids. This place was hard to leave. Thank you!

This VRBO experience was great. The house is well equipped and contained everything we needed. Lots of linens and towels and very comfortable beds. Our group of 9 never felt crowded, with so many different places to be, both indoors and outside. Highly recommended!

A Very Special Place
We so enjoyed our stay at this property - from early morning walks among the fresh smell of pine to watching the tides come and go in the bay - what a special place! Close enough to Acadia to make everything we wanted to see accessible, but far enough off the beaten path to be able to relax and unwind at the end of a busy day. Beautiful and Spacious Seaside Home
From the first time we pulled down the driveway and saw the ocean, to the moment we left, it was hard to find words to describe how beautiful this home was. We loved spending time next to the ocean and walking along the shoreline. We also saw seals and all sorts of wildlife. The home is spacious and appears to have been recently renovated. Everything was in suburb condition. We also enjoyed the library and the games. It truly was a stay we will never forget.

Beautiful Seaside Retreat
My family of seven adults stayed for a week at Mark’s beautiful, tranquil, seaside house. Both inside and outdoor spaces have views of the rocky harbor with all its wildlife. The kitchen and outside grill have everything needed to enjoy home cooked meals. There are also plenty of yard and board games for misty Maine days. Internet was sufficient for several of us to take Zoom conferences at the same time. Mattresses were quite comfortable. Everyone agreed that they would happily stay there again.

The property is exceptional. Amazing location, clean and well appointed. Beautifully decorated and includes all kitchen supplies along with inside snd outside games, a fire pit and a full reading library. The host was very responsive, booking snd checkin seamless. We will be back soon.

We had such an amazing time at this amazing property! The house was in a perfect location, secluded with a great view of the harbor, and just close enough to Winter Harbor, Corea, Prospect Harbor, Ferry to Bar Harbor, and the scenic byways of the Schoodic Park area. We felt like we were staying on the coast of Ireland.The house itself was absolutely perfect! Beautiful, well maintained, well provisioned, and stocked with countless games and books. Two days in, we were on VRBO trying to book this property for a winter trip! No luck there, but we had such a wonderful time we will certainly return! Thanks!!!!!
